Hey there.

I'm Gordo, and that is actually my real name. Not just because I felt like using the Spanish word for "fat" as some kind of sick joke of a username. D:

I'm 16 years old/young/both?, which means I grew up in the 90s. Most of my entertainment came from shows on Fox Kids, like Power Rangers or Digimon. Ninja Turtles, though, was somewhere before that. When The Next Mutation came on FK, I got really excited. As a kid, of course, I didn't know much better, so of course I found it enjoyable. Now that I look back at it (and at my battered-up Venus action figure), I laugh.

You could imagine how happy I was when PR in Space and the Turtles had a crossover episode, though... watching that one brings back a lot of memories. :3

Anyways, before TNM, I also watched reruns of the '87 cartoon (and newer episodes too, I'd imagine, were in the mix somewhere) and, most prominently, the film trilogy. I couldn't tell you how many times I watched that first movie.

Nowadays I'm re-watching the old series and might even pick up the DVDs at some point. I've watched some of 2k3 but haven't really tried to get into it yet. I hold a grudge against 4kids for reasons you can probably guess. I do have the first vidyuh game for the series, though, and I think I almost beat it.

too long; didn't read?

I like turtles.

Thus the final part.

Which comment will I be beaten up for? The 2k3 one? Bring it on, I can take 'em.

I pound my head on mine every now and again.

Not really out of frustration or anything. Just out of boredom.

I read "your monitor" as "your mother." I was about to be like, "Oh, zing."

I don't know you well enough to insult your mother. Give it a month and we'll see. :P

lol, all the kids who are considered 90s kids are now in their early-mid 20s, came a bit late, but it's all good. You wouldn't remember most shows that appeared in early nineties because you'd be just 3 when Toy Story came out.
Welcome aboard.

Hope you have fun here.

Well, I grew up in the 90s more than I did the 2000s. I'd say the "cut-off" for a non-90s kid would be around '96. Although really, it's all perspective.

I actually remember Toy Story being one of the first movies I saw in theaters, though. :P
