I don't remember if this was done before, so if it has I'm sorry and the thread can be closed.

Otherwise, least favorite episode of each season for me:

Season 1: The Monster Hunter
Season 2: Junklantis
Season 3: Across the Universe (Planet Racer ep)
Season 4: Sons of the Silent Age
Season 5: Fathers and Sons
Fast Forward: Headlock Prime

Oh this should be fun.

Season 1: Monster Hunter

Ugh, there's bad and then there's this. I'm so glad we never had to see Dr. Lesbian stereotype ever again. It's so bad it's insulting. Like yeah ever scientist who studies natures oddities looks like she drinks hormones and is possibly a decedent of Duke Nukem.

Season 2: Modern Love - The Return of Nano

This season is full of **** to be honest. I hate most of it but this one is king. For one Nano is the most annoying villain ever and I hated him with passion still he was given a decent story in the finial season. The Casey April date was retarded "Hey baby wanna go fix stuff with me huuurrr totally not a date durr" He acts like a caveman. I guess it's supposed to be funny to me it's stupid. Back to Nano "DADDDY MOMMY STOP FIGHTING" He sounds like a little whiny kid I'd want to slap. Plus he turns himself into Tim Burton's house which I thought at that point they were trying way to hard to be cool.

Season 3: The Christmas Aliens

This ones pretty horrid. The entire plot of the episode is just retarded. I know it's based off a comic but this is the pinnacle of raping a comic adaptation. Right here it looks like they ripped the comic apart, threw the pages on the floor and picked up maybe 6 of them and decided to write the script based off those. This season also has the worst opener ever. I hated the Alien Invasion arc almost as much as Turtles In Space.

Season 4: The People’s Choice

This one was hard because I liked the entire season. Part of episodes annoyed me but overall it was pretty great. This episode I just picked out because it's a crappy comic adaptation. This one was decently close but I still think they could have done more to make it a bit closer to the comic. It wouldn't have been hard.

Season 5: Fathers & Sons

Really any question here? The worst episode of the entire series hands down. The baby turtles look like ****. They resemble some horrible Bugs Bunny mutation more then turtles. And their voices, glass they could break. The plot of the episode is just retarded to. The turtles break a demon with rocks ugh...

Season 6: Home Invasion

This is the episode that made me hate FF for so long because it's so bad. I've grown to at least be able to sit through it now but it's still terrible in my book. The Cowboys Of Moo Mesa crossover was just a bad idea. And the dialog is one for the history books. The intro to the episode is stupid to, Leo fighting elves give me a break.

So yeah...I hate other episodes of the series as well but these ones are prize winners.

Season 1: Unconvincing Turtle Titan. Really, it's not as bad as Monster Hunter, but atleast I can laugh at that one.

Season 2: Reflections. Not awful, but it's just a clip show... plus Raph, Leo and Mike act like doofus's after Don tries to tell them they're wouldn't exist without Shredder.

Season 3: Reality Check. Just boring, I can hardly sit throught it. It's not as bad as the invasion (I can't believe they made SIX EPISODES out of that) but it's easier to sit through due to some cool things.

Season 4: The Trouble With Augie. I would make tally's of how many times April says "Augie/Uncle Augie" in this one, but I'm never watching it again. This episode did tie up Augies loose end, but the plot and villains were so stock and boring.

Season 5: Fathers and Sons. This whole season was consistantly ******, but for how I feel about his particular ep see Spit's post.

Season 6: Clash of the Turtle Titan's. Mike just act's like a ****-head, plain and simple. Other's that really sucked from FF were Headlock Prime and Future Shellshcok

Season 1- Darkness on the Edge of Town

I dont know why but i cant stand that episode.

Season 2- The Golden Puck

They make a whole episode on how they have to get something that is important to hockey. They could just remake the "golden puck".

Season 3- The Christmas Aliens

Wow. Just wow. They make a whole episode just because some retards stole a bunch of toys. Really.

Season 4- ?????

I just love season 4. dont have a leat favorite episode. :D

Season 5- Membership Drive

didnt really have anything to do with the season. they couldve put this episode on another season but come on. right in the middle of a story.

Season 6- The Milk Run

i hate every episode of fast forward, but this one urks me. its just stupid. they get trapped and then get cornered by a triceraton they can beat in a half a second.

Say what? Milk Run is like a top 5 season 6 ep. and there's nothing wrong with "Darkness".

If it's one thing I've learned on here it's just to let them post their opinions and move on, trying to show some one that something isn't bad is only going to start arguments.

I really can't remember season by season.... Though some stick out...

Season 2: Reflections. Not awful, but it's just a clip show... plus Raph, Leo and Mike act like doofus's after Don tries to tell them they're wouldn't exist without Shredder.

I hate it for the simple fact that it was a clip show and it was promoted as something else. I thought (from the vauge preview) that it would be about the Turtles being haunted by thoughts of the Shredder... something about them having different horrible visions of what they encountered. But it wasn't.

I hated that one because they screwed around with the episode order, and all the episodes like this from season 4 aired pretty much next to each other. Wasn't this followed buy the episode about the winged fighter who did the same exact thing with an Adlintian? But Casey and April Kissing saved the episode.

Season 5: I forget the title of the episode, but it just had sloppy dialogue throughout. Especially this exchange from Casey and Splinter...

Casey: Looks like a Storm's coming
Splinter: No! It has already arrived.

(in Chris Farley motivational speaker type voice) Well, Lah dee FREAKIN Dah!!!! Did they even need to say that? it was blatantly obvious enough.

Fast Forward (I'm still counting it as 2 seasons even though it's incorrect).

Fast Forward- first 13 episodes: Headlock Prime. Yet another in a series of "Look how the Future changed" episodes that were totally unneeded, and redundant. The joke that wrestling became a sophisticated event wasn't funny enough to wreck what could have been a great saterization of the world of wrestling. They could have at least thrown in some Ultimate Muscle refference or something. Even that would have been more interresting.

Fast Foward Part 2/second 13 episodes/faux season 7: Enter the Jammerhead. ONLY for the fact we didn't need to meet Starlee's annoying Jewish stereotype parents. I'm sorry, but the Jewish mother joke was played when they used it insufferably in the sitcom "the Nanny." Even if they made her some Blue bread person intollerant of the white human kid that her daughter likes. There could have been some nice dramatic racial tension.... but no. Plus, the whole thing plays like a bad sitcom episode. Like that horrible episode of Frasier where Niles throws a party to unvail some artist's work, and Frasier is hiding in the kitchen, and the party goers think the father is the artist. Yeah. Misunderstandings like that were played when 3's Company came out.

Season 1: Either The Monster Hunter
Did not like this episode at all

Season 2:The City At War episodes or Return of the Justice Force
I dislike the Justice Force, and the City at War episodes was too tame for a gang war, and the Raphael and Leonardo bickering seemed forced to me.

Season 3:The Christmas Aliens
.... well I'm sure the other post have already elaborated on this episode.

Season 4:All Hallows Thieves or Scion of the Shredder
the thieves ep... well i just didn't like it.

Season 5: Fathers & Sons
The baby Turtles designs were bad, why did they have those giant buck teeth, and their voices were .... bad. I didn't really dig the explanation for the Turtles mask, did we really need that?

Season6 1st half & 2nd half: Headlock Prime & The Gaminator/Home Invasion
I just hated that d*mn three-headed wrestler!.. and the later half "The Gaminator" felt pointless and a so d*mn similar to Home Invasion!

Season7:?! None yet and Hopefully none!

these are just my opinions 'kay? :)

let me just say that I dislike any episodes where Mikey is the focus and he's acting like his immature selfish self, but other episodes that I dislike that isn't heavy on Mikey's antics are:

Season one: The King, I thought this was a boring episode and didn't have much of Raph and leo in it.

Season two: April' Artifact, for some reason April got on my nerves in this episode, especially with that whole jungle girl thing, which is weird because normally I really like April. I also thought the plot was to "meh".

Season three: The Darkness Within, this episode had a great concept and content I just didn't care for the execution, this should have been a two parter to give the nightmares the turtles where having more substance and go deeper into them. As it was I thought the dreams where to rushed.

Season four: Sons of Silent Age, ugh, this is a example of an inferior transition from comic to cartoon. I love this issue in the comics and I was expecting the same emotional results from this one in the cartoon and they just didn't deliver. I was very hyped for this episode with a box of tissues by my recliner ecpecting this to be a tear jerker, and I was very let down and dissapointed.

Season five: Memebership drive is actually my least favorite from this season. but since I already stated I wasn't going to pick any Mikey centric ones, I'm going with Fathers and Son by default because I thought the whole premise of the episode was lame and the baby turtles fight with the demon sucked.

Season Six: HeadLock Prime, this episode is so horrible because of the bad characterastions I could weep. Raphael was just a pitiful shadow of his glorious self in this episode. He even uttered something more horrible than "it's ninja time", he said cowabunga **convulses"

Season One: The Garbage Man, Monster Hunter or even Nano although I dont hate any of these... maybe Garbage man the other ones are not actually bad imo. Garbage Man could have been decent if he wasnt discusting fat pig, I just hated his character, maybe if they had some sort of company using the homeless as slaves instead where the turtles bust them I would have liked it. Not a big fan of lone Raph and cub probably because it was played like crazy on Teletoon here in Canada when I wasnt buying the dvds I like the action in that show the kid might get on my nerves a bit.

Season Two:I actually cant really remember Junklantis, must have fallen asleep watching it again not a big fan of the garbage man. Return of nano wasn't a stand out episode, The Big Brawl with the battle nexus wasnt one of my fav arcs but I dont mind it.

Season Three:None stand out as being bad, maybe touch and go but I like the stuff with mike splinter and raph with the blind woman.

Season Four: Maybe Dragons brew or The Trouble With Augie. Although Dragons brew was a Leo Casey team up, and Trouble with Augie was a pretty decent Don and April story. I think I liked all the episodes that season.

Season Five: The ninja tribunal... Some of the stuff that was to animeish for my taste none of the episodes stand out to much it wasn't my fav story in general not that it was terrible tho. I have to re watch it to review it properly.

Season Six: Almost all the new characters got on my nerves Codey, Darious Dun and Sterling somewhat the early episodes were hard to watch but Mikey kept the comic relif going and I managed to enjoy it eventually. Didn't particularly like FF compared to the 2k3 version but it wasnt horrible the characters were pretty much the same.

I really don't like garbage man episode it was just bad and I thought the fight with Garbageman at the end was weak.

City at War, and only because I was getting annoyed with Leo and Raph's bickering, I agree with who ever said that it was forced, plus this introduced my least favorite character in the show. Karai, ugh :dead: I also didn't like reflections since it was a clip episode, and I dislike those.

I actually liked most of the episodes from season three this was a solid season in my opinion, but the episode that got on my nerves even though it was a good episode was the one where the Karai enlists the turtles to help the floating Beijing to be put down harmlessly. I was just annoyed because Karai was acting "playing both sides of the table" self and all her stupid angst of being on the fence.

Trouble with Auggie, was just boring, even though it finnaly tied up the loose ends with April's uncle

I don't really have a least favorite episode in season five even though I didn't care for this season that much. I guess I'll go with Membership Drive because it's a dumb side story.

I can't pick just one episode from FF that I didn't like, so I'll just say the first half of the season I didn't care for with a few exceptions, the second half of FF was a big improvement and more solid and good over all.

Season 1: Monster Hunter or the Notes from the Underground arc. MH was just annoying ("ParKER!"), and NftU didn't seem to have much merit, aside from Mikey being the only one not captured. That was a nice change of pace.

Season 2: Reflections. Not awful, but it's just a clip show... plus Raph, Leo and Mike act like doofus's after Don tries to tell them they're wouldn't exist without Shredder.

Just watched that ep last night...nearly died laughing at Mike's "whatchootalkinboutwillis"! :tlol: I liked seeing them without their masks on straight. But yeah, it's just a clip show.

Am not done watching Season 2 yet, but will let you know if I find a craptacular episode. So far I'm loving it all...almost finished with the first half.

I just remembered which Season 3 episode I didn't like:

The Entity below. I'm sorry... but other than notes from the underground, I hated the Y'Lintians (as close to the official spelling as I could get) based story lines. Well, except for Notes from the Underground. But those dudes took up a good half of season 4. This one just bored the crap out of me, and I didn't even pay attention. Everything seemed pretty much like it lept out of the movie Atlantis: the Lost Empire.

Season one: Thats simple Garbageman I mean come on what else is there thats that bad. It was a bad ripoff of a Batman: TAS episode. I cant remember the title but it had a fat guy kidnapping homeless people. It was like this but no robot garbage truck or garbage theme.

Season two: This is hard I hate clip shows but at least they took clips from good sorces and the traning and hanging out with April and Casey was nice to see. So I'm going with Junklantis mostly cause well Garbageman was just a lame concept. That and if I remember correctly thats when they used the sub so the whole thing felt more commercial then usaul.

Season three: I guess The Christmas Aliens I dont think it was terrible infact I dont really hate anything in Season three. I just felt it was the weakest of this season.

Season four: The Trouble With Augie/ Return of Savanti where the ones I wasn't much a fan of. Augie I didn't really care about that story it felt way to bland. I was never a giant Savanti fan that and there where alot more plots I cared more about this season that I felt it got in the way. What really bothered me was when Don still had an injured leg for a whole month and no one noticed.

Season five: Fathers & Sons It didn't start out bad but by the end of the episode it just kept getting dumber and dumber. that and the baby turtles looks awful.

Fast Forward: I'm not going to lie I hate this season I really do. There is no way I can name just one episode in fact the whole first half of the season was just terrible barley any redeemable in the bunch. I geuss if I have to single out some that are truely the worst of the worst in this show I got to go with Headlock Prime and Enter the Jammerhead. Triple Threat and Jammerhead where two of the worst things in this whole show. Put them in already lame episodes and and you got a sure fire stinker. Also I cant stand Starly she just annoyes me.

Season 1 - Lone Raph and Cub - Generic gangsters
Season 2 - The Golden Puck - bore me
Season 3 - The Christmas Aliens - to
Season 4 - All Hallows Thieves - death.
Season 5 - Fathers & Sons - just found it the least interesting
Season 6 - Headlock Prime - I get kind of angry when this episode is on actually

I might be a bit harsh on Lone Raph and Cub, but it was replayed to death on Teletoon so that affected my opinion of it

It's not that I hate it, it's just that I thought the nightmare squesence could have been better executed. I know time constraints was an issue, but I think the writers missed out on a good opertunity to really go into what the boys fear most and flesh it out more.

but I think the writers missed out on a good opertunity to really go into what the boys fear most and flesh it out more.

I thought they did good on that for all turtles except Don.

Raph fears that his anger might take him over one day, and that manifested the most evil person Raph knows.

Leo's idol is Splinter, so having him turn on him makes sense.

Mikey is like the little brother, so having one of his brothers who he's trusted all his life try to kill him makes sense.

But why would Don care that much if Angel fell down a hole... he's only met her like twice on-screen at this point.

The Don thing I think was more of a responsibility thing. He's a protector and the most sensitive, at least openly, about caring for people. You saw how he reacted to helping the Underground monsters, he only met them once too. He bears the worlds weights on his shoulders sometimes. Like with Kirby you saw how he reacted to that as well. He felt responsible even though there was nothing he could have done.

Not the best worst fear but I see why it works. I agree the episode could have been a lot more then it was but out of what we got in the series so far I enjoyed it a lot. The Rat King episode was also a favorite of mine. The only thing I hated was the horrid looking CGI rats.

I like that explanation. That just now made sense to me. If it were April, for instance, falling down the hole, the emotional connection would have been obvious. But Angel was the person most recently under Don's care, so it makes sense he would feel the need to help her just like the Underground monsters and Kirby.

Oh, maybe I'd better at least address the topic of this thread,

Least favorite ep:
Season 1: Garbageman
Season 2: Reflections
Season 3: All good! But Across the Universe didn't quite live up to the hype of the other eps in that saga.
Season 4: Wing and a Prayer
Season 5: Enter the Dragons, Part II (sadly anti-climatic and not in tone with the series)
Season 6/FF: Night of Sh’Okanabo!; I actually find this season stronger than most people give it credit for!

Darth Shredder

Season 5: Enter the Dragons, Part II (sadly anti-climatic and not in tone with the series)

I have to say that I was very disappointed with this episode also. As a finale to a season of excellent build-up, it failed to deliver. I'm all for the incomprehensible "laws of magic", but things began getting ridiculous quickly.

The Demon Shredder, who we came to see as a powerfully worthy villain, was defeated in the blink of an eye (simply, effortlessly crushing the gauntlet and helmet, and then sliced by a Phantom Yoshi). What the hell was the Yoshi ghost even doing there? It wasn't epic. It wasn't touching or emotional. It was ridiculous.

Then the Ninja Tribunal inexplicably show up for no apparent reason, saying they couldn't interphere the whole time because of some nonsensical, bullcrap reason, so we end up finding out this "greatest evil to have walked the face of the earth" wasn't even a threat. The Turtles haven't lost anything. Everything went back perfectly to the way it was. It's like Season Five might as well have not even happened.

I LOVED Legend of the Five Dragons, New World Order Parts I & II, and Enter the Dragons Part I... but it was thrown all away as a whole story because the writers got sloppy.

*sigh* 2k3 is so pretentious in nature, and underwhelming as a series. It has an arrogant "Hey look, we made a more SERIOUS Turtles!" written all over it. The show doesn't deserve my respect like the OT does.

That is a fair criticism of the 2k3 series, though I have LOVED the series as a whole. It often tries to flaunt its cool factor to poor results. Character and plot development sometimes come out of the blue and leaves viewers frustrated. The execution was more effective in Seasons 1 and 4, but Ninja Tribunal just couldn't establish an identity for the show.

I didn't particularly like episodes with the Nanos in. It's like feed the DVD into the player starting with Things Change while cooking or something until Nano, so time to get back to the DVD, press the Menu button to select Episode 6: Darkness on the Edge of Town skipping Episode 5.

*sigh* 2k3 is so pretentious in nature, and underwhelming as a series. It has an arrogant "Hey look, we made a more SERIOUS Turtles!" written all over it. The show doesn't deserve my respect like the OT does.

That's basically exactly my issue with the series. If it wants to be super serious and dark it shouldn't be a Saturday morning kids program.

I agree, Spitfire.

If they really want to return to the feel of the classic comics with an animated series, it would be better fitted on Adult Swim, maybe next to, and in the tone of, Cowboy Bebop. A Watanabe and Keiko Nobumoto team-up would be ideal. They know how to handle these things.

I don't know about the other seasons, but for some reason I HATE the third season. I don't know why though.

At the risk of sounding positive, is there a Favorite episodes of each season thread?

Hard one, this show is one of the few where even bad episodes are mediocre at least but lets see what I think about.

Season 1:
King
This episode is Donatello episode, who is my favorite turtle but this episode just ain`t so good. Seems just so too filler episode.

Season 2
Reflections
Clip show. We could have seen some one time villain or just something funny. This episode has good points but there could have been some other way to bring them.

Season 3
Christmas Aliens
I hate holiday season episodes. Klunk appears first time and lot of cameos but seeing Splinter as santa makes me sick.

Season 4
Bad day and All Hallow thieves [B]
Bad day was ok but illusion stories are always waste of time.
Halloween episode was holiday season episode and nothing good happens. Fights are bland and boring.

Season 5
[B]Enter the dragons II
Good episode but dragon formation was ********. Animepowers were already bugging me but dragon stuff is just too away from regular TMNT-action. Demon Shedder is big and bad but bland as a character. Every time he talks big and then gets hit and he yells "what!". Happens multiple times. Oh characters coming back from dead ruin the episode too. Although I liked much Tribunal, Adam and Joy still someone should have stay dead, because it is stupid that Turtles lose nothing after all making that great evil look pussy.

Season 6
Enter Jammerhead
First 5 episodes of the FF season are below mediocre but this episode was worst. Jammerhead is worst villain and Starlees family was annoying.Funny idea with Jammerhead learning fighting styles.

I hate holiday season episodes.

You must have no heart :P

I think the 2k3 series was pretty much great aside from some failed humor attempts. The old show was way funnier, but the new show just has much more plot and better characterisation.

Not to mention I'd much rather see the Turtles actually fight their enemies instead of rolling marbles on the ground to make them slip. I know why the old show did things like that, and its understandable, but still.

I also liked both the Lost Season and Fast Forward too. I never minded the "anime powers" since I knew they would only have them for that one season, and it was an interesting change of pace for a short 12 episode arc. Fast Forward had a rough start as others have said but got much better as we went on.

I have high hopes for Back to the Sewers, and I hope TMNT continues to go on for as long as 4kids still has a Saturday morning block. I'm not ready to see the Turtles "die" again like they did in those "nothing years" between 1998-2002. (not counting vol. 4 in 2001)

Season 1: Monster Hunter - that man-woman's voice gives me nightmares to this day, shudder...

Season 2: April's Artifact - for that gag-inducing montage with the "it's a jungle out there" song

Season 3: Touch & Go - "this episode was sub-par eh Mr. Touch?" "oui, Mr. Go, trés sub-par"

Season 4: The Ancient One - (I can't believe this hasn't been listed yet) I HATE the Ancient One! I hate how he is a horrible asian stereotype. I hate how he is a ball with legs. I hate how many times we have to hear him fart in this episode. :flaming:

Season 5: Fathers & Sons - for the countless reasons listed before... :ohwell:

Fast Forward: all of them :|

Lets see before I get started.

I hated any episodes with Nano and Garbageman in them. Nano was just plain annoying except for Membership Drive. He was a little more bearable because he matured. I didn't see any point to Garbageman even existing to be honest. I mean if they had at least shown Nightmares Recycled that would have made me satisfied enough that he was a recurring villain, but since they won't there really wasn't a point to him at all.

Season 1 - Monster Hunter

As spitfire put it.

I have to say I agree with this assessment of the episode.

Season 2 - I can't say I hated any episodes from this season other than the Garbageman and Nano episodes, but I already explained why.

Season 3 - Hard to say. I didn't really hate any of the episodes from this season either. Though I thought Hunted was boring mainly cause we had to deal with a steve irwin ripoff the entire episode. Other than that I liked Hunted. Thought the leatherhead development was pretty good. Not to mention Leo the perfectionist stepping on a mine.

Season 4 - All Hallows Theives

Another annoying Aussie stereotype villain. Even for a halloween special it was just pretty weak episode wise. Not saying it's bad or anything. I'd say it was okay at best.

Season 5 - None

Fast Forward - None. I actually enjoyed all of fast forward as weird as it sounds.

Season 1 - Garbageman
I just hated the idea of Garbageman. He's one of the lamest villains ever.

Season 2 - Junklantis
Again, I hate Garbageman and the episode wasn't so good.

Season 3 - Probably Touch and Go
It was just boring that's all.

Season 4 - All Hallows Thieves
It felt boring and it wasn't so interesting.

Season 5 - Fathers and Sons
At first I thought it woould be interesting, but after first couple of minutes I knew I would hate it. The reasons were already mentioned before so I won't repeat them.

Season 6 - Enter Jammerhead
I didn't like most of this season, but this episode was the worst. Jammerhead is a bad villain and I didn't like Starlee's family.
