That Ch'rell will return? All I've heard is rumors. I don't know where anyone is getting this information, and haven't seen any official confirmations.

Well, there was a drawing of him in a small mechanical thing. But haven't seen any more about Ch'rell.

Which drawing his that?

I hope he returns. And I hope they give an explanation as to how Karai saved him from the ice asteroid.

You know, I thought it was weird that the Utroms had that asteroid NAMED. I mean it was a whole belt of probably hundreds. That would be one boring job: "Okay, we'll call this one Bob III, and that one Cindy IV, and that one Louis II... wait, Louis II is actually Bob III..." *scratches that out*

I still say it's Viral not Ch'rell as the next Shredder and even if we do get him back I don't think it will be in the real world, I'm pretty sure the entire Shredder/ Ch'rell thing will take place only in the Cyber World.

And the blog is here & it's only for an action figure no mention of the show.

& sadly with Playmates history it may have gotten scrapped already.

Looks neat!

So yeah, that's basically what I thought: it's up in the air as far as Ch'rell returning.

Who said it'd be Karai? It's much more likely The Triceratons or another race free him

You're right. Karai is a speculation on my part.

remember though, he was supposed to be meeting with a bunch of mercenaries. So they could have been working on finding his location.

Methinks I could make another thread detailing people's opinions of the "how."

I might later. Or one of you can while I'm asleep. I'm hitting the sack.

You know, I honestly don't think that is even a concept from the new season. Look at the art style... It looks too good to be from the new season (looks like seasons 1-5 art style.)

I seriously think it won't be anything from the new season, and if so, it's probably been toned down a bit to resemble the art style of the new season.

That style guide is used for the toy it is to be based on more than likely done by Michael dooney or used with clip art from past season and then an outfit is drawn on a overly over top of it.
There are 2 other designs on Murphys blog for the back to the sewer toy line and they look like this as well and also look as if Michael Dooney did them.

Yeah, the Cyber Foot and Cyber Mike, although they were the same design, looked markedly different in the actual 4Kids character references we've seen.

I will say that I have never seen this before and that I haven't seen anything resembling it in the shows designs.

(That is not a confirmation or a denial of Ch'rell btw.)

We'll like I said before it's for the toy line and Playmates is known to make toys of characters that haven't apeared on the show in a long time or at all, which blows my mind.
I'll never get the people that run that company lol let's make characters no one knows but refuse to make toys of characters that have been in tuns of episodes and comics. *shruggs*

Or let's make irrellivant variations of the Turtles that don't fit into the general aspect of the show, that don't have the fun the originals have.

I hope they make him at some point. I was constantly holding out for a 4th Shredder with removable helmet and a removable breastplate that revealed Che'rel.

My guess is that Ch'rell will return, and that art for the figure is just something to give it, as Laird would say "play value". You know, sort of like the first release of 2K3 Baxter Stockman.

After seeing how it's going so far, if Chrell DOES return, he might be a minor character...or a flashback.

I wouldn't count that as a proper return.
