question concerning gags, jokes and weapons assortments

Ok like the title says this is in regaurds to the gags, jokes and weapons thatwere supposed to be for the turtles. I remeber seeing pamphlets that came with some of the original vehicles (cheapskate and The Turtle paratrooper chute) That showed the joke books plus an assortment of weapons and acessories.
Any way my question is did they ever produce the weapons? I remember the joke books but never saw any of the weapons and such.

If your wondering what I'm talking about, go to ninjaturtles. com and look in the old toy archive under year 1989. I'm just curious to know if they even existed and got past the Idea/prototype phase.

Ah... though I can't prove it to you, since I don't have it... I DO know they existed. I was at some comic book store, and they had one stashed with the old figures. It was like 5 bucks, and I had no money at the time... but they were blister packed just like the action figures. They came with one or 2 odd accessories, some sort of practical joke device, and a small "Joke Book" that was more a joke leaflet....

Thanks Archon_Turtle, I already know about that section of ninjaturtles.com which is where I seen them that awakened my memory, I was just wondering if any one had physical proof that they did exist because I've never seen them at swap meets or even on E-Bay. Or for that mater, did they come with vehicles or were they in their own packageing like the weapons packs that were made for Masters of the Universe and G.I. Joe?
