WOW! That looks amazing! 3 Shredders! And Viral sent the back wtf?
Viral Shredder, Demon Shredder is back wtf?, and Karai?
I also saw that Mutant Mole creature from the sub sewer toy line, so they better get on it and release that ugly mug already!

Poor Serling I hope he's ok, seriously I'm going to have to watch this a few times there's just so much to take in.
I love seeing the old Foot Soldiers take on the new ones.:o

Huh??? So where does one see the TMNT sneak peak??? I don't see it... :ohwell:
Very impressive.
The tone seems darker then last season, which is good.
May I ask if the episodes flow as well as they did back in seasons 1-5, or do they flow like season 6 episodes?
I miss the depth of seasons 1-5. Raph spending time with a blind woman, episodes not always starting out with the Turtles in the spotlight, music in some episodes. Ok just kidding about the last part, but the music parts of Aprils Artifact and City at War part 1 wasn't bad at all.
From what I saw, looks to be a good episode. I hope we get some multipart episodes.
Even though I act dissapointed at times, due to the missing of how the episodes in seasons 1-5 felt, I as a fan of the TMNT do have to thank 4Kids for keeping the show on the air. If Power Rangers and Simpsons can stay on, let's help make sure TMNT stays on as long.

There should be a video player sandwiched between the first two paragraph's of the post.
"...new shows airing on The CW4Kids. [VIDEO PLAYER] Each day for the next few days..."
What browser are you using and do you have the latest version of flash installed?
Ok from that preview I can guess one of two things.
1. The Turtles are not in their REAL TIME period, and just in some alternate dimension, and that is why the characters all look so drastically different.) This will happen for 13 episodes before either going back to the future, or back to their real time where things aren't so different.
2. This is a 13 episode dream where the Turtles go home, but to an alternate dimension and at the end of the 13th episode, Mikey will wake up.
Am I wrong?

Ah! That did it....strange that I didn't have flash player installed....must not have come with Firefox 3
Ok...lesse... Viral helped them get back for whatever reasons. There's THREE Shredders, Poor Serling is with them for whatever reasonings, I still want those sub sewer monsters but I haven't seen them in stores yet but it looks like Im gonna have to get Sub sewer Raph....which I have been reluctant to get...but now knowing it's BTTS Raph Im gonna have to get it....
So this is gonna air on tv on Sept 12th?
The CW4Kids Preview show is going to be on next Friday (the 12th) at 4:30PM. With the new CW4Kids Sat. morning line-up on the 13th.

Yes... I've noticed there's a lot of "reused footage" in there as opposed to original animation. Sort of like the initial version of Fast Forward's opening.
So far, I'm loving this. And we only have a 1 week wait before it starts. I couldn't be more excited.

The entire series is just Clunk's dream.
If that true then I'm not sure if I should be awe struck in awsomeness, laugh at the hilarity, or cry 'cause this means Clunk misses Mikey. I choose cry. Still the preview was awsome. The opening was impressive (though not final) and it seems like they tried to give it the same feel the first 5 seasons had. I also thought the theme song itself sounded like the 'Chop Socky Chocks' opening song, except without the female vocals. ;) And...3 Shredders!!! :o And Serling comes with them? Who'll take care of Cody? I also loved Mikey's line in the beginning. All in all I can't wait to see this series in full.
I'm telling you, I bet it is either all a dream, or all 13 episodes take place in an alternate New York.
I kind of hope all 13 episodes don't take place in an Atlernate New York, but from the intro which shows many shots of the show, show that version of New York. Namely Leo jumping and kicking across a lot of the new Foot ninjas.
I am impressed with the animation and slightly darker tone the new season is taking, but I do miss the depth seasons 1-5 had in terms of episodes stories and knack for feeling really down to earth. Sometimes I forgot I was watching TMNT during seasons 1-5 and that was a good thing. I felt like an adult could easily watch and enjoy it.

I am beyond joyful- not to mention relieved- that Splinter came back with the Turtles.
Not sure why Serling came, though.
I can easily adapt to the new animation and character designs- though it does look like Splinter got aged a bit too quickly. Otherwise I am cool with it.
Can't wait till it starts. Though I'll probably watch the new episodes on Youtube, since at 9:30 AM I am at work or at the gym.

You mean you don't want a TMNT version of the series Sliders? :P
Edit: It dawned on me. I remember wondering 2 things:
1. Why, since Cody had a collection of TMNT artifacts in >> did the Turtles need new ninja weapons?
2. When I saw the Hun design, I wondered why he had the Turtles' weapons...or at least Raph's Sai.
Now the 2 things may have coalesced....I feel kinda silly for not putting them together before.
Look screen grab!

Well I can at least say that I am much more excited to see this than I was to see Fast Forward. I like that they kept the normal music (and I hope to hear the sinister sounding Oroku Saki theme again that was used in the earlier season 1 episodes). Nonetheless I will definitely be giving this season a try.

I'm excited to see the new TMNT preview. As of now I don't get the CW but that will change soon. (i hope) The "art" looks nice but it just looks to toony compared to when it all began in 2002. (does that make sense?:ohwell:) I remember my disapointment when the "Batman Animated Series" style was lowered.(my opinion) when they moved from Fox 11 to KTTV 5 ( L.A. channels)
But enough of my gripping... Horrah for another season of TMNT!!!:D:D:D:D May there be many, many more.
PS - Is there hope they'll bring in more characters from the Mirage Universe like Carnage, Radical, Juliet Romero, or dare I suggest....Shadow?

Only problem with that pic of Ch'rell...
The art style looks like something from seasons 1-5. The look of that picture is more menacing and less cartoony then the BTTS designs.
I don't mind about the animation, I just hope the episodes flow like they did during seasons 1-5, and not too much like season 6.
I was watching A Tale of Master Yoshi last night, and it reminded me why seasons 1-5 were so good. It didn't even involve the Turtles, just Leo telling a story. I miss episodes like that, and Touch and Go where Raph sat down to some drink with a blind woman. I guess what I am saying was, season 1-5 didn't feel so rushed, as it took its time to develop character in each episode, instead of just beign flat out action and comedy.
I love season 6, but it feels different, and I wish season 6 would've had more of what 1-5 did, and I hope season 7 does as well.
One more week until we find out.

Plotwise, it looks interesting already. Viral is strongly hinted to be connected to Cyber Shredder, as many guessed. I'll bet that the world they saw in this preview is merely a pitstop on their journey through space-time.
I've always thought the designs were fine, but the animation was noticably cheaper. The Shredder vs. Shredder fight looked clunky as hell, but I'll get used to it.
Also, oh my god, Demon Shredder actually engaged in hand to hand combat.
You voted for it, well maybe you didn't but that's the song that won. Better then that piece of **** rap song they had. I can handle rap to an extent but even I have my limits.I always liked #4 or #6. Closest thing to a pure instrumental opening we'll ever see. But that's neither here nor there...

Just looked at the Karai shredder design, there is no red band.
Besides that, the Shredder fighting Tengu / Saki looked way to bulky to be Karai. Unless she's purposely disguising herself as her father again.
Either way, how is Demon Saki still alive? And how did Ch'rell get back? Did Viral somehow do all of this using the Time Window? If she used it to get the Demon Shredder, wouldn't that change the past since he was killed?
Gah, I'm getting excited.

My speculation: The scene isn't set in present day New York but in the cyber-world. It would explain the different Shredders, as well as why Splinter is still with them.

Hi! :)
I'm very confused, I heard that a preview will be shown again on September 12th @ 4:30pm. Where I live I CW4Kids block doesn't air on Satudays only on Sundays. So does this mean the preview will be shown online or are you talking it'll be on tv?

I just realized something about the preview. Doesn't DON ride a bike and doesn't LEO ride a scooter?
I know!! I guess Leo decided scotters were too nerdy for him. (just joking) The fact that they included that kind of scene brings back good vibes from the old seasons so it's a nice little touch. :)
Lil G fixed his pics last night, e'rbuddy. Check it, yo. ^_^

Check your local listings for it Friday and Saturday afternoons. Zap2it.com should be able to help you with that. If you don't find it that way, they should be finished uploading all the segments to the 4kids site by then. The TMNT portion will likely be just what they have on the site now.

Yes, there will be a CW4Kids Preview Show (like the old ones ABC used to have), this coming Friday (Sept. 12th). With the new Fall Season starting on the 13th (or 14th in your case).

Yeah, I wish they would've stuck with the original 2003 Designs. It was more darker and much more Mirage like. This new style, with the big goofy eyes screams too much " Toon Disney " to me.
You voted for it, well maybe you didn't but that's the song that won. Better then that piece of **** rap song they had. I can handle rap to an extent but even I have my limits. Are you serious ? That rap intro was SMOKING !! And it was in the lead too, I don't see how it lost. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I hate it when people attack rap and says it doesn't go with TMNT. If anything, TMNT and HIP HOP match very well. Both are urban, gritty, and originate in New York. Plus the turtles are teenagers, teenagers are rebellious, and most rebellious teenagers listen to rap. The turtles were once an underground franchise, now it's mainstream, so is rap. Plus, the soundtracks to the first two turtle movies were filled with pop, techno, and rap.

You're stereotyping. That's not cool. Not all teenagers are rebellious and not all listened to rap. There are many people who do not like rap and some of them are *gasp* teenagers too. You're entitled to your opinion like everyone else, but please remember to leave stereotyping out and "everyone has to like or they're just a hater" tone. Some might not appreciate it.

I have to say.. the turtles do look very weird with the eyeballs. I got no idea what's goin on with regular Foot fighting the new-age Foot and all the Shredders. Guess we'll find out soon. I want a New-Age Foot Ninja figure...
As for the opening theme, that looked like a direct clip from the first opening theme, which is why the TMNT looked 2K3 style.

Fairly s*it rap at that By who's standards ? Rap use to be universal with different genres to choose from. The Artists on the first two turtles soundtracks, namely M.C. Hammer, Ya Kid K, Partners N Kryme, Vanilla Ice, and Fifth Platoon, were perfectly suited for a TMNT movie with light elements. Having a hardcore group like NWA wouldn't make sense or be appropriate for a TMNT soundtrack.
Thus why Most cloned modern rap sucks goat cheese.
Your only half-right. While the airwaves and televison is filled with women-hating, materialistic, capitalistic buffoons, there are still talented artist like Lupe Fiasco and Pharell " Skateboard P " who I think would be a perfect addition to A TMNT soundtrack.

No, I'm fully correct as I said MOST, I know there is decent rap.
Note how I don't say great because I haven't heard anything great really come from the rapper since the late 80's- 90's.
Most of the Rappers I enjoy aren't even in America, in fact I think most American music is total processed rubbish.
But seriously if we want to turn this into rap talk 2008, let's take it to another thread.

I could say turtles and metal go together well. Turtles and techno to together well. Turtles and whatever style of music you as a person like will go together in your own mind.

Turtles originates from Massachusetts. At least that's where their created. Using that logic Spider-man and rap would be a shoe in.

Plus, the soundtracks to the first two turtle movies were filled with pop, techno, and rap.
Um yeah...all they did was take what songs were popular at the time and throw them into the film. It was used as a device to draw in audiences. Why the hell else could Vanilla Ice be in it?

I guess most kids do listen to rap, but that's not all. Most of my freinds are pretty diverse with their taste. But yeah, whenever I play ball at the park some dickhead has to blast the **** out of their car while we play. I just pray the fad will die out soon, I mean people have to be getting bored of the same old subject matter over and over.
Maybe the people who wrote it were.
I just realized that some butt-head actually sat down and wrote that joke.... then they got a freak to come in and sing the lyrics. Ouch.
Um yeah...all they did was take what songs were popular at the time and throw them into the film.
In all fairness, there wasn't a single track on the soundtrack albums of the first two movies that fits your description. The few that existed before the movie weren't even noticed until afterward. So, while I agree with the point you were trying to make, I think you should have thought this through a bit more.
BTW, I dislike rap too. Out of any random sample of a hundred rap songs, I'll probably only like one enough to listen to a second time voluntarily.
So, uh... that preview was pretty crazy, huh? ^_^ It'll be interesting to see next Saturday how much happens before that clip.

ok, my thoughts on the preveiw. This starting to look sliders-ish but in a good way. I think to the set up for this season is going to take more than one episode to flesh it out, so I think for the return of this season before Splinter is even broken apart into data and they make it "home" they are going to be jumping around from time line to time line due to Viral screwing with them before finaly reaching home where Splinter gets pixilized and gets stuck in cyber world.

So, which rap theme are we talking about? The Ridin' Rims, Crank dat Soljiaboy poser one, or the Will Smith-esque, beat you off the head with the blunt end of the premise, bring up gbad memories of the American One Piece them one?
I feel it's safe to say NEITHER work as the theme song of a TV show. One definitely doesn't fit with the tone of the series, one was so simple a Caveman wrote it. There is nothing wrong with rap here, neither of those themes were suitable for the tone and series. had the TMNT been re-imagined and one of them was "gangsta" (perish the thought) the poser one would have worked forseeably. The other, once again, was basically the One Piece 4kids dub rap opening with the melody slightly changed and new words that explained the plotline way too much. If a GOOD rap theme came out... (something I'd picture as a "Walk this Way" Run DMC/Aerosmith type deal) I wouldn't have a problem.
Personally the theme that won not only fits the tone of the series, but it SOUNDS like a television theme song.

Back to the preview:
The eyes kinda throw me. I can get used to them, I suppose. Though I don't like Raph's pupils getting cartoonishly small.
Those stupid cyber outfits better not hang around long.
Can I help it if I laughed at Mikey's opening line? 'Finally, I'm not on the bottom'?
Trying to figure out the eye colors; Don and Mike have matching green, Leo seems to have blue. Raph, I didnt really see.
I admit, Serling marginally amused me, but I really dont want him around. That is a tie to Cody, and no one needs that.
I guess I can get used to the animation, but I highly prefer the 2K3 style. It just looks kind of cheapened to me.
We'll see, I guess. I'll see if I remember it Saturday to watch it.
EDIT - And looking at that TMNT blog... I think Zippy Lad may be my favorite character. Hahaha...

In all fairness, there wasn't a single track on the soundtrack albums of the first two movies that fits your description.
You got me there. I actually worded that wrong. What I was referring to is how every film, including the new one, had a famous artist at the time do a song for the movie. I never had the soundtrack for the first movie but I did have the soundtracks for 2 and 3. 3 had tons of popular songs on it but your right the second movie soundtrack not so much. The new film is guilty of the same thing though I felt it was more like "Kevin's Top Picks".
One definitely doesn't fit with the tone of the series, one was so simple a Caveman wrote it.

I don't know about you but I read several people in here who admitted to enjoying rap music and agreed the song was bad.
Listen, I think its time to end the conversation right here, ONLY because we're far off topic. Let's all agree that Corporate rap sucks, and that most corporate forms of music are written by someone disconnected from the medium, and performed by people starving for attention, or that have been fished out of a line up.
And yes, with Rap music, there are a lot of posers that listen to it, as there are a lot of posers who listen to emo-rock.
The fact of the matter is, the song in question was completely out of the tone of the series.
But then again, I'm the only one who liked "Everybody" (dispite the fact some of the English lyrics were dodgey)

Man, rough stuff. Personally I don't like rap, but that's just because I can't understand the lyrics, and lyrics are what makes a song for me, not beats, which is why I love Weird Al.
As for the preview, for me it almost creates more new questions than it answered...which is great for a preview...:P
Oh, and namegoeshere, I'd love to hear your thoughts on Rap. PM me, if you don't mind. :P

..........................Am I in the right thread? I thought this was about the preveiw.
Speaking of which, I hope Serling's okay, and that he gets to get his metal butt back to the future.
Honestly, The two Shredders confused me at first, and I wonder why Serling's there in the first place, did Cody send him there or was it an accident?
Glad they'll answer this on Saturday, only 5 days left, maybe 4 if they show more in the preview on Friday.

Hmm...
The eyes kinda throw me. I can get used to them, I suppose. Though I don't like Raph's pupils getting cartoonishly small.
Hahaha...
I laughed at Mikey's line too dude. ;)
I for one kind of liked Raph's eyes get all beady (sp?) when he saw the third Shredder, but then again I just like cartoony expressions and stuff. The animation itself was very smooth so I'm happy. :D
I also agree with you on Serling since, well, he's so close to Cody it doesn't feel right for him to stay with the turtles.
I'm pretty sure all the turtles eye colours are a shade of green, but I could be wrong. :P
PS: How is Zippy Lad your fav character now?

Let's just keep hoping the show is good and I am sure the theme will become less important

To be fair the turtles and Casey were shown to be listening to rap on two occasions in the show. Mikey was also shown listening to what sounded like hiphop/urban in another episode. In that regard both the rap theme song and the hiphop theme would have made more sense had they been chosen. I am not saying people have to like those two songs, you can hate them for all I care but saying they don’t fit is a little ignorant. 4kids made the 2k3 tmnt hiphop and rap fans whether you like it or not. And even though I badly wanted the hiphop song to be chosen I think the one chosen was a good choice.
Now on to the preview, I don’t think Karai will be in the Shredder fight. The place shown in the preview appeared to be the cyber world and not present day NY. So Ch'rell Shredder and Demon Shredder being there makes sense since their probably just digital copies. I also think bringing Serling along is a smart move. This could set up the return of Darius and the Dark tmnt as the next seasons villains if they don’t show up this season. With no one to help protect Cody they’ll most likely kidnap him and steal the time window plans to go to the turtles time

What they could do is open a portal later to send Serling back, but they find it's about ten or twenty years from when he left, so they find that Cody's now in his thirties or something, married to Starlee and involved in a big scale war with Darius, The Dark Turtles and Triceraton Ninjas or something

So I was watching the new previews on the 4kids website and in the second one they mentioned that the turtles would appear in the next preview to talk about the new Yu-Gi-Oh theme song. (I didn't really care about the Yu-Gi-Oh though ) But anyway that could show new animation but, I'm not sure what I do know is that while they were saying that there was more animated clips from the new show though it was very short but I did happen to see: some dudes in white and red outfits and the turtles fighting. Again it was very quick so I really couldn't make it out.

Well i am not a rap music fan ( tho i like late 80s and early 90s examples )
But also since i do not listen to that music so much, i am no expert on it, i do not have the rights to tell so much about something i do not know so well.
I agree with you. Rap ( i never got used to the word hip hio. geez ) music was indded very well used in the first 2 movies. Vanilla Ice was a great match. but the thing is i cannot see today's rap fitting to tmnt much.
Yeah lots of teenagers listen to it. But when i think of hip hop, girls shaking their backs and guys with dollar signed chains are coming to my mind. Oh, and jumping cars at stoplight :)
but that is just my thought ofc.

During the full CW4Kids preview at 4:30 today, before they went to commercial, the announcer indicated that the Turtles would introduce the two prospective theme songs for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. As the announcer said this, they showed a Back to the Sewer Turtle-X II in a little window. Unfortunately, when the Turtles introduced the songs, they used old recycled animation of 2K3, instead of giving us further looks at the new animation.

Well, I finally saw what everyone is talking about including the scooter and bike. It isn't strange the Turtle brothers borrowing each others stuff. Heck, me and my sister always did it all the time.
Her favorite color is purple, and mine is blue.
That was amazing short clip, I can't wait to see more! Unfortunely I have to wait until Sunday, but that's okay. :)
Is that the finalize version of the theme song I thought it was a little bit longer? Remember these parts - "Roll call! Leonardo! Donatello! Raphael! Michelangelo! I love being a turtle." And I also noticed the Shredder part in the theme was changed, it sounded good though.
Didn't care about the other shows they did use 2K3 versions of TMNT with various scenes from different episodes to play the new Yu-Gi-Oh! 5 D's themes, that neat and creative how they did that.
I noticed Mikey, Raph, and Leo's eyes look different then what I saw on the TMNT blog Don's eyes look the same.
Wow, that small clip with the Turtles, Splinter and Serling was pretty amazing the characters moved so fluidly. Too bad the clip ended too soon, it only makes me more eager to see the new TMNT series. :)
