Most Region 1 DVDs don't. Not sure about the Polish ones though.

In Sweden, we don't have all on DVD at all. We are stuck in DVD Region 2 and much stuff I like only comes to DVD Region 1. I hate the DVD Regions, movies is a part of culture and I see culture as a thing that knows no political borders (You shall watch movies you like, not because they are from your country). What's the next?: Maybe "CD Regions"? (Which would mean I can't listen to Dolly Parton if the albums aren't released to "CD Region 2" or whatever)?

From the mid 1940's to the late 1980's/early 1990's we had the cold war. The world was divided. It was NATO member countries and the Warsaw Pact member countries. Now the divide is here again, but instead of international military organizations, it's DVD Regions.

DVD Region coding is easy to get around. All DVD-capable computers need only download a codec or something to make the region encoding irrelevant. Plus, Poland only has the first season on DVD as well. And, just in case this matters to the thread-starter, the few American DVDsthat actually have subtitles are discontinued and only lasted a season or two.

The 1987 cartoon DVD:s have still not been released at all, it's just the 10 old VHS versions (two episodes on one tape) who became 7 DVD:s (three episodes on one disc), all from season 1-3.
