Ok, didn't Murph or someone say that these designs weren't going to be used in the series?

Well, you know now from this ep that Splinter's floating in cyberspace. NOW they gotta jump into the cyberworld and get all his pieces together! Think Zordon and the Power Rangers...

*not too impressed with cyber suits, personally*

Power Rangers was my second thought...after SHSCS.

What the heck are those?

Toy placements!

I found them on the Characters section of the 4kids BttS site.

I found them on the Characters section of the 4kids BttS site.I found them in the show's intro too.

What I meant was, these cyber suits are going to be an integral part of the season, but their true purpose can be nothing other than selling toy variants.

Ok, wasn't sure if you thought they came off of Playmates site, but you're very right, they are just variant Turtle fodder. But then again how many Turtle variants haven't appeared in the show at one point?

As long as half the season isn't spent in Cyberspace, I'll be fine.

A bit behind the times, Jest'? There has been discussion on their involvement in the series for months now. While it normally would be likely to attribute it to just not seeing those threads, I think it would be harder to not run into them.

That's funny considering the fact that the show has started and Playmates hasn't even shown any product for back to the sewer.

Part of me wonders if the shows designs changed so that Playmates could lazy toy making by using the old movie sculpts and modifying them.

Can it get any cornier?
No way in hell could Donnie conjure up all this high tech stuff with no money. April sure didn't buy it. Unless Serling came with loads of cash and unlimited credit and it was all shipped to a warehouse.

So far, it's Fast Forward in present day. I'm still giving it a fair chance. But I know, they can't make everybody happy and I'm good with that.

Who said the Turtles built those suits in the real world?

For all we know they might just appear like that in the cyberworld for whatever reason.

Until next weeks episode airs, we'll see if its corny or not.

At least in the old toon Don made pizza cookers out of trash cans, instead of hover cars out of space metal.

Didn't somebody point out somewhere that people are complaining about aspects of the new season that have always been in the series?

Seriously, Donny built a hovercraft by the second episode. Nothing so far has been a stretch of the internal logic layed down in the first few seasons.

I don't know as no one besides maybe people like Murph at Mirage have seen prototypes of toys for the show, but only time will tell.

Heck, the show itself is a glorified toy ad with an intricate plot. Heck, most American produced shows since the 80's were nothing more than advertisements for the toy line. :P

If anyone thought I was berrating the show for it, all I need say is that I'm a fan of Transformers and Beast Wars.

Seriously, Donny built a hovercraft by the second episode. Nothing so far has been a stretch of the internal logic layed down in the first few seasons.

Well they used to be better at covering up how Don could do all this stuff without money. Like showing them actaully get something like an armored car then modding into the battle shell or giving some piss poor explanation of its left over tech from the Utrom or the Triceraton invasion and that one was pretty good since the Triceraton's left there crap everywhere. So I can understand people's complaints. I mean Don pretty much being able to make a dumpster with antigrav hover jump and portal to Tron world is overdoing it a bit more then they did the last few seasons.

As for Cyber World armor I dont mind it the Extreme sports turtle suits look far stupider. I'm still worried there going to put any and every crappy Playmate variant into this show.

Well, now that Don's seen the future, he has new ideas. I'm sure he's poked around inside every piece of future tech he saw, too. Including the Hover Shell.

But that doesn't change the fact that he'd already built a fully functional hovercraft by the second episode. No Triceraton tech required.

And we haven't seen how Don gets the whole VR Troopers thing set up yet, so if anybody's complaining about that, they don't really have the ground do do so just yet.

Can't they ever just use Zandramon's private space crusier that they, ahem, "borrowed" in season 3?

Donny could at least install something that makes it invisible!

Feh! Just be glad this hasn't been made into a series yet:

Can you see that? A freak accident leaves the Turtles and April hugely overweight. The turtles become Sumos, and April holes out in her house until she's "Cute" again.

So he's Sumo Michaelangelo but he has Raph's bandanas and Don's skin tone?

Granted his bandana looks red on the box, but why are he and raph classic red while Leo and Don have their cartoon headbands?

And when does spinning hair qualify as sumo action?

Wait, since when do the Ninja Turtles have hair?

Dammit, every time I look at that thing, something about it perplexes me.

...

Why is cowabunga spelled with a "K"?

Dammit, why can't I stop looking at it?

It may have come severial years later but I'm pretty sure these had been made to go with the 1991 Tattoo action figure.
