I know this is probably the wrong thread but I am going down to Boston for a few days and am looking for good comic book/old toy stores to grab some vintage stuff. Is anyone from the area?

i'm from boston, and there's never any tmnt toys around here. there's targets and walmarts around for miles and miles, but their selection is slim on the new stuff, forget about vintage.
there's a toys r us nearby, but it has a pretty unexciting/sparse selecton as well.

The big/best toy stores moved out in the mid-late 90's. At the peak of the original TMNT craze, there were at least 4-5 good toy stores in the area. All gone now. All around, Boston is a pretty weak place to go shopping.

I've heard rumors of vintage TMNt being availiable at the Rhode Island Mall (about 75-90 mins away from Boston), but i havent hecked it out.

The best selection of TMNT toys I've seen is at the TRU in Times Square.

i live just outside of cambridge and boston, there's nothing. i can't think of a single place that sells any vintage toys really. most of the toy stores have closed down themselves, only the big box stores are left outside of the city.

AHHH HAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HAH HA HA HA!!! You serious? You may find a comic book store or something, but brother... there is nothing, nada, zip... zilch.. feh! It's due mainly to raising rents and crap like that... but there are no good places to buy toys.

If you mean the Times Square notation by aden, TRU is short for Toys R Us. So just a typical toy store (not a vintage/collectibles type).
