View Full Version : How many new eps do we get before reruns?

FF used to rerun the first 3 episodes over and over again until we went on, and there were also breaks here and there with reruns through the season.

How many BTTS episodes do we get before reruns? I hope we don't go back to episode 1 again after the third episode airs...

lol, that would be wicked... might be a little dark for a kid's show if they go the complete path with him - the censors are a pain in the butt.

I didn't care much for that issue and I don't think it'd fit in the show. Plus he gave up being bad in his episode.

here is what episode 4 is about

Casey and Raph head to Chinatown to find an engagement ring for April. They find one, all right. Too bad it has dark, transformational powers. Powers that are of interest to Hun and the Purple Dragons as well.

"squeals"

My mom will be in town that weekend. I know she will be fine with my going to Body Combat that morning, but I do not know how she will react to my taking half an hour to watch a cartoon. She is aware of how much I adore cartoons- but she may be thinking that TMNT was something I watched at age 13 and not something I still am a major fan of.

The Engagement Ring sounds like it will have a season 1-5 feel to it. Hope all goes well.

Sad to hear anything about reruns... Had we had 26 episodes, we could've had 26 Saturdays of TMNT goodness. Guess we don't deserve that much. :-?

Hey does Chaotic run for 26 episodes? Just curious.

It's not known when re-runs will be happening or if it'll be new episodes for a while. Just have to wait and see.

So after episode 4 is released, are we going to have another surge of re-runs or will they be pleasant and give us a couple of more new episodes? They shouldn't just release the episodes after they're completed, they need to allow time for the guys to have multiple finished episodes. Or it's part of their plan and have a big marathon! :O

Flase. They always showed reruns mid-season after big fights with Shredder and other big episodes, plus the 13 episodes of Ninja Tribunal aired consecutively.

True.

Although from what the "Daily Schedule" Guide on my Dish was telling up until VERY early this morning (like at around 7 AM!), I was almost SURE that the ep that was gonna run on October 4th was gonna be! But then I read the ep-title (noted above in curtesy of your spoiler), and I realized that we'd be getting a NEW ep. Heh, I think MY reaction to seeing the PREVIOUS date noted ON the schedule-thing as being "9/13/08" was, "WHAT?! A rerun?! ALREADY?! Shoot! They've only run THREE new eps thus far!" Was NOT happy when I saw that up until this morning! But, now that I know that we WILL be getting a new ep, it's ALL good!

Now, if our Dish just doesn't get TEMPORARILY shut off (AGAIN!!!) BEFORE then. IF it is, I am gonna be one VERY ticked off l'il Mousey!!!:x

Oh, btw, I have the synopsis FOR the above-spoilered ep, IF anyone wants to see it, I can put it in a spoiler-thingy, too. What say you all?

TV Guide's online guide is WRONG about 50% of the time. And the PAPER one ain't much better, these days. Which is PROBABLY why, when my current subscription to the paper one runs out, I WON'T be renewing it. 'Sides...they don't have the Saturday Morning listings in the thing anymore, anyway, and I'm tired of paying $4.00 a week for just the puzzle for my mom! We have DishNetwork, and their Dish Entertainment News Guide is WAY better, AND cheaper in the long run!

gobo

Looks like the answer is 4. Zap2it has been the most reliable online tv listings source for the show so far, and they claim for the first time that we'll have a rerun of "Tempus Fugit" after next Saturday's "The Engagement Ring".

New question: how many times will they rerun those four eps before breaking down and premiering more new ones? I say at least two times each (even though I think I know better than to expect them to be so structured). Thing is, they need to stretch this season out if they plan to still have new eps in May, like I expect they do.

We're scheduled to get Back to the Sewer in the Uk at the beginning of next year, so you'll probably have had all the episodes by then.

http://downthetubescomics.blogspot.com/2008/08/tmnt-back-to-sewer-on-its-way-to-uk.html

4Kids Entertainment has completed deals with several broadcasters, including CITV in the UK, for a new series based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, which celebrates its 25th anniversary next year.

TMNT: Back to the Sewer will be launched at the TV festival, MIPCOM in Octoberr but CITV in the UK has already acquired 13 half-hour episodes and will premiere the series in the first quarter of 2009.

4Kids has also secured broadcast deals with RTE in Ireland and a number of other broadcastrs worldwide including DRTV (Denmark), MTV3 (Finland) and Indonesia's Indosiar.

"While Don focuses on collecting Splinter’s data bits, his brothers find themselves pulled into a war between The Foot and the Purple Dragons. But things get a lot worse when the cyber-Shredder finds a way out of the digital realm by taking over the powerful robotic body of his old crony, Baxter Stockman! With Splinter’s data bits just within his grasp, Don is forced to make a terrible choice, help his father or help save his brothers from the Shredder."

Yeah, I hear ya, Machi. The paper TV Guide is DEFINITELY NOT worth what they charge for it over the counter these days ($3.99 an issue, for what has basically become another version of People (or whatever) Magazine?! To quote a American General during the Battle of the Bulge back during WW II, "Nuts to that!"), which is why, when pour subscription to it runs out, we'll be sticking with the Dish Entertainment Guide. That's $4.25 PER MONTH, for ALL month, and has TONS more info on stuff than TV Guide does.

And as for Zap, methinks I might even beat what I get through my Onscreen Guide that Dish has.

It used to be that the official site would have a synopsis up Just before saturday... :ohwell:
Too true. I wonder WHY they don't anymore? It would sure make things easier on us fans...and ESPECIALLY on you, our Esteemed Mistress of the Teasers. *bows to her dear friend*

I don't know, but in a way, I hope so. My DVR-recording of the "Engagement Ring" ep got messed up at one point when the stupid STATION (my LOCAL CW4Kids station, KDL17, out of Springfield, MO) dropped some of the audio/dialogue! AGAIN! So I'm hoping that when they rerun that ep, I can catch it one one of the superstations that I get through Dish (WPIX, KWGN, or KTLA), so I can record just THAT bit, then record it off on one of my DVDs at home with the REST of the ep (which DID come out okay).

And besides THAT, they need (IMHO) to hold off on airing the LAST three (or is it TWO, after THIS Saturday's ep?) til later on in the season. ESPECIALLY of this IS the LAST season for the show. Which I seriously and sincerely hope that SOMETHING comes up that it isn't.

Btw, I really like your avatar, gobo. It's cute.

Well, we know of at least two more episodes before the movie in March... it theoretically should air one right after another...

And after looking somewhere else for more episode information, that episode about snow being in the lair IS true, according to TVrage.com. So... we'll see.
