OK... I have been working on the next big thing for the past few days. Some of you may have seen the sneak peak pages from my new TMNT swap/sale site coming out BUT that is not all! I am working on a rather cool set up for part of my collection (more to come on that).
But thats not the point of this post. I have a problem. And no its not just the fact that I have an addiction to TMNT which drives everyone I know crazy. Its that I don't know which side of the street certain figures should stand on.....
Characters in the show such as 'much man, mutagen man, and metal head "crossed sides" by the end of the episode. And when they were sold as toys some times they started as bad guys and then later sold as good guys. What do you think? Are these toys good or bad?

In my book:
Metalhead - Good
Muckman/Joe Eyeball - Good
Mutagen Man - Bad
Rat King (even though you didn't ask) - Bad

Mutagen Man - Bad
He's a tough one but at the end of his episode he does become a good guy, I'm just sayin':D

I go by whatever the ID card says, but they're your figures, put them wherever you like.

But does his figure indicate him as a good guy...
Rat King and Muckman/Joe Eyeball would be the only ones I would have had question in my mind about, since they neither had the Turtleshell or Foot symbol on their portraits. But Rat King was always more of an antagonist, and Muckman and Joe Eyeball were more of allies - it even indicated on their portrait that they were. I'd have more of a hard time figuring out where to put Nano. He never was evil, just always manipulated to do bad things.

Why not put them in the middle of the street, and have a new sub-class for those who blur the shades of grey?
Not sure, but I seem to recall some of the cardbacks (or maybe flyers) doing something like that.
Having at least Rat King and Muckman & Joe Eyeball in a "Neutral" category in the figure pictures. But most times they (and Mutagen Man) were listed with the villains.

Then again, characters like Genghis Frog and Sergeant Bananas showed up on the villains' side near the end of the series' run for whatever random reason.

Well without getting into to much detail about it. The 'middle of the street' (which does exist in this display) has other figures between the good and bad. Being the news team. The only major figure I NEEEEED for this set up is small version of Krang in his android body.
Vaughn: can you email me a higher rez version of that card back there are some figs I don't recognize in how small it is.
I do remember they changed which side the characters were on depending on the era. The early ones I know had Muchman on the foot side but later had him on the turtle side. I also remember seeing Wingnut on the good side at one time. But I think that was a mistake.
