Lionsgate's possible 25th Anniversary compilation

[gobo]

From June 10th at the 5th turtle (http://the-5th-turtle.blogspot.com/2008/06/licensing-show1.html):
Lionsgate:

• DVD v.1 of the original cartoon is the most successful of the 9 DVD sets
• leaning towards spreading out the release of Seasons 8, 9 and 10 as individual DVDs even though there are only 10 episodes per those seasons
• v.7 to be released in December, 8 in April, the remainder TBD
• licensee open to the "creative use" of non-season DVD releases to coincide with 25th anniversary shell-ebration
Let's be positive and speculate what would be on it if they go with the idea.

I think that there should already be a place reserved for the two skipped eps, "ONCE UPON A TIME MACHINE" and "PLANET OF THE TURTLEOIDS". Rose and I'm sure some others would love to see the Turtle Tips included. But, what should fill the rest of the disc? "THE EPIC BEGINS"??

Yes, those would be great things to have (the skipped episodes, and Turtle Tips).

Though other companies have tried and failed for their types. Another addition, that would be fun for Bonus Material, the TV Ads (like-- the Figures, Food Products, etc.).

I agree all that stuff should be included with the skipped eps. Would be perfect.

Is there still no way of letting them know they skipped eps? I know all other attempts to contact them about it have been in vain.

All I can say is meh... meh meh meh! I was planning to get all the volumes I missed eventually, and this seems like it would somehow hinder the last 3 seasons getting released... HOWEVER... If we get the skipped "Movie" and the lost episode, I'll be happy. Though, I'd rather see them as bonus features in upcoming volume/seasons.
