Vintage TMNT toybox

[notebook]

So I got this toy box on ebay a couple of weeks ago.
I dont think I've ever seen one before it.
The illustrations are pretty cool- check out the triceratons fighting Leo and the foot soldiers.

that's really cool! good pickup!

Yeah I've only seen that a few times in the last 3 years since I really started watching ebay auctions. You don't usually find them in great shape though, considering it was a toybox after all.

A good buy at nearly any price in my opinion.

Any chance for a better-angled photo of the Leo side? Those Triceratons are badass.

Cool! I own this..I've had it since I was a young 'un...I've decided I don't want to sell it though.. it's actually really well made and sturdy, and it's handy to keep random stuff in.

I love how that Shredder is a copy from the reprint cover of #1 and he's painted like the old toon. Then you got Raph there who looks super happy. Same thing with the Leo side. I've seen this before but I never noticed that.

and hey! it came with free dentist office stickers!

Wow cool can i have it please lol.

I have basically the same thing with Super Mario on it... it's falling the hell apart, and I have to toss it at some point.

Cool, I've never seen that before. I never had "real" toy boxes when I was a kid, just improvised ones like cardboard boxes and plastic garbage cans.

My toybox as a kid was something I like to call "the floor". :-P

I have two tmnt toyboxes but not the one you have.
