so im showing her my new NECA tmnt figures, and instead of her critisizing me for spending 200 bucks (nearly) on them, she takes a pair of mikey's nunchukas, and says with a smile on her face:
"I like to do a little chucking every now and then."
that made me rofl, seeing her taking mikeys fully functional mini-chuk's and doing that...great moment

Nice one mate, that's awesome.
I remember when my ex was in New York and brought me back a Fugitoid and a Usagi Yojimbo figure as a present. (We got quite a few figures released over here during that 2K3 explosion, however that was two that had eluded me.) That was great. And the time she was in Washington D.C for her uni course - she found an ice cream vendor selling some TMNT ice cream - she bought me it. Well, she ate it and brought me back the wrapper - that woulda been a goo-ey mess on the return flight home! There was another time when one of the cinemas near me was showing a movie matinee of the original TMNT movie (musta been 2003/2004) and she phoned in sick for work so we could go...
Just to put a downer on things, I thought she was a keeper too, but she ripped the heart out of my chest and took a dump in the hole that was left... :D

I don't have any of the NECA Turtles, but if I'd bought them and showed them to my girlfriends, they wouldn't do anything. Unless I made them do something, that is!
I would probably pose Artemis sparring with Leo and have the Full Throttle Yellow Ranger stand with Mikey's arm wrapped around her waist. ;)

Who's the oblivious one now? "Gosh, Tinny's new guy in the pics thread looks a lot like Spit. Must be someone else. It would make too much sense for people of common interests on this message board to hook up." :P

Thanks for the congrats Jester. I think it was nice you didn't want to assume but what Chris said is true, especially the happy part.
It's cool Tookie, this is probably not a discussion for this thread, but yes we met on here 2 years ago and started talking on the phone everyday shortly after that. I came out to visit a few months ago and already knew I wanted to live in Cali prior to that because I have a degree in animation. I am super lucky how things worked and I am very happy I got to meet him. Maybe a bit of fate was involved ;) It is the funniest thing to tell people when they ask how we met. Only Dromers would understand I guess haha.

Nope, i'm very single at the moment, split up with my ex (we were engaged, not married) way back at the start of last year...
And Tinny, that's awesome... love, found on the 'Drome, makes me all fuzzy inside. (or maybe that's just wind...)

Cool story, finding a GF that's into toys or at least appreciates them is awesome. MY gf had a whole bunch of TMNT toys when she was little & for X-mas last year I found a bunch of MOC turtle figures & gave them to her as presents. She got, Toon Irma, Ray Fillet (with color change chest), Bebop & Tokka and was very excited. This year we bought the NECA TMNT 4-pack box set for X-mas & split the turtles between us. I got Raph & Leo, she got Donny & Mikey.
OH & when I saw the 25th Ann. turtles at Target I called her up & asked if she'd like one & she was like "YES.". LoL. I love my GF very much. :D
