Hi all! I've been lurking on these forums for a while, and I just wanted to share with you my custom TMNT action figures and additions to the Turtles' lair! Just to explain, I'm trying to adapt characters so they fit in with my old 5" Marvel figure collection. Would love to know what you think, plus any ideas for other characters, expansions to the lair etc. Thanks!

Love the Splinter custom. It's amazing what just a little work will do.
The rest are really good also, great use of bits and pieces and paint.

I agree, the splinter custom is great. I like karai too, not enough karai customs IMO

What did you use for the street level buildings and props?

Now these are some great custom figures that I can get behind 100%!
Great job, it's nice to see some one doing great things with other toys and thinking outside the TMNT toy box.
This is a breath of fresh air for me, I've seen so many horrible customs as of late and yet they get praised like they're works of art.
You my friend are making art here, I praise great work when I see it and this is it.

Sweet stuff. The city street/sewer play set is particular impressive, and the figures rock as well! I love how you can actually go down from the street into the sewers in the diorama.

Good stuff, I really like the diorama and how you incorporated the lair.

Color me impressed. Mephos especially rocks my socks off. Trying to figure out where those killer wings came from...
Maybe you could do Quarry, Stonebiter & Razorfist? Always liked them visually.

Awww shucks! Thanks so much guys, I'm really grateful for your kind words!
Aden, the heads are just attached to the bodies using the pegs that are already on the necks or the torsos. No magnets, and nothing particularly special!
A little *too* Raph, Karai has to be one of my favourite characters!
Canadian Turtle, the street level stuff is the Spawn Alley playset, a WWE garage door and cage section, various WWE barrels, tyres, crates etc, a lampost from a Spider-Man boxset and a whole buncha foamcore! The backdrop is a load of scans from a Spider-Man playset stuck together, with the buildings in the front just made from textured brick paper!
VaughnMichael, you honour me sir!
CrazyCowboyDion, the Mephos wings come from an old Batman movie figure. I decided they'd make great wings for Mephos, despite being completely inaccurate! I have a few characters on the drawing board, and I would love to make Quarry, Stonebiter and Razorfist, like, proper huge versions of them! No idea where to begin though! Although...
Again, thanks so much everyone!
