I don't think those are finished. At least I hope not. They're all so boring. No detail at all. Personally I think they bite.

Really? I personally like the new April and Casey toys better than the old ones, But I guess I can see what you mean... April's articulation looks kinda wrong, if I was still a kid I wouldn't have fun playing with her... But I think Casey looks pretty good... especially with the mask.

There's better pictures of them at figures.com (like it says on the New page at the ninjaturtles site)
Casey has alot more gear than that. I still don't like the figure but it does look better when covered in stuff.
April comes with 2 mousers so that makes up for the lame articulation.
Hun looks really cool. Check out the toy fair pictures at figures.com Somebody posted links here in some thread but I forgewt which one, but you should be able to find them from the main page.

God damn Hun is huge...I wonder if it's solid plastic or if he's hollow? I'd prefer solid.

These look pretty cool, but I have a couple questions. What is that thing in Aprils hand in this picture?
http://207.44.182.109/photo/1/data/599/1wave2a.jpg
Is it a pipe or something? They should of gave her a fire extinguisher if nothing else.
And how is all of Casey's pads and mask going to work? Do you think they have straps or will he have holes on his leg and arms?

Hun looks EVIL in that pic.

>>> These look pretty cool, but I have a couple questions. What is that thing in Aprils hand in this picture? Is it a pipe or something? They should of gave her a fire extinguisher if nothing else.
Definitely! That would have been great.
>>> And how is all of Casey's pads and mask going to work? Do you think they have straps or will he have holes on his leg and arms?
I don' know, I kind of hope for pegs/holes so they'd stay on better, but the pictures on the ninjaturtles.com site don't show holes, so I guess it won't be that. :(
>>> Hun looks EVIL in that pic.
Hun rocks! His tattoos are cool (should be darker though). He reminds me of a Batman TAS figure. :)

Those are pretty cool, especially Hun. I wish they'd give April and Hun better articulation at the shoulders, elbows, writs and legs. Casyes articulation looks good though. But his mask make him look sorta, strange.
I'm thinking that Casey's mask is moulded to his face, so it just kinda presses on and stays there. This has been done this with other figures before (like the recent Iron Man and Doctor Doom figures) and worked great, and it'd keep hole-marks off Casey's face. :tthumbsu:
The armour-pads, though, probably just snap on.
As for articulation, Hun and April seem to have six points each (neck, waist, shoulders, legs) while Casey looks to have eight (neck, waist, shoulders, legs, wrists). Not bad, but it'd be nice to have ball-jointed legs and knee/elbow articulation. But they look pretty cool, so I'm not overly upset by it. :twink:

April's articulation is probably right. Female figures usually have the V waist instead of the U waist that men have. The arms look bad though

They all stink
They did a great job with the turtles themselves, and shredder isn't that bad, but the rest make me want to cry... Sure they're a bit better than the older figues, but remeber those came out in 1988 and were playmates FIRST action figures. Before tmnt, all they made was dolls. After being in the boys action figure business for 15 years, you'd think they could do a bit better than this :ohwell:

I honestly don't see how you guys complaining about these new figs. Casey looks bad ass, so does Hun. April is pretty cool, a plus since she comes with to scale mousers. And that jet cycle thingy looks pretty damn dope. I'm gettin' them all, fuq the haters.

I'll buy em all too, but its to bad they dont have better articulation, like the turtles.

donatello, do you have a problem with me stating my opinion?
If you compare these figures to lets say MOTU, or possible even to ultimate muscle, or anything else, these figures stink. Hopefully they'll be better once I have them in my hand, and I guess i'll reserve my judgement for then, but these figures do not meet the quota of new action figures these days. Even the justice league figures are better ;) jk, nothing can be worse than those statues.

I'm sorry, but I'd buy the new Casey Jones figure over some stupid MOTU figure ANYDAY. PERIOD. And April comes with those kick ass mousers. Look at them! I mean, I want like a friggin army of those lil guys. Even Hun is great, and if they gave him too much articulation, it would ruin the figure if you ask me. Either way, they look good and I'm gettin them.

lol you obviously haen't seen good toys before... Of course I don't have many toys anymore, except the old tmnt and new tmnt, but those motu look great. They incorporate old things from the old line of toys, but still make the toys kickass. Oh well, you don't have to like it if you don't want to. These new tmnt toys SUCK. PERIOD. Articulation was added to the new turtles and they turned out great, there's no articulation in these guys, and they just look sucky.
I may change my opinion when i see them in person, but I doubt it.

Looks pretty cool, but like PWDESAI said, it greatly lacks articulation and detail. I'd buy the original Casey fig over the new one anyday.

The original TMNT toys had less articulation than these.
I think Casey has about the same.
But you know what? I didn't even think about articulation when I was a kid and playing with them. I just played, and had fun. Tons of fun.
That's what kids nowdays do too. DBZ toys have pathetic articulation - but kids buy 'em because they like the show and want to have their own adventures with their fave characters.
Besides, why are all of us older people complaining about articulation? Most of us either:
a) keep the toys in the box and look at them.
b) keep them on our shelf (outta the box) and look at them.
We're so spoiled nowdays with things like Marvel Legends - 30 pts of articulation - that we've forgotten what toys are really about.
They aren't about a huge number of joints - they're about having fun.

Why does everybody care so much about articulation anyway? Do you play with them or something? For me and most collectors we just display them so we don't really care about articulation......

the articulation on casey is way better than the old one. i personally like april's design better too.
the new tmnt don't have as much poseability as some toys today, but that's because the have a defined look to them. the reason the old batman animated series figs were so low in movemment is so it could look like the show. the same goes here. though i woulda liked to see elbows on casey.
i think the new tmnt figs are great though. and though i'm not a fan of motu i must admit they have some badass toys

Hey, I agree with you guys. Although it lacks articulation, it doesn't matter to me at all. However, the lack of detail and plain simplicity it has kinda' does matter to me. IMO, the original Casey fig is much better to look at.

actually, toys with bad articulation really bothered me when i was a kid. i liked to be able to pose them, and move them like they were actually fighting, etc. i still play with them, so articulation matters, at least to me. you say that we're spoiled by Marvel Legends, but that's because Toy Biz has raised the bar. they made toys that look nice and are fully poseable. i'm just happy the Turtlles haven't gone the route of McFarlane Toys' statues.
anyways, my thoughts on the figures:
April looks sweet! and dig those Mousers! much better than the originals(i remember them being taller than a couple versions of the turtles). here's hoping for a Mouser 6 pack, or at least a Baxter that comes with a couple..
Casey, i'm sorry to say, i'm dissapointed with. his accessories look pretty cool, but something's just not right with his body, or or his mask. i dunno. i just hope i change my my mind when i get my hands on one. Casey's my hero.
Hun looks good. well representative of the animation, and a solid figure. i'm not too excited about him though. his character on the show hasn't impresssed me much. he just seems like Shredder's flunkie.

I was just speaking for myself.
And BTW, I'm not anti articulation. I love Marvel Legends. I just mean that even if a toy can't bend and move fifty thousand ways, you can still have a hellova lotta fun with it.

With regard to pwdesai's statement of the motu figures, i agree they look kinda kickass, but my main beef with them is that they look TOO detailed. I mean, look how much detail is in the cartoon. With the turtles figures the way they are, we get figures that more resemble their show counterparts. And personally, thats all i'm looking for.
