I saw most of these while browsing your flickr account before, but a lot of these are still new to me. My favourites are the "buddy" figure repaints (because you basically did Playmates' job for them :lol: ), and Archie Shredder. Shreddy Krueger was also a very neat idea.

If I were to choose one that looked the smoothest and most professional, though, I'd have to go with Ice Tokka. He actually looks like a repaint variant that might have been released. Second place goes to Shadow Usagi, who I wouldn't mind actually seeing in a Usagi comic.

Question: Do you have piles and piles of original animation TMNT figures, or do you just re-do previously customized figures? Kee-ripes, man, you must customize, morning, day, and night!

The whole “winter warriors” is a cool concept for a wave—Tora the Polar Beast from the NES game would fit right in. I got a chuckle out of Krang the Snowman—that’s a neat-o idea. The white Triceraton look all right, but that color choice doesn’t appeal to me. Ice Tokka is awesome, and the best of the bunch, looks like he got a taste of his own medicine from the video game (I think he has freeze breath in Turtles in Time?).

The Archie Shredder looks okay, but that’s one of my least favorite incarnations of the character, appearance-wise.

Shadow Usagi is wicked cool looking and the perfect companion for Stump Raph.

Good job all around on the sidekicks. Kid Kangie’s paint job is nice--did you look at the prototype photos somebody posted here before (Archon Turtle I think) as a reference? Ruff the Reff is very well painted other than it looks like the sculpt has teeth and you painted those yellow with the beak. The Rock N’ Roll paint job is a bit sloppy, but that’s forgivable given the size of the figure, definite “Flower Power”.

The paint job on the Archie Wingnut is too dark in my opinion, I would have used a lighter blue. The Toon Wingnut is better, but I don’t like the white suit look on him.

I don’t remember Wally or Zach at all really, so I can’t really comment on them.

Shreddy Krueger is an interesting idea but could have benefited from a removable helmet.

Someone's been busy! I particularly like the little sidekick paint jobs, the Archie Shredder, and the Shredder-possessed-by-Krang! I read the Archie comic when I was so young, and every time I look at your figures, I remember stuff I'd forgotten!

i wana make a custom tokka that's bigger then the slash toy! and that color scheme would look cool (skull&crossbones)

patraw- yeah, customizing is a lot more fun than the homework i should be doing. i usually work on 3 or 4 at a time, and spend about an hour or so day on 'em. in this case, i had a bunch that i just wanted to show off :P

tmntfan617- yr one of the best customizers i've seen. i dug yr ton accurate stuff. slash, leatherhead, shredder and bebop were especially cool.

thanx, aden. im still planning to make more toon customs within the next few months. i really like the miniature buddy figure repaints, specially screwloose and joe eyeball since i remember them from the cartoon. i think ill have to make a set of those myself.

Nice customs. Shreddy Krueger looks awesome. My fave is probably Cryin Hound. Oh and how did you make Zach? I hate the little bastard but I really like this custom, what figure did you use?
