Vanilla Ice actually did do a "sequel" to "Ninja Rap" back in 2005. Who knew.

This makes me doubt the existence of God... and I'm a minister.
"Go ninja, go ninja go, what what what?" WtF? Is he so deaf that he didn't even hear what he said? My brother used to do that all the time when he was twelve.

:tlol::tlol:
Yup, I knew. I even made a thread (http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=17513)about how it should be on the soundtrack for the TMNT movie. I was told it was a horrible idea but I guess in the end the TMNT soundtrack ended up having stuff worse than the second Ninja Rap.
Fun Fact: I got to see Vanilla Ice for free since the show was almost empty and Vanilla Ice said he wouldn't play unless the show was full so they let everyone else in for free

Ok...new challenge...Someone take the club scene from TMNT 2 and play this music over it. :P
This one has what to do with Ninja Rap other than Vanilla Ice likening himself to a ninja?

*shrugs* There were certainly no lyrics filling the gap, crossing that fade to do the ninja rap.
And, now there's a part three. XD
There was very little Ninja flavour in that (c)rap, and more of a rant if anything.

Yeah, 30 seconds in and I was done with that. And I thought I had a pretty high crap threshold.

With me, I particularly despise rap and hip hop in general. Mostly, I suppose, whereas other genres (even ones I also despise) have varying topics, rap is mostly about the same "gangsta" stuff. That having been said, there are rap performances that pass my qualifications to be worthy to listen to (almost anything of Will Smith's comes to mind)... but this is nowhere near it. The original Ninja Rap failed as well, but it's still almost listenable just because of cheesy nostalgia.
Yeah, 30 seconds in and I was done with that.
That's... what... she said?

Whah? Real "gangsta" rap has been dead for about 10 years.

I didn't even like the first Ninja Rap. I'm usually embarrassed to hear it.

I also thought I had a fairly high crap threshold, but this managed to prove me wrong

I don't know what qualifies as "real" but when I'm flipping through channels and I come across some new release they're rapping about gangsta related activities.
And let it be known that Firefox recognizes "gangsta" as a cromulent word.

I remember when he was trying to be in a metal band for awhile and abandon the rap thing. It obviously didn't stick. He somehow got worse. I'm laughing my ass listening to this. I mean he's blasting people for out casting him and making references to the 90's. Seriously Bill Clinton?

I'm also one of many who find rap and hiphop to be absolute garbage that needs to die and disappear. But I found this pretty damn funny. Sounds more like a parody music video on MADtv than an actual real track release.

Yeah. I heard that POC when it came out... ugh. Ninja Rap 2 doesn't even mention the TMNT so there'd be no point to having it on the OST to the new movie. The only rap I like these days is Country Rap. Cowboy Troy! FTW!!
I need to hear Vanilla Ice's country rap song, Cowboy Style. That autta be a load of laughs..... Oh hey...here's a snipit....

I really hate the hip hop of the age we live in, but i like rap of 80s/early 90s.
I cannot see it embedded.
Can anybody write down the link if it is not a problem plz? Curious here.

I gotta be honest here, I'm a big big Vanilla Ice fan. I've met him several times and try to go pretty much every time he has a show in FL. As much as people love to bash the guy he really is good to his fans and very down to earth. At this point, his continuing to make music is really based on his love of music and for his niche fan following, definitely not for the money so I can respect that.
Interesting little side note, when I saw him in West Palm Beach back in November of 07 before he played "Ninja Rap 2" he said "Ya'll remember the Ninja Turtles...I still got love for the Turtles!" Even though NR2 has absolutely nothing to do with the TMNT I thought it was funny none the less (and cool that he acknowledges his past).

I'd go see him live just to say that I saw him live, but I just can't force myself to like this stuff. It is way out of my genres of choice.

What sort of activities? Most rap nowadays is about money and women, or quasi-love songs.

There's tons of rap about gang activity. I was submitted to it a lot at Best Buy when I worked there. I had a break from it till recently when I played through Saint's Row 2. Most of the time I was to adsorbed in the game itself to let the radio station bother me and I heard several rap songs about it. Hell one was even called "Gangsta Bitch" and the guy sang about how he needed a "gangsta bitch" who would go on a date with him like robbing a liquor store.
