View Full Version : Planning on making a toon accurate Karai figure

Hey All! I'm planing on making a toon accurate Karai figure. What figures should I use for this? I was thinking of "cutting" off her head and putting it on the 2003 foot soldier's body. Or will a foot tech ninja be better? I can use some help here.

Try and track down a Lady Deathstrike figure by Toy Biz, it's close to Karai's toon uniform. Foot Soldier probably isn't the best base figure for Karai, too muscular for her tiny head.

Who is Lady Deathstrike? Do you mean lady deathstroke? Is she a marvel figure or a dc figure?

I never thought of it before, but I have to agree that Lady Deathstrike would make a great base custom for Karai. As for arms, just steal a pair from a more "normal" ML character, like Mystique.

can't I just use Karai's arms from her shredder outfit and just sand off the spikes?

Depends on which Deathstrike you use. If you use the Marvel Legends one, her arms will end up really effing small. I'm sure there's one based on the 90's cartoon, though, that is more to scale with the 2K3 Karai.

I used the old 5" Lady Deathstrike body for my Karai, the head Playmates released was pretty much a perfect fit!

I remember that Karai you made, but I forgot that it was made with a Deathstrike. That is indeed a good fit!

ive been working on one using the vest thing from lady deathstrike and the old ML Elecktra body.
