Hello all -
The Super Target nearest me (Acworth, GA) is finally beginning its reset - so far, looks like for new Turtles stuff - there are some kind of mini-mutant exo-skeleton things...no new 25th anniversary figs...just thought I'd start a thread so folks could post their finds in their area...

Doing something right would have been having those out in time for christmas.
But oh well whatever, I'll prolly only get the Shredder one.

It reminded me of New Years day, 2003 (or maybe '02) - I found the 'new' at the time TMNT figures to support the new show at the WalMart nearest me - I thought that was really odd that they weren't out before Christmas - it just didn't make sense, unless Playmates was trying to tie everything closely to the release of the cartoon back then...
I was a huge fan of TMNT back in the '80s, and have just now started watching the 2003 cartoon (I have no clue why I didn't tune in years ago - I have just made it through the first season and maaaaan I really missed out)....I guess the whole 25th anniversary is really making me wax nostalgic...
I would post a pic, but I have an ancient Nokia and no camera phone, sorry....

I don't even know if they're still going to be produced at this point.

Then why the hell did they made BTTS?!

That's what I want to know! :ttwisted:
I think they could very well come out... but seems like we haven't heard anything about them, and the Global Missions line seems to have disappeared from the Playmates site.

Apparently the 25th anniversary figs are out according to some guy called 'Red' at Toymania (click on the Toy Buzz)...they are ringing up at (ugh) $8.99 each...he didn't list his location....
The hunt begins!

Are you sure that this isn't a trick?

You are probably right, but hopefully the guy will post the DCPI if it is true....

Reset or as we call it at wal-mart new mod is when they change the issles to a new format or layout.
And a Super Target is just like a Super Wal-mart because it's the same store just bigger.

Ugh, that's pretty much what they charge for the movie line at any given store. The 25 anniversary re-releases or the 25th anniversary "Comic" styles? Either way, we can clearly wave goodbye to the 5-7 dollar AF era now.

I figured on the Super Target; it was a joke, because we don't have those in this area (or Super Wal-Marts, for that matter).

You may have them but their secret identity may be so secret that not even their employees know their true identity.

I went to my Target (Regular yesterday and they didn't have any TMNT toys! There wasn't even a empty space for them. WTF!

Technically, a Super Target or Walmart are suppose to be stores which feature a large grocery section if not a full grocery store.

Went back this morning to the Super Target in Acworth, GA that I had originally mentioned, and low and behold, they were on the pegs...only reissue turtles, no Shredder, etc....the great thing about these: they fit perfectly in those old Protech protective cases that were made for Star Trek/Simpsons figures...
