While I agree that most of the Anniversary related stuff has been depressing so far, this is where the fan community has a chance to step in and shine. I'm going to post this over at my blog as well, but since not too many people know about it just yet, it'll get a double post on here...
What has been released so far:
- 'New' Cover art for TMNT 1-3 Re-release on DVD.
- LionsGate art for TMNT Season 7 (or will be in a month or two, same old art on other releases).
- packaging for Turtle Toy releases by Playmates, Classic line.
The Challenge:
Design your own Special Edition Cover art, either original art or pre-existing movie images edited in photo shop.
Design your own cover art for the 10 seasons of The Original Turtle series, or for one Complete Box Set of all 10 seasons.
- Design your own cards/box art for a Turtle Toy re-release. Or, using sculpy, create your own 'Ultimate Figure' that you would love to get re-released... (along the lines of say, Vaughn's Titantus, or Neca Wave 2 using old toon Turtle Characters)
Post 'em when you get 'em. No prize, just to show that with even minimal effort, fans can produce better products than the official people, and with probably less time spent on it :).
