NECA will not have a booth at NYCC. Feel free to discuss the various reasons why you think that might be! That's why I started the thread...cause I have no idea on that part.

Ok, I've been out of the loop for a while, I got the four Turtles and nothing else ever came out. So NECA just kinda disappeared from the radar? And Playmates popped up with their "Comic" Turtles, does all this relate?

Well besides that I enjoy their products and would have enjoyed seeing them in person on display.
I'm only really going for the Mirage crew now as I'm really not all that into other comics maybe I will see something I like though.
Is this con like San Diego? By that I mean more of a Star Wars Anime convention.:lol:

In my opinion:
The SDCC is a media convention. NOT a comic convention. SDCC has a lot more like...tv shows, video game companies, blah blah blah. NYCC isn't as contaminated by non-comic organizations. So it is more of an actual comic convention...you know...with comics.

Well it all sort of just fell into my lap I couldn't aford a place to stay but an art collector friend of mine I was talking to just happens to be going and I told her I was interested and she was more than happy to help me with a place to stay as that was the only problem.
And aww I like ya Rose and quite frankly would rather see you there than some people I'm not looking forward to seeing.:lol:

I'm sorry to hear that, and it's just a case of good luck I guess also for myself as my boss let me have the time off, I mean everyone talks so much smack on that place but they've bene nothing but good to me and asked me if I want to be full time when I get back from this trip.
So things are starting to look up a bit in my life for once.:)
I was seriously not planning on going though, I was all ready to buy a camcorder with the money I was going to spend going to the show.
So I really hope it's worth it.
