Would anyone be interested in me writing a fanfic where the TMNT (The one's from the current cartoon.) meet Link from the Legend of Zelda? (Sorry, I'm in a TMNT - Zelda mood right now. :lol: ) It could involve the Timestress from the Mirage comics (I used to have that issue until I sold it off in a garage sale when I was ten. :cry: ) so how 'bout it?

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles enter The Legend of Zelda


Prologue:




It's night, and all is well in the city of New York. Pfht, yeah right. On a lonsome street, in a dark alley, stood three men with weapons in thier hands , and a woman recoiling back.

"Look lady, give us the purse, and you won't get hurt." ordered one of the men, his black bandana blending in with the night. He held his chain in his right hand, and pulled it with his left hand. The woman screamed, but the punk slapped her.

"Shut yer yap." he said, reaching for her again. Then with a quick flash, and with a great CLANG!, the punk's chains fell to the ground, in peices. "What the...?" one of the punks said, looking around wildly. "Let's get out of here man!" said the main punk, but something in the darkness had drop-kicked him into the alley wall. Then, a wooden bo could be seen knocking another punk out, and another yelp of pain, the punks were gone.

The woman looked around, and the light overhead came on suddenly. She gasped as the punks layed on the ground, and they were all KOed. Her purse layed on the ground also, untouched. She looked around, her brown hair flying on her face. She slowly got up and picked up her purse, and ran away.

On a nearby rooftop....

"Boy, these guys never get enough, eh?" asked a figure in the darkness as he leapt across a rooftop, his figure silouwetted against the moon. He was short, bald and had a...shell? Out of the darkness, leapt Raphael, one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. His red bandana flowed in the cool wind, and he looked at his brother, Michaelangelo, who wore an orange bandana. "I don't care, these Purple Dragon scum stink." he said faltly, flipping onto a pipe and back onto roof ground. "Funny, I thought you were the one who stunk." joked Mikey, trying to catch up to Raph. "Shut yer yap." said Raph, looking at Mikey, fist clutched. Mikey laughed and went to say something, but another one of their borthers interuppted them.
"Will you guys keep it down? It's only 11 o' clock at night!" said Leonardo, who wore a blue bandana and had two kitana swords poking from behind in scabbards. "Party-pooper." said Mikey, his nunchaku bounching at his waist, and he ducked underneath a billboard. Raph jumped onto a fire-escape that was across from them, and climbed down it at lightning speed, his sai's glinting under the street light.

He pointed to below at a manhole cover in the middle of the street. Mikey and Leo nodded, and jumped to the fire escape as well. Far behind, there was another turtle coming, although he seemed busy with something. "Donnatello! Stop playing that stupid game and get going!" said Leo, sliding down a ladder. "Sorry, but it's so addictive!" said Donny, his purple bandana flailing as he lightly ran, his bo staff gently bouning left to right on his shell. He turned off the little grey machine, and stuffed it into his duffel bag, and flipped onto the fire escape from the roof. He then slid down the bottom ladder and caught up with his brothers.

They ran silently onto the street, and Leo pointed to the street lights above, and Raph threw some ninja stars at a few, blowing the lights out and covering them in darkness. Mikey opened the cover, and held it over his head. "After you madam." he said in a french voice, bowing to Raph. Raph punched him in the face, and Mikey fell backwards. "Ssssh!" said Leo, and he jumped in, as did Donny, and then Raph picked up Mikey. "What're you doing-" he was interuppted by Raph, "Have a nice fall." and he took the manhole cover from him and dropped Mikey into the hole, head first. "That's not funny!" he called from the sewer below, and Raph smirked, and slowly got onto the ladder that lead below, and closed the lid above him.

It's night, and all is well in the land of Hyrule. Pfht, yeah right. In a thick forest, near a tree stump layed a small girl with green hair, and she screamed as a dog-faced monster ran towards her with it's mighty spear held out. "Heeeelp!" she screamed, and then there was a mighty cry, and a green blur deflected the moblin's spear, and it crashed against a nearby tree.

"Who dare defy the moblins?" it asked gruffly, and he drooled by the mouth. "I do." said a calm voice, and the hero revealed himself. "You...are..." the moblin stammered, stepping back a few paces. "Name's Link. Too bad you won't be around to remember it." he said, his green Kokiri hat flowing in the wind, and few leaves brustling against his boots. He held a mighty sheild that had the Triforce symbol on it, and he held a mighty blade as well, for it was one of the most powerful swords known on this planet, the Master Sword.

"Run away!" called another moblin, and the pack started to run, but Link gave a mighty cry, and ran foward, his blade singing as he sliced the moblin in half, then he rolled foward and stabbed another in the back. The two moblins exploded into dust, and the others gave a cry of fear and thier pace quickened. Link brushed some hair out of his eyes, and walked back to see if the girl was okay. "Thank you Link." said the little girl, bowing in front of him. "Eh? Oh it's nothing." he said, smiling. He walked up to the green haired girl, and lead her through the forest. "So, what are you doing out here Saria?" asked Link after a long silence. "I was just picking some mushrooms, then the moblins attacked me!" she answered, shivering at the memory. Link laughed a tiny bit, and smiled again at her. "You know to be more careful around here." he said, patting her gently on the back.

They passed a small pond, and Saria looked at it with interest. "Link! Look! Four baby turtles!" she said, running over to it. Link followed, his boots lightly thumping against the grass. "Hmmm...they look lonely." he said, picking one up. It looked up at him curiously, then Link felt something biting his boot. He looked down to see one of the turtles was biting his boot. "Hot-head huh?" he said, patting it on it's small shell. "Here's your brother." he said, laughing alittle. And with that, Link waved to Saria, and walked off back into the forest.

Yep, I had to have each of them do something that has to do something with the other. (Confusing, yes?) I would of said that Donny was playing Zelda, but I have to make it where Hyrule did exist. :lol: So only a video game homage. :lol: Though I have no idea where the idea came from that they met the baby turtles at the pond. Just came up. :lol: Gald to hear you like it so far. :)

Chapter One:


Leo had taken off his bandana, and rested it on the table in thier lair. It was a huge room that consisted of three floors, and many rooms. In one corner was a small section that had many TVs stacked ontop of the other, and many DVDs spilled all over the ground, and a rotten couch layed across from the TVs. Mikey ran over to this, and took his bandana off and turned on the TV with a remote. Raph cracked his knuckles, and headed for his room. Donny on the other hand, was buidling something. "So you snuck to the surface again my sons?" a stern voice rang through the darkness of the room. "Ah crap." said Mikey, sinking into the couch.

"What have I told you!?" said Splinter, their sensei and mentor and father, and he wacked Leo over the head with his wooden stick he used for a cane. "I would have expected better of you Leonardo." said Splinter shamefully, bowing his head. "Sensei, I...." Leo stopped and walked away, depressed. He undid his belt and dropped it on the floor, and jumped up to the first floor of the room, and went inside his room ,and quitly closed the door. "You are all grounded." said Splinter, giving each Turtle a peircing look with his eyes, and he walked back to his own room. "Man, I wanted to see a movie!" said Mikey, kicking a DVD away from his feet. Raph merely shrugged and walked back to his own room. Donny stopped whatever he was doing, and hopped over the couch and sat next to Mikey. "You think Leo's going to be okay?" asked Donny, looking at Mikey.

Mikey just sat there with a blank look on his face. "Mikey?" Donny looked at the TV, and saw he was watching a movie. Donny grabbed the remote and shut it off. "Hey! He was about to say "Groovy!" protested Mikey, looking at Donny. "You can watch it later, I'm worried about Leonardo." said Donny, looking at Mikey. "Eh, he'll be okay. He isn't used to getting dissed by Splinter." said Mikey, patting Donny on his shell. "You have a point." said Donny, turning the movie back on.

Link had gone back to the Kokiri Village, and he entered his house, which was basically a huge tree stump. He took off his sheild and placed it on the wall with a nail, and he took off his scabbard that contained the Master Sword, and layed it near his bed. He was used to getting attacked by things at the night, so he was always prepared. He then sat down on his bed, and took out a blue instrument. It was an Ocarina. The Ocarina of Time. He played it quietly, a familiar tune that soared through his heart, and he closed his eyes as he played one of his first tunes: Zelda's Lullaby. He played it for hours on end on some days, but he only did it quickly to just relax himself.

He pulled the ocarina away from his lips, and gently placed it on the floor, next to his Master Sword. He then focused his attention back to the ceiling, and started to think. 'The peace won't last forever....what if I'm not alive to save Hyrule at that time?' he thought, scratching his forehead. 'Well, I'll have kids of my own some day, and they will uphold the family tradition.' he smirked, recalling when he and the Seven Sages defeated Ganondorf and locked him in the Dark World. 'But those words he said..."Someday, I will get out! And I will kill your descendants!".....' that thought chilled Link to the bone, but he shook the thought out of his head, and continued to recall memories of his grand adventure.

"Stupid ceptor! Your s'post to work!" yelled a woman in weird clothing, hitting a metal ceptor against a wall next to her. Then, a flash could be seen, and a dimensional hole appeared. "That's more like it!" she laughed truimpently, and jumped through the hole.

Back at Hyrule, Link had been playing his ocarina. He then started to play a tune that was powerful:The Song of Time. If he wanted to, he could make time rewind by one day, but he decided against it for now. He kept playing the tune on his instrument.

The turtles were all alseep in thier rooms, and Splinter was meditating. Then, there was a great sonic boom, and a dimensional hole appeared in the main room of the lair. The turtles were awoken, the they got thier wepons on and ran out, forgetting to put thier bandanas on. "Sensei!" called Raph, his sais in each of his hands. He looked around furiously. Splinter seemed to still be in meditation, for he payed no attention to the sound.

Then, the hole in the middle of the lair started to suck everything into it. Donny looked at it, his bo ready. "It looks like a rift in the space-time continuim!" he said, looking at the hole with amazement. "How do you know what a rift in the whatcha looks like?" asked Mikey, one of his nunchaku getting sucked into the hole. "Hang on!" cried Leo, grabbing a cement pillar next to him.

Link continued to play, then his ocarina flashed, and he stopped. "What in the name of Hyrule...?" he looked at the ocarina with a troubled look. 'I hope a curse hasn't been brought upon me.' he thought, holding the ocaring away from him.

"MIKEY!" cried Raph, trying to catch Mikey by his foot as he was getting sucked in by the portal. But he missed. "HELP!" cried Mikey, but he got sucked into the hole. "He's gone..." Raph bowed his head, and a faint tear could be seen rolling down his cheek, and it got sucked into the hole. "YOU...YOU...ARGH!" he gave a mighty yell, and let go of the pillar. "RAPH!" Leo went to grab him, only to lose his grip on the pillar, and he and Raph got sucked into the portal. "....." Donny looked at the hole, and he got an idea, and he smiled. He let go and joined his brothers in the portal.

Link placed the ocarina on the table in the middle of his home. "Ganon surely has something to do with this." he said quietly, looking at the ocarina. There was a great explosion, followed by a quick flash overhead, and Link looked above to see a great magic portal was opened above him. "By Nayru..." then, he saw four figures flying towards him through the portal. His eyes opened wide, and he saw four huge lizard-creatures fall through the portal, and right ontop of him.

The turtles were extremly dizzy, and there was a stunned silence. Link was at the bottom of the pile, and he finally spoke up,"Do you mind getting off me?"

Next time when I write a crossover, I'll try to explain the other characters history a tiny bit more.

Chapter Two


"Whoa, like, major dizzyness man." said Mikey, the world spinning around him. Donny got up and surved the area that they were in. Link looked at Donny as he got up and held his sword. "Are minions of Ganondorf!?" he asked, stepping back a few paces. Leo got up as well, and looked at Link. "Who's Ganondorf?" he asked to Link, and he pulled one kitana blade out. "If you are not with him, then we are not enemies." said Link, sheathing the Master Sword, and Leo sheathed his kitana blade. "It appears were in an ancient time..." said Donny, looking over Link's house. Then, Link was tackled to the ground by one of the turtles. "You the one who did this!?" asked Raph roughly, holding Link roughly by his green collar. Link took something out of his pocket, and threw it against the ground, and there was a great flash. Raph covered his eyes as Link rolled back once and got up.

"What your temper. I have no idea what's going on. I have no idea who you people...reptiles are." he said, looking Mikey as he got up. "Were turtles." he said, shaking his head. "Hmmm....this isn't medievil times." said Donny, noticing Link's clothes. "Ah! This must by Hyrule times." said Donny at last, hitting his hand against an open palm. "You speak like you're from the future." said Link, sitting at a chair.

"We are." said Donny, pointing at Link.

"Oh. How far ahead?" asked Link as if it was an everyday thing. Donny looked to the others and relunctantly answered, "3,000 years to be exact." he said, rubbing the back of his head. "3000 years!?!?!?!? No TV....." cried Mikey, sitting down indian-style while Leo sat next to Link and Raph leaned his back against a wall. 'This is extremly ironic. Meeting eight turtles the same day.' thought Link, leaning back a small bit. "So, how did you get here?" asked Link, looking at Leo."We were sucked into some portal or something." he answered, recalling what happened. "If were gonna figure this out, we mind as well introduce each other. My name is Link." he said, shaking hands with Leo. "My name is Leonardo." said Leo, then pointing to Donny,"This Donnatello, and this Raphael, and finally, Michaelenglo. Just call us Leo, Donny, Raph and Mikey." said Leo, as he went to fix his bandana, but he forgot he wasn't wearing one. "Hey, you wouldn't happen to have any bandanas would you?" he asked, looking at Link. "I think so." he said, looking under his bed. "Ah! Sorry, I have quite a few, but they are all red." he said, bringing out four three foot long bandanas. "Fine by me." said Raph gleefully, cutting two holes for his eyes with his sais, and he tied it onto his face. "I might have a hard time telling you apart." lughed Link as they all looked at him with thier red bandanas.

Aw man, I really wanted to see Link and Leo go at it. That duel would have been legendary. I'm really digging your story though. Right now I'm really hyped on the Turtles and Zelda.(Wind Waker is gonna rule!)
