Dripgutz collection pics!

[dripgutz24]

So I see you guys with all your awesome pictures of your collections so I figured it was finally my turn to show mine, I was having a tough time trying to post pics on here so I went through snapfish.com and I hope it works right. I took these pictures in my computer room which is all TMNT based, its a small room so it was hard to take good shots but if any of you want close ups of something just let me know. I've been collecting turtles since I was about 8 years old I can remember my grandma buying my first one I thought it was the coolest thing in the world, since everybody in my elementary school had figures and finally got mine (parents were kind of poor), but ever since then I've been hooked. I've got pretty much everything like the comics and figures except a few harder to get figures, but I think its a pretty awesome collection plus I have a whole closet full of TMNT things that aren't in the pics, my wife thinks its kinda cool but try keeping 5 and 2 year old boys out of that room and turning it upside down(I have nightmares about that), but enough with the jibber jabber. I hope this works.

Yeah I've been meaning to get that statue to, and also the leo one and I'm sure I'll never get a donatello one.

[Bigfoot]

Indeed a nice collection! I love rooms that look like toystores. I had a huge room that was wall-to-wall-floor-to-ceiling of MOC TMNT. So this is what it looks like now, condensed to 3 tables.

Why did ya have to bring down the walls?

[Bigfoot]

I am actually remodeling and tearing walls down. The dust would have been crazy. Just easier to move it I guess.

[dripgutz24]

Took a couple more pics

[Archon_Turtle]

Most impressive man. Normally I am not the biggest fan of boxed collections, but your displays rather well. :-)

[dripgutz24]

Thanks Archon, and yeah its really hard sometimes not to go ape s@@t and start ripping them apart, but I like how I can look at each individual one on the wall.

[turkishproverb]

Open them....do it...do it...

[andrewdsz]

I haven't updated my collection in quite some time now, lol.
But I have added some more photo's and will keep them coming as the days go on, but for now check them out :D

You know, that's what I say about my Elway collection. But I'm thinking my daughter will just sell it when I die. I'd like her to keep it all, but hell, what would I care, I'm dead.

Also, it'd be funny that if you were adamant about keeping them unopened, then after you die, your kids say 'You know, I wish Dad would have opened these and played Ninja Turtles with us back in the day.', wouldn't it?

I actually just did something I though I would never do. I have two Starting Lineup figures in the package. Over the past couple of days, I've opened them because my daughter wanted to play with them. It hurt, but seeing her be SO happy to play with the figures, can't beat it.

Of course, it's your collection.

Oh, and by the way, are the Playmates Cold Cast Statues REALLY that big? No wonder they're so expensive.

[TheCanadiandrome]

man most impressive collection my friend!

[Plasticplayhouse]

Cool collection. I like your giant pez and your dooney art.

[dripgutz24]

Well now they have 2 huge toy boxes full of turtle toys which is 90% of whats on my walls so i don't think i have to worry to much about that, and now there more into watching the dvd's. I'll take pics of there toy boxes later.

Also those statues are pretty beefy, i think there about 12" tall

[Shogun26]

Wow, your collection is amazing. So perty.

[dripgutz24]

Thanks for the compliments guys!!! Much appreciated!!!!

[Samhain]

Tons of great stuff right there!

[dripgutz24]

♥ the moc mini-mutant playsets! great collection dude!

[dripgutz24]

It's been a looooooooong while since I posted anything on my collection pics, so I finally started to go thru my comic collection and other certain things and as I was doing this I was taking individual pics of each item and posting it to my photobucket account, each month or so I'll add more items to this account. I like to take pics of each item individually so that if I want to look up a certain item I can or if anybody needs info on one item they can check it out. You can check out the pictures so far here http://s596.photobucket.com/user/dripgutz/library/
Or it's at http://gogreenmachine.org in the community collections section.

I have lots more to come in the coming months, It feels great to get that bug in me again to share the collection pics and also looking at collection pics here has inspired me more :-)
