Seems the UK is getting a DVD too in May:

I can't remember the exact dates off the top of my head but here's what I can remember without checking properly (sorry -- mass tired).
Tales of the TMNT each month
TMNT #30 should be very soon
Free Comic Book Day reprint of the very first comic (May)
The Mirage Universe Sourcebook
The Mirage Comics Omnibus Vol.1
The Archie Comics manga format TPB (new colors from Archie)
The Future Turtles saga TPB (published by Mirage, available July I believe, recollecting all the Future Turtles Archie material in the lead up to...)
The Forever War (the five part mini series that concludes the original Archie TMNT Adventures series, starting August I believe)
Kevin Eastman's Heavy Metal published collection (available at SDCC in July)
The original 'toon DVD 1
" DVD 2
" DVD 3
" DVD 4
Mirage Comics based TMNT action figures from Playmates
Repro original TMNT action figures from Playmates.
There's a chance NECA will get series 2 of their collector's line of figures out if they can get the funding they claim they need.
All the TMNT movies will be available on Blu-ray in August.
If you live in Australia, the original toon is coming to DVD here in April.
TMNT Smash Up on Wii should be available around the middle of the year.

Wha'?!
Any word on whether that'll be in color? If not, will it be a grayscale copy of the colored issues, or just the original black inking?
Everything else on the list is very exciting, but the Future Turtle TPB is the only thing I hadn't heard about until now.

I think it'll be grayscale. All of Chris's other stories have been...

The Mirage Comics Omnibus Vol.1
Is this the collection of issues 1-11 of Volume 1?

Along with the Leo, Mike, Raph and Don one-shots, yes.

Big collected volumes of Mirage Volume 1 is the kind of material that should be out there anyway (pretty much at all times) for the good of the comics, not just because it's the 25th Anniversary. The Sourcebook should be interesting, though, if only because it may give us some glimpse into what Peter Laird considers his personal canon in Vol. 1.
Any word if the whole omnibus really has been stripped (I actually want to use a different word there, and it begins with an "R") of tones and everything?

No, as I've said a few times, the book is all as originally presented. I was told in January that Cerebus was in there too.

Is the Fugitoid one-shot included too?
Hey don't forget the so called TMNT 25th anniversary DVD DTV. Thats gotta be on that list too. Other than that, that maybe it as far as I can tell.
About this:
The Archie Comics manga format TPB (new colors from Archie)
Is it the Archie TMNTA stuff or actual TMNT manga? Then this'd be new to most of us right? If we wish to get and read this.
I'm confused by this:
Mirage Comics based TMNT action figures from Playmates
Repro original TMNT action figures from Playmates.
Are there gonna be 2 sets of 25th Ann. figures from Playmates? They'll actually be two different lines? I thoughht it was just the old Playmates looking TMNT toys rereleased? I'm still confused if NECA is in the TMNT picture still to make that wave two set of Mirage figures. Anyone care to answer my bits?

Playmates is doing re-reales of the OT toys, and half-assed "comic book based" toys. And apparently NECA wave 3 will be out soon.

I was told by Mirage that they will be out in early spring, atleast Shredder & the Foot Soldier.

Oh yeah, that's right. What about the lettering?
TristanHuwJones
03-09-2009, 10:32 PM
Lettering is all untouched as far as I can tell. I'm looking at the FCBD interiors, which are the same as the one appearing in the omnibus, and Michelangelo is still Michaelangelo.
I'm not entirely sure about the Fugitoid one-shot, though as far as TMNT material is concerned, would you really be that bothered if it wasn't? No offense to Fugitoid fans...
DK2 -- By manga format, I mean if you collect Tokyopop books, it'll probably fit right in, in terms of size.
Also Playmates and NECA both have comics based figures ready, but Playmates are also rereleasing the classic figures. They're two different lines, although they might release one after the other instead of together... not sure.
You're right too, I'd slipped up about the DTV!

Not new dialogue, but just new lettering to correct the numerous spelling and formating mistakes that plagued early issues.
Thanks Tristan, Holy gotta see if I can get all this stuff. I didn't even order the Playmates TMNT set from the last Previews or two Previews ago. Oh yeah shouldn't the TMNTA Archie reprints TPB count as well or is that the Manga "sized" book? So is it the reprints or is it a TMNT manga comic reprints? OK I just need clarifying again.
Great to hear the Free Comic Day numbers from Mirages TMNT site that the TMNT V1 #1 orders were more than double what Mirage had estimated it'd be!
Oh yeah I forgot to say its good to know the TMNT #1 reprint and the TMNT collected book are still the orginal issues as they were. I really wasn't too worried about the Peter Laird retouches, clearly he didn't have time to redo the entire run. I didn't mind if the lettering was redone, 'cause the old early issues were a little hard to read with the letters too black thick at bits. But thats minor and not something to worry about. I can still read it.
Tristan, didn't Dan say there be a TMNT #1 colored version too? This should on the 25th Ann. list too.

That's right. Steve Lavigne is recoloring the original issue for a Christmas release I believe. The manga format book is just manga sized as opposed to regular TPB sized. There is no translation of the manga coming (as far as I know). It is just the archie material printed in a smaller presentation.

Didn't they used to call those "digests" back in the day?

I think there might still be a difference. Most of my digest books are a touch smaller. I would say Archie's Sonic collections are digests, same with the Johnny DC "The Batman" books.

Best thing to do would be go straight over to the official website and peruse the comics section. The Future Turtles stuff leading into the Forever War is all under Archie's TMNT Adventures section.
Hey Tristan, I think another anniversary project is if off this list, the Donatello solo mini series. Gee I'm being to much of a reminder, but I kept thinking theres gotta be some other stuff not mentioned. An I thought the Don series.
