You don't help your case by having a sig posing in a powder blue shirt.

Got me an April, chagned Splinters weapon and incase anyone cares I thought of a new way to arrange season 7:

I took the two discs of Euro vaction and put them in the Raph slice, then marked out the "season" and "part 4" to it just said "7" coming after volume 6.

Then after season 6 I took the discs of the real season 7 (which is part 3 and part 4) and put them in the cases of part 1 and part 2.

It's whacky, but it's the best thing I could think up.

[Dom]

Love the tshirts dude:D

[ToTheNines]

My dvd/toy collection's almost complete! I just need a Foot Soldier and a few accesories that are in the mail. And of course the remaining DVD's.

I know Operation BlueLine looks like crap next to season 1, but with the DTV and Season 8 coming out soon I can ditch it.

LMFAO what?, you spend 10 minutes aday staring at a few dvds and figures, dont you have better things to do with your time.

Don't you have better things to do with your time than going into someone elses collection thread, which they clearly are (and should be) proud of, and say such harrassing and provoking statements?

I know you are new to the Drome, but we don't do that around here.

damn, so is it worth it then?

[ToTheNines]

You still get the episodes, which is cool enough considering you can't get them at all here. And it makes the episodes easier to watch, I just wish they had put more thought into the segments that were removed.

Plus, I'm a tightwad and I don't regret the purchase at all.

Kohls has had several different shirts. The one by me has that one & a navy one (which might be in my collection thread somewhere but idk).

I have the boxers too & I got mine at walmart so try looking there.

I keep hoping that I'll find a TMNT bathing suit there one of these days but nothing yet... However, lastnight I found a dope fitted hat, its black with a neon green brim (bearing shell print) & on the front it has Leonardo's head & a voice bubble saying 'ninja time!'.

And in the middle, you'll see season's 9 & 10 of the Fred Wolf cartoon collected in one box set :P I just made it myself today with MS Paint. It's not my final product, I'm gonna make numbers a brighter color and find some better paper to print it on.

Just curious, how is the quality of your Season 9/10 episodes? Considering how bad the VHS transfer to the internet to DVD must have been.

[Jester]

To be honest, I do too. I thought I had an idea to fix season 9 and 10 with a Russian dub with good picture and the subbed version you see everywhere...but some times the audio cuts out before the episode is ove...

So what did you use? HUH!? OUT WITH IT!

[TheCanadiandrome]

ToTheNines that's lookin good dude

Sadly, they're just youtube rips. But I just don't like watching things on the computer, so it was worth it for me. Plus I really wanted to get Smash-Up off that shelf since my Wii is in the basement.

Anyways... I got this for my 20th birthday

Funny you should ask, I updated the spine just this morning to make it season say 10 only so season 9 can go in between them when I get it. But yeah, once season 10 comes I'll just get rid of it (and hopefully my Planet of the Turtleoids VHS lol).

Would you believe this is my first visit to this thread? :embarass:

You betcha. My own personal "Volume 7", as it were. I'm not so anal that I think it needs to be there, but I like having it considering the size of the bookcase I currently have these in.

And better late than never I guess :P

[twopinacoladas]

Nice collection, I ordered BTTS vol 1 and 2. Unfortunately vol 1 wont play on my DVD player it will read the disc on occasion but not boot up and I get an error (pc dvd drive). Vol 2 works but usually it takes longer to boot up than a normal dvd both are region 4. Turtles Forever region 2 works works perfectly, BTTS vol 2 works but not vol 1 its been a little annoying.

I might try a dvd cleaner or get another dvd player and hack it to play universally.

Have you had any issue with your BTTS dvd's playing? just wondering thanks =)

That sucks. Mine play great, I got a region-breaking code a while back and everything runs smoothly.

[Powder]

I love the shotglasses, I've got the ones with the turtle faces but I've never seen those before.

[adz]

It's self made boxart, the actual movie isn't really in there.

Dude that is most impressive, well done!!!
Loving your collection!

[raphfan84]

Awesome collection man, digging the boxers just picked up a pair myself!

[ToTheNines]

Thanks for the kind words folks. Got some more stuff from my collection, nothing special. Also figured I'd post some other cool (non-TMNT) stuff I have in my room.

[twopinacoladas]

My dvds are running properly now, maybe my dvd drive was just sick at the time =)

I am thinking about ordering the German TMNT 1990 movie with the extra features at some point as I'd love to see the commentary. Don't know if I'll ever get the TMNT NM as I wasn't a fan of it. Impressive DVD collection you have here tho.

[Donnie]

Really awesome collection!

[ToTheNines]

Thanks guys.
dude, let's hang out! lol! all that looks so cool

Lol, I think we'd have a pretty massive distance problem there.

I got this blanket for 5 dollars, quite a steal.

I got these at a store called Christmas Mouse in Virginia Beach a few days back.

That blanket is ill! Vintage, or "retro"?

[ToTheNines]

Retro. My local FYE is biting the big one, so a buncha stuff was going dirt cheap, this was the only Turtles item though.

[Samhain]

Im diggin' that blanket dude.

[TheCanadiandrome]

Thanks guys.

I wanted to wait till TMNT The Ultimate Collection was out, but here's my overhauled Ninja Turtles shelf.

http://i727.photobucket.com/albums/ww280/craig-5/tmntcol.jpg

Got every single episode of the OT (season 10 made by me), my homemade copy of the Japanese OAV, the original movies, The Next Mutation, bootleg copy of the first few episodes of PRIS (including Shell Shocked of course), every episode of the NT, Turtles Forever, TMNT (2007), and Smash Up.

Plus I have several comics representing different eras, starting with a copy of Volume 1 #1 and ending with the Tales Collection that featured the last chronological Mirage Universe story.

The Archie issue was printed May of 91, when I was born, but the Volume 2, Volume 3 and IDW issues are kinda just there by default.

[CyberCubed]

Hm, you might want to buy that blu-ray boxset of the movies someday. All 4 movies together and it only comes out to around $45 on amazon.

[Donnie]

Impressive collection!

Impressive collection!

Thanks man, can't wait for Nickelodeon to pump out some new stuff so I can add to it.

[CyberCubed]

Oh, I saw your DVD versions of the movies there so I thought you just had those.

I've been wondering if I should just give away the DVD versions when I get the blu-ray set...there feels like there's no point to keep both.

[pannoni1]

I'm wishing for an additional bookcase for Christmas; hoping to take a cue from this (though issues #1-4 will be always displayed!)

All those together look like a nice room (I don't have many shelves so most of my stuff is in my closet). Nice Baseball/Simpsons collections, too!

[Powder]

Agreed, very nice presentation for sure. I too need a shelving unit for DVD's & the like.

Nines, I know I'm late, but I really like how you decorate for the holidays.

[ToTheNines]

Got my Nickelodeon TMNT stickers today. Waiting to see how much I like the show before I actually stick 'em to anything.

I've had this a while but just got around to photographing it. It's a signed copy of Tales #4. Ryan Brown autographed it and did a head sketch off to the left. Addressed it to some dude named Andy.

Thanks man!

What is the very last after the movie?

That would be "Raise Some Shell" by Richard Rosenbaum. A great analysis and retrospective on TMNT. It's definitely just a place holder though, gonna replace it on the shelf asap.

Here it is on amazon if you're interested. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/1770411798/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1464740038&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=raise+some+shell&dpPl=1&dpID=41J%2BScEnb5L&ref=plSrch

So, like... is that an actual TMNT bottle stopper? Or just something on top of the bottle?

[ToTheNines]

Found some more relevant pictures. My Boxer (her name's Tiger) playing with her TMNT chew toy I picked up at five below.

Lol, it was a cap to a body wash thing. The party dude just found his way over to the whiskey/wine basket.

Ha! Nice idea, I like it. I should've figured they don't (and wouldn't) make Nick-themed wine stoppers. :trazz:

Post-holiday update of The Shelf. Got OotS and Earth's Last Stand. Also finally tracked down the Australian version of 4kids season 4 part 2, to match that up. I think it looks way better now.

Hey Nines, where did you get that Splinter, or did you make it? Also, nice display! :tgrin:

I wish I was that talented lol. It's actually an aquarium decoration from Petco. His ear was already broken off so I knew I had to buy it. For the accidental 1990 movie reference and for the fact that they'd probably never sell him damaged.

Looking good dude
