They must mean complete seasons 1 and 2. No way they fit both TMNT series into 3 discs.

Is this "Hero Turtles" or the original cut?

It is. Seasons are called Series in the UK.

Yup, here in the UK the words Season and Series are used pretty much interchangeably.

Yeah, we pretty much use what we feel like using really, don't we?

I can't wait to get my hands on my copy though!

It's the reedited version, combining TMHT with scenes of TMNT that were originally taken out. A while back, it was said that this would be a joint effort with Germany to have the English and German audio tracks available on the same discs... but maybe that's only the case for the Deutchland edition (since the provided Amazon link doesn't list audio tracks).

There's also a single disc edition coming out on May 25th.

Three episodes, but no idea yet on what episodes it will be.

Okay, I got this in the mail today :D

It's Ninja, not Hero. And it only has English audio ;)

The 4 Bonus episodes are: "The Return of Dregg", "The Beginning of the End", "Mobster from Dimension X" and "The Day the Earth Disappeared" :P

Seriously?? That's just the same as the American volume 1... How lame... You guys were supposed to be getting a 25-ep collection (no idea where they got the idea to stop in the midst of a season since 'one ep for each year' is just too obvious an answer... :P)

EDIT: Oh, I see now. Apparently the plans were changed back at the beginning of this thread, and I'm just now catching on... :embarass:

Yeah, there's the 3 disk one with season 1 & 2 that I got which claimed to have 4 bonus episodes, or the one disk one with 3 episodes on...dunno which are on that cause I haven't got that one :P

Anyone know what 3 episodes are on the single disc edition?

Thanks, too bad they didn't put all five episodes on the single disc edition, but I think I will order it.
It's a nice cover. :)

Maybe something interesting for the UK Living Guys who would like to own more than just those 22 episodes of the OT on DVD:

German DVDLabel NEWKSM has announced that they would go on with their DVD Release after their "first" Boxset including Episode 1 to 25 was such a success they're going to release 55 further Episodes on DVD -This time in chronological right Order!
The Clue: The DVDs include the Uncut US Version in english without german Subtitle and the edited german TMHT Version. When you put in the DVDs into your DVD Player you can choose to view "Deutsche Fassung" ("German Version) or "Englische Fassung" (English Version).
Each Boxset has 5 Discs, Box 3 is announced to have 6.
Box 1 was release in March 2009, Box 2 is going to be released in April 2010 and Box 3 in July/August 2010.

As gobo said earlier in this thread these DVDs are joint effort of LionsGate and NEWKSM to release the episodes in Germany on DVD.

You can view the Boxart of the Box 1 and Box 2 in my signature!

PS: It is very likely that the Episodes which were not on any US DVD (Once Upon A Time Machine, Planet of the Turtleloids Part 1 and 2) are going to be in a future Boxset - NewKSM showed me their List of available US Uncut TMNT Episodes and those 3 were on the List!

What interests me more is the complete season sets of Spider-man and X-men. The artwork is cool and well they have Spider-man! I hope the states gets that next.

Hey guys we'll trade you Ninja Turtles for Spider-man.

But don't forget you got at least some sort of a Release of the 4Kids TMNT Show, a complete series Release of The Real Ghostbusters, Thundercats, Batman The Animated Series, COPS and The Transformers!
Not to forget various Volumes of DuckTales, Chip'n Dale Rescure Rangers, Darkwing Duck or animes like One Piece, Detective Conan (Case Closed), Lupin the 3rd etc.
