I'm sure some of you are familiar with the new DC movies that Bruce Timm and others have produced, (Superman: Doomsday, JL: New Frontier, Batman: GK, and Wonder Woman), and I figure it would be great to see a TMNT DTV just like those.

An animated Mirage TMNT with all red bandanas, just for a single DTV movie that has no connection to the previous cartoons. We would have Leo/Raph actually stab Foot Soldiers, and the violence level would be similar to the new Wonder Woman DTV and the like.

Would you love to see this and what are the chances of realistically seeing something like this in the future?

I'd love it. We actually did get close to it a year or so ago with that cancelled CGI adaptation of the first issue.

Much rather just have Bruce Timm working on Ninja Turtles than any of that.

EDIT: Btw, make that multi-color bandanas and that sounds pretty good.

I've said this quite a bit, I'd love a ultra stylized animated TMNT movie, in black, white, and red (for bandannas and blood). I think it'd be awesome!

It would be awesome. But I have a feeling we will never get it.

Let someone take a stab at it like that GI Joe cartoon on Adult Swim. I'd be all for that. You could probably fit most issues of the comic into 11 minutes, anyways.

I'd love to see that happen

Sounds like a great idea and also to test the waters for a more mirage accurate movie.

That'd be pretty sweet. Although I disagree that most comics would only take 11 miutes. It'd be more like 15 to 20 minutes.

Maybe we could see it as a tie in to the new movie, since the new movie might be closer to the comics.

It should happen as a direct to DVD with Bruce Timm directing and Pete overseeing the plot.

Good times will be had by all.
