Who do you think did better job replacing the Shredder as the main antagonist in the two cartoons.

Bishop was a sadistic motha 'ucka. No disrespect to the late Tony Jay, but Dregg was lame in comparison. Still woulda loved an action figure of him v.v

Bishop, I swear I hated Dregg so much. Not because he was made to be such a good villan, but because he was so dull and boring.

Dregg was a pathetic excuse for an antagonist. They should have used Karai or someone else inspired by the comics.

Dregg was a maniacal warlord bent on galactic domination, he drained the life out of the 4 turtles, Krang and a bit of shredder.
He betrayed his own henchman Hi-Tech and sent him into space for hundreds of years.
He captured April and was going to turn her into a cyborg.
He got the people of NYC against the turtles and gained their trust using the cities money and facilities.
Was going to transport small sections of our sun into our cities.
Betrayed his second henchman Mung and took his microbots from him.
Tricked several bounty hunter aliens into fighting the turtles to see how skilled they are only to take drain them of their lives and put it into his own body.

Bishop works for the government, experiments in cloning, hates mutants and aliens, experimented on Leatherhead, employs Baxter never harming him the way Shredder did, he fights along side the turtles to destroy demons, then he becomes the president in the future befriending the turtles, and saving Baxter's life and gives him a new body, helps Cody and Serling stop Viral, and the last we see him he's watching April & Caseys wedding from a screen.

So yeah I went with Lord Dregg no contest in my book.

Dregg was actually a pretty good villain. He may not have been the best choice to replace Shredder, but he served his purpose well.

But, yeah. Bishop was a really interesting villain and one of the 4Kids cartoon's greatest contributions to the Turtles mythos.

Dregg was extremely generic. They almost had something going with him becoming more and more insane and obsessed with the Turtles, but it wasn't emphasized enough.

Yea he does resemble agent Smith from the matrix films, But Bishop is more of a sinister version of the men in black.

Bishop - the fact that he wasn't exactly a villain made him far more interesting. That, and he could fight like a lightning bolt.

As far as the Matrix comparison goes, I find it amusing that Bishop has New Orleans roots and that Agent Smith has an accent somewhat similar to the region (although I could be way off here, just what I imagine to be a southern accent).
