Question about the original cartoon..

Ive seen screenshots of wingnut/screwloose and wyrm in the old series and i own all the dvds up to date but havent seen em... do those both happen to be lost episodes? and was there ever one with ace duck?

Wingnut and Screwloose are the primary villains in a fifth season episode.

Wyrm only appeared in animation in a toy commercial.

And Ace Duck appeared as a character on the Turtles' television in a (I think) second season episode.

I really think that because they didnt include current toys as they came out in the show, it lead to the staleness of later seasons.

Some of the most exciting episodes where when a new toy character would show up. And of course that would have spurred toy sales.

Transformers did this. GI JOE did not until it was produced by DIC.
