The OT has a lot of episodes and most episodes don't have talkbacks. I only did the first two seasons. I am sure a few episodes of other seasons have talkbacks as well. So if you want to make a thread for an episode first click on Search and select "advance search", in keywords type the name of the episode and select "search titles only". You can also click on "search in General TMNT forum". If there is a thread that discusses that episode (it doesn't have to say necessarily need to say talkback or discussion) just post there if theres not just make a new thread.

To have "nice" looking talkbacks and some consistency you can just copy the format from below and steal the image its hosted on imageshack:

http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/3469/logoanim.gif
Episode #X "Episode Name"
Original Air Date: Month Day, 19XX

Synopsis (I grabbed the short one from Wikipedia)

Episode Synopsis and other info
(http://www.ninjaturtles.com/cartoon/guide/)(just link to the episode you are making a talkback about)

That would be the "pretty in pink" Volume 6
http://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-Original/dp/B000IJ79UM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1255542587&sr=8-1

Not to be confused with "Season" 6.

Thanks, they've been added. Its definitely harder to find discussions of OT, for the 2k3 it was airing so most if not all of them have it. The fact that so many episodes can also be considered "fillers" and not worthy of people making threads about them doesn't help, but its a nice archive for the forum to have. If I had the time I'd make discussions for more episodes but I also wouldn't want to clutter the forum with discussion threads no one wants to post on and bump everything else to page 10 heh.

I've noticed that when people discuss the OT separately they usually do it in seasons, I remember a discussion thread about Season 7 and a few about the "red sky" seasons. I also remember when the OT DVDs were coming out people would discuss the episodes in the DVDs as they watched them in the DVD thread, maybe it'd be best if I link to those threads instead of having a big list with no links?

Yes thanks for everyone who has helped, feel free to make threads on ones that don't have threads and if you find any other ones while searching through the forum or have extra time to search for them and find them be sure to post them here. It'd be nice if one day all episodes have a thread.

Yeah, I wanted to avoid repeat threads which is why I started the thread. And while I try to update the thread I'm not active all the time here, I take hiatuses from time to time so thanks for those who keep the thread updated, I do edit the links when I have time if they're in the thread and any that I may find while browsing.

Having all episodes have a talkback with such a large series is difficult (especially forgettable episodes) also doing it without cluttering the forum just making threads for the sake of making threads.

What eps are recommended and/or must see ?

All of season 1, probably all of season 2 (maybe skip New York's shiniest).

Most of season 3 is great, but since it's so long I'll hit you with my favorites:

Beneath These Streets, Turtles on Trial, The Maltese Hamster, The Old Switcheroo, Burnes Blues, Enter the Rat King, The Ninja Sword of Nowhere, 200000 Leaks Under the Sea, Take me to Your Leader, Cowabunga Shredhead, Return of the Fly, Casey Jones: Outlaw Hero, Corporate Raiders from Dimension X, Beware the Lotus, Leatherhead, Usagi Yojimbo, Usagi Come Home, The Making of Metalhead, Leatherhead Meets The Rat King, The Grybyx, ShredderVille, and The "Big Triology"/season 3 finale'.

If you liked those episodes enough, I'd recommend finishing season 3. Seasons' 4, 5, and 6 are pretty rough, but there's some gems hidden in there. Season 7 was mostly excellent. Red Sky seasons were.... uninspired.

There are tons of excellent episodes in Seasons 4, 5 and 6. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. For the few duds there are there are tons of excellent episodes surrounding them.

The worst "season" was the European Vacation eps. Other than those every season is worth watching.

Yesterday I watched :

-Slash episode
-Mutagen Man
-Rhino Man

They were all right , I didnt care for the Venice episode though.

Casey Jones is always a treat and the Rat King/LH episode was decent too.

Hey there!! :) April's Fool is on Disc 3 of the complete set or Volume 3 of the individual discs.

Others of note (some may not be what you're looking for:

Green With Jealousy (Volume/Disc 4): Krang and Shredder put a love potion on three pizzas and three Turtles fall in love with Irma and she has no idea who her admirer is so she plans to get married.

Beware the Lotus (Volume/Disc 5): a female ninja named Lotus becomes Leonardo's love interest despite being on the wrong side of the law.

Raphael Meets His Match (Disc 9/Season 4 Disc 3): Raphael tangles with and later joins forces with a female mutant as they struggle to save a yacht party from the clutches of Captain Filch and his army of sea monsters.

Poor Little Rich Turtle (Disc 10/Season 4 Disc 4): Michaelangelo has a crush on Buffy Shellhammer, a real brat who Shredder is targeting because of her knowledge of Shellhammer chemical's secret formula.

Atlanti Awakes (Disc 20/Season 7 Disc 4): the Turtles team with a new friend Merd - Aleem to help save Atlanis and their princess from King Bebop and the approaching threat of the Technodrome, after their energy source.

The Neutrino appearances (Volume/Disc 1, Volume/Disc 2, Volume/Disc 6, Season 4, Disc 4/Disc 10 and Season 7 Disc 3/Disc 19) count as well with Michaelangelo having a crush on Kala.

I think these talkback threads exist as a convenient way to have discussion on a particular episode, thus it shouldn't be taboo to restart conversation on one that may have lain dormant for a while.

2. Which episode(s) were released on those tapes

I'm mainly interested in the first 2 seasons but maybe others are interested in knowing the rest as well...? I would assume they came out in some order relating to when they originally aired, but maybe they didn't. Maybe a couple were released at the same time? Maybe some eps were skipped?

Any info would be much appreciated!

The VHS eps tapes were not in order after Season 1. They usually took 2 random episodes and slapped them together.

23 discs all watched from the van. Hm.. Time to watch disc 1 again.

I have to be honest, I was not too impressed with S9 and S10. Though the very last episode wasn't too bad. I did like the return of the Krang Android Body.

After just typing this, I've recalled S9 to give it another viewing. Maybe it's not as bad as I thought it was.

If you can get past the fact that the Turtles are still being made out to be bad guys and Dregg is made out to be a friend from the stars, not to mention the unstable mutations and Carter, then it's not so bad. :) The action is still as good as Seasons 7 and 8 and they're trying to be funny again.

You can get the whole series for less than $70 on amazon. Of course you would have to buy the individual season sets. The Turtle Van full series set is rare now and will go for above $100 at this point.

Does anyone know if Krang's body was seen again after Kranginstein lives sans Divide and Conqur? Didn't it show up in Super Irma or could that ep have been aired out of order? Trying to get some sense of chronology as I watch the OT during this tmnt 2012 s2 hiatus. Great to own all of these so I can see my favorites whenever I like. Krang's android body was seen again in the next episodes, "Super Irma" and "Adventures in Turtle-Sitting", after "Krangenstein Lives" and would be seen throughout the sixth and seventh seasons. The last time it was seen before "Divide and Conquer" was way back in the seventh season finale with "Shredder Triumphant!" when Krang fled with Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady in the pickup truck.

For some inexplicable reason in the eighth season premiere "Get Shredder!" (the start of the Red Sky seasons), Krang doesn't have his android body anymore as was last seen in "Shredder Triumphant!", but uses the bubble walker, and continues doing so throughout Season 8 and when he appears in Season 10. I guess the viewer has to speculate as to how and why the transfer was made.

Thanks! I thought so because those trademark wering noises of the mechanical legs/arms in the bubblewalker weren't present in Super Irma. Makes sense that he would have repaired his body after it's little sojourn.

Irma's last name Langinstein is never mentioned in any episode, though its believed to appear on a few scripts/production materials which I haven't seen. However, of the dozen or so scripts of the OT I have, none mention her last name.

Haven't gotten that far, but I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not the last 2 seasons were in their proper chronological order on DVD. Or will I have to flipflop episodes when I get to seasons 9 and 10? I'm not that familiar with those 2 seasons, but isn't there a bit more continuity involved? Actually seasons 8, 9, and 10 all have stronger continuity compared to seasons 3-7, where the events of one episode depend on the previous episode's outcomes. It's not "hard" continuity where you would feel lost if you randomly chose an episode from within each of those seasons, but watching them in order will make more sense as things develop (i.e. the Super Mutations, Dregg becoming more obsessed in defeating the Turtles rather than taking over the world, Dregg influencing humanity's opinions of him, etc.)

Yeah the Nick show does have some lame pizza comedy, repetition and a slow story but at least it tries to have decent comedy, variety and a story. It might be a little lame that Parasitica and Pizza Face are basically different takes on the same basic idea with the same character or that the Mutagen Man arc seems to have been shelved for at least 18 episodes just to make room for mutant zits, pizza monsters, DnD parody and a body switch episode. But you know, at least it's not 25 random episodes that lead nowhere either in story or character development with a sudden Technodrome attack for episode 26 and then another 25 random episodes ending the 26th as a Technodrome episode...

Its the other way around for me. I love the animation style, with painted backgrounds, love the designs and the quirkiness of it. The show realy shows everything that was cool about the 80s, it has originality, uniqueness and its just whacky and bizarre. Its like Bizzarro's World, thats what I love about it. Like in Turtles Forever cartoon, the 03 turtles said this 80s world is weird and odd, and thats precisely why i love it. its designs, feel, everything is so crazy and downright surreal. The technodrome - Death Star with a big eye, krang - a brain in a stomach of a fat guy looking like the mutated guy from Goonies with 80s techno sunglasses, its all great, its all bizarre, I enjoy the insane surrealism of it all. And Shredder is the cream of the crop, i love his visual design and i love the fact that (intentionally) he does resemble Darth Vader and they also voiced him with a black actor.

its simply a lot of fun, even for an adult, and especially for art fans, such as myself, i love the art of older cartoons, especially the good old max fleisher cartoons, and tmnt resemble that a bit with the background work. Im a big fan of that animation style

the 03 series, ah, its just not my thing, its trying to be serious and just looks ridiculous by doing so, for me. Its insanely generic, it looks and feels like any other nick show, theres no whackiness, originality or anything fun or special about it at all, but im glad and ill give them credit for the fact that they tried to go their own way instead of just copying the original classics. Im giving them thumbs up for going their own way, which in itself is interesting because it creates an existence of two very different interpretations of the same mythology. I also dislike that generic, blocky, squarish manga-like style animation, its personally not my thing

I've watched a few episodes of both the 2k3 and Nick TMNT and honestly the 80's OT just seems to win out the most for me. Both versions are good in their creativeness, voice acting skills, and even had some decent story plots. And maybe I'll grow to truly enjoy all three versions of TMNT.

But the 80's TMNT version just feels 'right' in it's own way for me as well.

The things I loved about the OT were all of Krang's gadgets and the might of the Technodrome, even though it was always trapped somewhere. I fell in love with that fortress from day one. The turtles were in first place but I loved the main villains in that show quite a lot. Still do in fact.

I loved the show as a child and thought it was the best thing ever. The cartoon seemed more serious to me when I was 12. I thought it was an action cartoon with some comedy in it. I don't love it as an adult. I don't mind that it was really a comedy with some action. A lot of episodes haven't aged well. I think seasons one, two, three, seven and eight were the best (I still like some episodes from other seasons, though). The cartoon was an inconscient show. There were too many episodes made and it could've been condensed into 5 seasons. It has aged better than other shows such as Sonic SatAM and Spider-Man, though.

I like its version of Raphael, Casey, Shredder, Rat King and Leatherhead. There are annoying catchphrases and too many pizza jokes. I don't like Zach. Dregg was an okay villain, but he seemed to be evil for the sake of being evil and didn't have much of a personality (I liked him better in season 10, though). I like the minor characters like Big Louie, Barney Stockman and Buffy Shellhammer.

I like that the show doesn't take itself too seriously. The 2003 cartoon did that too often. Krang and Shredder's banter is still funny (they really do act like a married couple). I think half of the episodes are still enjoyable to watch, but the good is far outweighed by the bad in seasons 4, 5, 6 and 9. I haven't watched most of the episodes for years, though, since only some DVDs are available in Ireland, but I thought a few episodes on the Cowabunga Classics dvd were somewhat boring to watch as an adult such as The Turtles and the Hare.

The standout moment on the show for me was Shredder blowing up the Channel Six building, but I prefer the 2003 cartoon. The OT was a product of its time, but parts of it still hold up well. I watched it every now and then from the early 1990s to late 2000s on RTE Two, so it's not down to nostalgia that I like the show. It's one of those guilty pleasure type shows like Charmed and 2 Broke Girls.

Why did the Original toon end? or even the 2k3 series for that matter...

It's not known for sure but it's said the USA decided to make children's TV more educational when the 1987-1996 TMNT cartoon ended. Also the itnerest for TMNT was declining by the mid-1990's.

The 2003-2009 TMNT cartoon especially became popular among fans but when the toys didn't sell well it changed after four seasons to "Fast Forward", "Ninja Triibunal" and "Back to the Sewer". It probably didn't help and also in mid-October 2009 Nickelodeon purchased TMNT.

07-06-2016, 07:24 PM
Simplest explanation is that shows cost money to make and if there's no profit then the show gets cancelled. The OT peaked in popularity in the early 90s and Power Rangers basically killed it off so it was on life support pretty much after that, it's surprising it lasted as long as it did if you think about it and eventually it just wasn't worth it. 2k3 was also extremely lucky of being Laird's baby, being on Fox Box and being one of 4K!ds few original productions and not anime dub and kept getting renewed and got a second life with the 2007 movie. But like the OT once toy sales lowered and the other factors weren't good enough to keep it on it also got the axe.

The original cartoon was one of the longest lasting cartoons in existence. It made 193 episodes and 10 seasons.

Its pretty much the longest running action cartoon ever made. The only American based cartoons that went on longer are adult comedies like Simpsons, Family Guy or stuff like Spongebob.

If you're speaking of cartoons and not anime, I can't think of any action show running longer than TMNT.

Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon has over 100 episodes but not 193. None of the DC or Marvel cartoons went on for that length.

It's not an action cartoon, not really. It might have been the original intention but that was changed as early as season 2 and it was pretty much a comedy pretending to be an action show from then on.

So yeah, I'd say SpongeBob and Fairly Odd Parents has beaten it in it's genre, the genre that it actually is. Then you look at stuff like Scooby-Doo and Super Friends (the latter of which is an action show) that basically just kept changing it's name every season, but were otherwise still the same show and still lasted pretty damn long. Then there's of course a modern example of that, Ben 10, which lasted 230 episodes.

So yeah, if you count action shows that changed their names over and over again, Ben 10 has 230 episodes without any reboots which means that it would beat out TMNT by 37 episodes.

Even though I already own the earlier releases, they're cheap enough I'm thinking of buying them anyway just to save on shelf space, but I can't find any info about them online, and the packaging doesn't mention any special features.

So my question is, does anyone here know if those releases have the same discs as the earlier Lionsgate releases, or do they remove the special feature interviews or anything to justify the cheaper cost?

Assuming you mean throwing on random episodes, less lately due to focusing on new turtles media, that's for sure. I rewatch the show roughly every 2-3 years, and I go in order and never skip an episode.

I'm not a fan of watching random eps out of order anymore, I used to do that when I was younger but then I realized I was only rewatching my favorites and had forgotten most of the other episodes, so I don't do that.

Watch all 193 episodes back to back...it only takes about 2-3 months if you watch at least 3-4 episodes a day.

I have been goin through the the 2k3 series recently but find myself wanting to watch the OT even though I just finished it like 3 months ago

It's not an action cartoon, not really.

I disagree completely, TMNT has more in common with shows like He-Man than comedy oriented shows like Sponge Bob. Even the zaniest episodes have a villain that needs to be beaten.

I rewatched the whole show at least 10 times, some episodes countless times but only because I was a kid when it aired and watched reruns of it on TV all the time in the 80's and 90's.

Rewatching episodes for a series of re-write fanfics. Having a blast adapting them (only adding a few extra plot points and changing up the dialogue , they're more or less fine on their own)

Something similar happened with the 2003 cartoon when it aired in Ireland, as some episodes from the 1987 series would be shown instead and the 4Kids series was often called Hero Turtles in the tv programmer listings. It didn’t help that both shows are on RTÉ Two at the same time in the mid 00s.

I never understood it, but in the United States the 1987 cartoon has not aired since September of 1997. As popular as it was it never returned to this day. That is why the tv programmer listing giving 1987 episode information is so glaring. I believe the above is yet another incident of this.

Just finished watching "Bebop and Rocksteady Conquer The Universe" for the first time in years. A really strong story where the two moronic mutants actually display genuine wit and ambition, getting an advantage over the Turtles and their own bosses.

It's a bit more generic and light on development with Zach though, I mean, the thing with the bullies at the start isn't exactly resolved outside of Leonardo just hoping they leave Zach alone after he's featured on the news...and even then, Zach is wearing a mask when April profiles him, so how's he supposed to be recognised?

I streamed "Turtles At The Earth's Core" and "Corporate Raiders From Dimension X" on Paramount last night.

The former still holds up as one of my favourites from the third season, the lines are great ("sure thing Banana"), and anytime Krang gets to do more than sit in the Technodrome and nag Shredder is OK with me. Wish we'd see more of the Fortress....or even the dinosaur world, it's just never seen again after this.

This is the logical adult in me talking, but wouldn't April have been skewered by that Pterodactyl's feet at the end there?

"Corporate Raiders" is a fun time mostly for Casey's psychotic antics, but often I wonder just how Shredder was planning to raise the Technodrome without a clearly defined means? If it was the hydraulics that were supposed to raise, why did the Octopus Inc droid with the water raise instead? That wasn't explained at all. Unless they replaced it with the Technodrome in the design specifications they were looking over.

I recently began rewatching the OT, but I started at season 8, the first Red Sky season. As a kid, I remember really loving Red Sky, and as an adult it's no different. Definitely my favorite part of the OT; I always loved the change up in art style and the alternate theme song.

I plan on rewatching the OT in chronological order one day, but for now, I'm enjoying the Red Sky seasons as a stand-alone arc.

Speaking as someone who just finished watching the show through for a third time I agree, i'm with Mark Pellgrini in thinking the red sky era was the shot in the ass this show needed to stay relevant. I'm thinking of seeking out other 90s toons with a similar somewhat dark tone(I quite enjoyed that Savage Dragon series that aired on USA Network).

Brainstormed this project just this morning and wanted to run it by you guys

I want to cut season four of the show down to just thirteen episodes and cap it off with a finale that is made up of the openers of seasons five and six, and "Shredder Triumphant", the finale from season seven, so it's similar to how season three ended with the "Big" trilogy with the Technodrome constantly changing location.

The episode order I've structured for the 'Reshelled' season four are as follows

1. Plan 6 From Outer Space
2. Tower of Power
3. Slash, The Evil Turtle From Dimension X
4. Four Turtles and A Baby
5. The Dimension X Story
6. Son of Return of the Fly 2
7. Raphael Meets His Match
8. Splinter Vanishes
9. Farewell, Lotus Blossom
10. The Foot Soldiers Are Revolting
11. My Brother, The Bad Guy
12. Rock Around The Block
13. Shredder Triumphant

Agree with the list? Disagree?

I'm also thinking of restructuring season three and whittle it down to just 13 episodes.

Can’t argue with that at all. There’s some hidden gems in season 4 that would be missed, but for a plot-centric 13 episode arc, I’d say you nailed it.

For the sake of discussion, what made you choose Tower of Power over Rust Never Sleeps?

Don’t both of the Paris episodes act like they’re just getting to Europe? I don’t remember.

Per my memory, they’re not compatible. So your list would be better off picking one or the other.

Now that I’m really thinking about it, I think “Tower” is the better episode and does tie more directly into “Plan 6”, even if it also contradicts it with a reworked scene of them reading the letter from Greasy Eddie’s Pizza.

Outside of nostalgia on my part, “Rust” also gets points for having Avery voice Shredder. Not that Cummings was bad, but he’s still an alternate.

Dr.Spengler’s list on TMNTEntity. https://tmntentity.blogspot.com/2025/03/updated-tmnt-1987-cartoon-viewing-order.html?m=1

He basically orders them in a way that makes geographical sense for them to start in France and end up back there in “Orient Express”.

If I were to whittle down the show you could remove most of the mad scientist eps aside from a few of the better ones, and some of the weaker Shredder/Krang scheme eps. But even then I think my version of the show would still have over 100-130 episodes in it (out of 193), there's still too many eps I enjoy too much to be cut.

If we apply the anime fan definition that anything that doesn't further the plot or introduce something/one that is used later in plot driven episodes is filler then we could probably cut it down to a 45 episode series, on average each season only has around 5 episodes relevant to the plot.

CyberCubed
07-27-2025, 09:16 PM
I mean, Season 1 is still basically the entire show.

You realize every season after the first is just essentially a re-tread of the same Technodrome plot and Shredder/Krang trying to do the same exact thing they were doing in Season 1. The first 5 episodes basically reflect the plot of the whole series. Only thing you'd lose is the recurring villains like Baxter as a fly, Leatherhead, Rat King, etc.

I realized a long time ago Season 1 basically is the plot of all 10 seasons in just 5 episodes.

As sad as that is, yes it is more or less true. When the biggest changes to the status quo are where the stupid Technodrome gets stranded, it really doesn't matter much which episodes you watch and in what order. If you replaced the exterior shot of the Technodrome being anywhere but Dimension X with one showing Dimension X, then you could probably skip most episodes about it being relocated or where it's current position is plot relevant and your biggest question would probably be why Shredder keeps using a burrowing vehicle to get around.

"Big Blow Out" was to the Technodrome what the arc that led to "Return to New York" was to the Shredder in Mirage and 4KIds, arguably the stories that highlighted them both at their best and featured their most cataclysmic defeats, and that really is when both should have been both written off.

Yeah “The Big Blowout” rules. I do wish the two episodes leading up to it were a little better.

I’ll disagree about 4kids RTNY. It’s a major letdown in comparison to Mirage, plus Exodus was pretty badass.

I vaguely remembered The Big Break-in as a kid other than Krang fighting Donatello and Michelangelo with spiked bolos; mainly since he never fought them directly in his body that often. But I actually love that one and Blowout due to the danger of the Technodrome moving and finally being on the surface.

I didn't really grow up witht he 1987 cartoon as a kid, I only got to see a few episodes, not too many, but I did rewatch my 2 burger king vhs tapes all the time. So I really think I "saw" the OT for the first time when it stated to SLOWLY release DVDs in the mid 00s (remember it was like 10 episodes per year!).
I was surprised by how fun season 1 was, take into account I was a teenager so I wouldn't have praised just any slop. When Season 2 came out I was also surprised by how much continuity it had, one of my first posts in this forum was asking if season 3 was similar to which they replied "no". So yeah I was bummed watching S3 and having to wait basically a year for another batch of season 3 episodes, I mean I found each volume had memorable episodes but i did miss the continuity from the first two seasons. And them boom, the Big trilogy finale, I was so excited to see something with stakes actually happening.

Then season4 happens, it's just as long as Season 3 but with 0 pay off, it makes that season feel worse because there's no opener or ender. I think S5 & 6 also don't have any finales but at least since they're smaller seasons it's not as annoying.

This goes hand in hand with why I feel like you could curate a NECA collection that basically represents the show well enough if all you bought were the figures that came from the season 1 mini-series.

But just the character diversity and army building alone from season 1 is a large collection.

The six main "good guys" +1 for Hamato variant of Splinter
The four main "bad guys" +1 for Krang's Android Body
Army builder Foot Soldiers & Roadkill Rodney's
Army builder Rock Soldiers
Traag and Granitor
The Neutrinos.
Any standard human (including B&R's gang figures).
Channel 6 Crew
The Van
The City Scene
The Neutrinos Car (if NECA makes it)

But the definitive collection would be maybe 40 to 50 figures just representing that S1 mini and that's it depending on the size of the "army builders" you'd have. Sure, maybe a Casey Jones, Zach or Rat King if you must have him, but basically most other characters after that S1 mini are generally "mutant of the week".

I did some checking and the third season episode "The Gang's All Here" is only seven episodes removed from "The Big Blow Out", which was the last episode of the OT to air on BBC ONE, we never got the remaining seasons on free-to-air linear TV, so it's little wonder I came away from "Gang" thinking Mikey had gotten a relationship upgrade at the end as a kid (and wondering how Kala would have felt)

That might be kinda tough, I seem to remember a lot of filler episodes ending with some important development with the Dark Armor.

A 'supercut' of all the moments referring to the armour build up might suffice, tagged into anything where it's more the focus as 'flashbacks', A.I voicing could help with summarising things.

Creating that shortened fourth season left me itching to do more, so I'm announcing a new fan-edit that will serve as the sequel to "The Epic Begins"

I present "The Epic Continues", which will amalgamate four episodes of season two into a feature length film, those episodes are

1. Return of the Shredder
2. Enter: The Fly
3. Teenagers From Dimension X
4. Return of the Technodrome.

While working on "The Epic Continues" I took to re-editing a few individual episodes of the old show as well, yesterday I did "Return of the Technodrome", which basically contains all the ideas I'm using for "The Epic Continues", and today I've been working on a cut of "My Brother, The Bad Guy" that removes the Kojima Brothers B-plot and reworks the episode as a season finale rather than a season premiere, using footage from "Shredder Triumphant".

ZariusTwo
09-16-2025, 07:00 AM
I also took Season Five's "My Brother, The Bad Guy" and turned it into a season finale, I ditched the Kojima Brothers Hologram b-plot, allowing me to pad everything else out with footage from season seven's "Shredder Triumphant", but to keep it to the standard TV length I removed all of the Turtles struggles in Dimension X and had them AWOL for the second half of the episode, allowing the focus to be on Channel 6, the villains, and Splinter. The Turtles still show up at the end and trick Shredder into returning them to Earth, and you don't feel like you're missing anything because the Turtles explain what they got up to when last we see them in the episode.
