1st post! :) about Krang or Technodrome!! in New show

hey there i'm a newbie here been a fan since the 1st series in 89, been reading this fourm for months just was to lazy to register :-P lol but here I am, now I got one pig peev with the last two new series, why are we to forget there was KRANG OR THE TECHNODROME, we all outta start a new online patition and see if we can get that added or somthing to lead up to it in the the coming seasons thats if there is a season 2! lol which I kinda have faith there may be, fox is pretty fair with giving not that tmnt is a crappy show but a slugish ratings another shot a season 2 which we dont look to be that bad off to say we are lol anyways i'm glad to be here and post more but I am so into krang and the techodrome I hope they bring it back and if they do give krang a backround and keep him more to the character he is or some how lead to him being a brain we all love then be some person lol, or watch the techodrome be some building or a beefed up not cool looking thing? anways I better shut up but if u know todays standards u know what i mean tty all later

It was okay for the original series, the characters, situations and stories were more suitible for settings like the technodrome, and characters like Krang, bebop and rocksteady!

I mean, there will probably be "Brain" creatures in this series, the TCRI aliens (on wich Krang is based) but I dont think much of the old series should be brought in to this

1: I don't see where they would come from, and more mutants would make the Turtles less special.

2: If you had them work for the Shredder, they wouldn't last more then one episode, since we know what he does to people who fail him...

Well considering that there are going to be next to no Mutants, they wouldn't work. Now if they named 2 of the PD members Bebop and Rocksteady, that'd be kinda cool, but as for mutants.

No they wouldn't fit, nor is it possible in any other way. But there are over 160 episodes with them involved, buy them, don't try to change the new show to the old one.

:cry: Yes, Krang,Rocksteady and Bebop were great. They made us laugh and get mad. They were not angry silly mutants BUT we have discussed it many many times that we must accept the new cartoon as is. It's a new start, new turtles, everything is new. Certainly we will feel bad if we compare these two cartoons. Those old TMNT will always be on our minds( on my mind anyway) but we don't have to wait some old stuff in the new show. I miss Krang and Bebop sometimes but they would spoil everything. Just look at our turtles? do they look like guys with whom you can play a game? No! They have changed. And Shred is a real villain not a simple guy in armor trying to steal some fuel for the Technodrome. Let's just keep Krang in minds but don't think of him when you watch the new show. We've been waiting for the new show since 1996. Let's enjoy it people :evilgrin:

No i didn't say that Bebop & Rocksteady should be in every single episode because this is Mirage's turn to tell their stories but they can't adapt all the mirage stories forever one day there going have to get a pen and computer and go "what now?"

I think that the person who came up with the idea of mutagen and that it turns an animal or human into whatever thing they lost had in contact with or touched is the most brilliant idea ever. And it dosen't feel stupid or not special or unique there were mutants in the show. I loved it as a kid and i love it still today.

it's not that we hate the idea, it's just that the mirage comics had only a few mutants which showed hgow rare and special they were. the archie series, and the cartoon had mutants left and right which kinda took away from the rarity of thr four turtles

and krang, bebop and rocksteady should never appear in the new show, it'll wreck the new show.

oh, and to the beginner of this thread, please please read some mirage comics, they are the true tmnt

The new cartoon isn't a direct adaptation...

Anyways, even if for some reason Peter and 4Kids wanted to used Rocksteady, Bebop, Krang, and the Technodrome the couldn't. As Karpo and I have said multiple times... Artisan owns the rights to those characters.

Yeah. Thats what I'v been for a long time. They won't ever be it. Perioid. And Like everyone have been saying, in Mirage, the TMNT are special. In the old cartoon and archie they aren't. That's the main reason why Mutants in every episode won't work in this show.

Yeah really, they are 2 different shows, let this one be what it is, and the other one be what it was. they are both geat for their own reasons, but they are seperate shows.

I agree but, If they were to work Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady into the new show. Krang as a rouge Utrom and Bebop and Rocksteady as human PD members are great Ideas but I don't see them using it.
Personally, I miss the Neutrinos terribly but I think that the "Closer to original Mirage" approach is very enjoyable and would be ruined if the old show interferes.
Besides Krang overshadowed Shredder as "main villian" too much anyway.

i really dont think bebop or rocksteady could be in the new show. With shredder being a real villian now instead of a pussy he would kill them for faliar. And the new shredder would sit and take orders from a little brain. They were cool and improtant in the old show but it wouldnt work in the new one

I agree, the tone has changed with the new one.....it's darker and less goofy. Besides, the last thing we want is Bebop and Rocksteady actually beating the Turtles in a fight....now that would just destroy all the good old childhood memories....
