Reunited and it feels so good...
:)
Nice to see it's for a very good cause too.

It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.

Well, it doesn't sound like they really interacted. Eastman just penciled it up, sent it to Laird for inking and Lavigne colored it after that.
They've "reunited", I suppose, but in the loosest way possible.

The fact that Kevin will be on the TMNT 25 panel at SDCC was Footnoted a while back... But, I wasn't expecting this. :)

I really wish they could put any differences aside and bring us some quality TMNT comics again. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Laird by himself on the title, I just don't find it as exciting as I used to when they worked together. Their synergy on the title was what made me regain interest in the TMNT through my teenage years after I decided I was too old for the toon. Recently I've just been waiting for the payoff with the Laird story and being fed awesome tidbits with Tales, but I really believe that if these 2 got their shiznit together it would be electrifying.

Pretty cool :D

You cry over TMNT a bit too much.

That nice, I guess. Rather have Eastman come back permanently. He's looser with fun ideas than Laird.

It would be cool to have one of the 100 drawings. And yeah, it would be cool if Kevin and Peter got together again some day.
Put their differences aside/falling out?
I don't understand, I didn't know they had a falling out. I thought they were in good terms and just Kevin decided to do his own thing.
Laird seems to talk about Kevin as if nothing happened, same with Kevin.

Cool!
Though I wish they had color-coded the bandannas "ducks".
You can tell which one is which by their weapons, silly *geese*
EDIT: I didn't just goose ya. :embarass: But, to make my pun still relevant, you are now more than one "silly goose". :P

That would be awful and misrepresentive of the Eastman & Laird TMNT comics... which this is clearly -- and beautifully -- recreating.
Unless I'm mistaken this is the first piece of art Eastman & Laird have done together since the TMNT Vol. 2 covers... last of which was in 1995. So 14 years ago.

I didn't mean to imply they had a falling out, but I don't think they see eye to eye. If you're referring to my earlier statement, i meant for the term 'any differences' to kind of blanket the possibility that they just don't want to work together, not that they don't want to.

That's still something, that they created something TMNT-related together. A significant something I might add.
And I could have sworn that some months ago, on this site, I did read about their having a falling out. Whether or not they did, it's still a reunion of sorts. :D

I'd love one of those but I won't get there till Saturday and I'm sure by then they will all be gone. Half of them to fans and the other half to asshole scalpers. That's awesome news though.
