I just wanted to send out a very, very heartfelt thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hi at SDCC this year. I really did have the time of my life and it was so, SO awesome being able to put faces to names (and even names to names ;) ) and just shoot the **** with so many cool people.

Andrew, my apologies for being such a lightweight at the TMNT event. I will admit, if any fellow Australians had been in attendance I would've been called out for being a pussy and rightfully so. However, my energies had to be conserved, as the following two nights and the one prior saw me have a spectacular total of 3 hours and 24 minutes sleep (yes for all three of those nights). This was because I was in the company of fellow Aussies (and Tales freelancer) Andie Tong, Stewart McKenny, and David Yardin, all of whom know how to party all too well. Actually, now that I think about it... you were cradling your martini much longer than I was... :P:lol:

Rose, I know we've butted heads a number of times before, but it really was cool to meet you and catch up in person. I almost shouted out "rigged" when you won the raffle (:P) but congratulations! And congrats to whoever won the Fugitoid figure too!

Gotta thank everyone for forcing me to learn the art of "Con Sketching"... I realised when it was too late that Splinter seems to be my forte, so whoever didn't get a Splinter, I apologise (unless you liked the Turtle I drew... for which I am very grateful)!

It was great hanging out with folks at the TMNT Forever screening and I got a huge kick out seeing so many people so amped for the the Turtles! Really inspired me just to do more work and work harder for you guys!

It was great to see that Andres and Dario made it down, but a shame that Paul and Peter couldn't.

Both Turtles games kick-ass, and meeting Mike was a real treat! It was great to see that the girls in the booth new their ****, which seems to be rarity these days. Both games rock, and I hope we get them the same time as you guys in the States! The Turtles in Time build was really impressive!

Also gotta thank Isaac and the rest of the doco crew, not only for including me but for also just doing a damn fine job!

Finally, I have to thank all the guys at Mirage. None of this would've been possible if it weren't for them!

Thank you for being there. I probably wouldn't have remembered to seek out artist alley if it weren't for you. I just started thinking my International Con experience was seeming a little too exclusively American. So, first thing that comes mind: "Hey, isn't that Trist bloke supposed to be here?" :)

Thanks man, it was great to finally meet you as well! I was actually surprised at how international the con really was, I met a heap of fellow Aussies and folks from all over the globe!

By the way, if anyone got any photos, PLEASE let me know!

Since I only attended the last day of the Con and and this time went with family my trip was kind of rushed, So I went through the Mirage tables kind of fast but I definetly had to see you guys, I wish I had been able to stay longer and but I thank you and the rest of the Mirage crew for coming and for being so nice and signing my comic:)

Tristan, new comic idea for you : Tale of the aussie! Could be a smash, and I want sales revenue from it ;0).

Is there an Oz Native who DOESN'T know how to party? We have a local oz member as a mainstay on my favorite radio station, and some of the ones they CAN tell on air probably pale in comparison to the ones they can't tell.

Just so long as you haven't vanished for a good 12 hours and don't remember any of that 12 hour time periood, you're not as bad as he is ;)

Sorry I didn't notice you oddly enough Trist :(
I was having a really bad day (more like month) and honestly wasn't myself or all together there.

No dramas V. I was a little bummed after hearing that the others recognised you and I missed out (I coulda been out of the tables if it was that last day). I hope everything is okay now though...

it was kinda funny cause I didnt think I was going to see vaughn either. t-Then, walking to my car to start the drive home, I look to my right, and Vaughn happens to be walking right next to me. Talk about luck :-)

My response to seeing the picture I took with Tristan: "... I'm so short."

Aside from that, it was great seeing everyone! Although sadly I missed Vaugn, Spit, and Tinny. :(

No dramas! I just regret not realising I should've been drawing Splints from the start!

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa... whoa.

Whoa.

What's this about a sketch? I didn't get one. I sarcastically demand a refund! :x

Hey ya! dude! It was a pleasure meeting you! I really home the lady and I can make it down under sometime.

Sorry I didn't get a cool sketch from you! You should have done one for the shirt hall of fame. I did at least get you on there right? My head was so fried especially after that mess at the Turtle van I don't remember everything.

Thanks for the kind words and support man! All the best!

You know, my plan was to go up to you and do the move where I pretend to think you're an artist on TMNT and ask you about your technique. But you recognized me.
