I just wanted to send out a very, very heartfelt thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hi at SDCC this year. I really did have the time of my life and it was so, SO awesome being able to put faces to names (and even names to names ;) ) and just shoot the **** with so many cool people.
Andrew, my apologies for being such a lightweight at the TMNT event. I will admit, if any fellow Australians had been in attendance I would've been called out for being a pussy and rightfully so. However, my energies had to be conserved, as the following two nights and the one prior saw me have a spectacular total of 3 hours and 24 minutes sleep (yes for all three of those nights). This was because I was in the company of fellow Aussies (and Tales freelancer) Andie Tong, Stewart McKenny, and David Yardin, all of whom know how to party all too well. Actually, now that I think about it... you were cradling your martini much longer than I was... :P:lol:
Rose, I know we've butted heads a number of times before, but it really was cool to meet you and catch up in person. I almost shouted out "rigged" when you won the raffle (:P) but congratulations! And congrats to whoever won the Fugitoid figure too!
Gotta thank everyone for forcing me to learn the art of "Con Sketching"... I realised when it was too late that Splinter seems to be my forte, so whoever didn't get a Splinter, I apologise (unless you liked the Turtle I drew... for which I am very grateful)!
It was great hanging out with folks at the TMNT Forever screening and I got a huge kick out seeing so many people so amped for the the Turtles! Really inspired me just to do more work and work harder for you guys!
It was great to see that Andres and Dario made it down, but a shame that Paul and Peter couldn't.
Both Turtles games kick-ass, and meeting Mike was a real treat! It was great to see that the girls in the booth new their ****, which seems to be rarity these days. Both games rock, and I hope we get them the same time as you guys in the States! The Turtles in Time build was really impressive!
Also gotta thank Isaac and the rest of the doco crew, not only for including me but for also just doing a damn fine job!
Finally, I have to thank all the guys at Mirage. None of this would've been possible if it weren't for them!
