Look at what drawing at 4 am does to a turtle. Started out as one of a few pen sketches I tried to do in under 15 minutes, then I got bored and started finalizing it a bit (hence why it looks really really really sketchy). Then this morning I decided to put some prismacolors to it, and came up with this uh...thing. You can see a few other sketches showing through the paper because I was stupid enough to use markers on regular computer paper. At least scanners make it look good, even if Leo's sword looks really crappy.

Oh, and I think that may be Powerpuff girl Buttercup on the bottom there. She escaped, somehow.

That is amazing... You did all of this at 4am?? Wow. I'm totally impressed. I like the details you put into this sketch... And it looks like Buttercup is about to get sliced.

Looks like Scrappy Doo isn't the only person sick of Cartoon Cartoons! :twink:

Ooh, that looks awesome. Actually, I like the effects of the sketch lines, and the coloring is amazing.

Yesh... your half awake talent is just as effective at that hour than any.

I like the different effect the blue ink lines add to the overall color scheme. And the contrast is soooo dramatic! Leo on the rampage! 8)

The color you put into that thing is almost god-like. My hats off to you, sir!

Wow, nice cleanup from the sketch you had before. Your coloring is pretty top notch. My only complaint is that bowling pin Leo's holding for a sword  .

Thanks much, all. I think if I hadn't put those colors in, trying to tell what the drawing is would be difficult, especially for Leo's empty hand. It helped to bring the figure out alot more. For the sword, I wanted it to be at an extreme angle, but it perhaps has too much curve..looks like some kind of invalid scimitar or Middle Eastern military-issue blade now. I was also drawing that thing in a matter of 5 seconds :P It's hard enough trying to draw a straight line and maintain good perspective while high on caffeine and rushing, which is still something I can't do.

Almost all the drawing stuff I do for fun is late at night or early early morning because of all my school and work stuffs. But that's ok, because in my experience, late-night rushed drawings have produced interesting outcomes and character studies. Drink a case of caffeine and draw fast in pen, try it :P

Jephael: actually, most of the cartoons I like are on CN. Powerpuff Girls is one of my favorite cartoons, and has some of the best storyboardists in the business, in my opinion. Besides, technically PpG is no longer a "Cartoon Cartoon" :P

Oh yea, and by technicality, Buttercup would win :))

Because it's evil? Face it, with Geocities, you get exactly what you pay for. :D

Try again later. Remember you always have to copy and paste Geocities images. Plus there are things like bandwidth overload and stuff.

Nay, you just have to click on the url then press "reload".
If that doesn't work then copypaste it.
If that doesn't work then you're as screwed as the about-to-get-sliced buttercup :teek:
But it should work...free hosting is evil  i know that, i've been having my stuff deleted ever since i started using free hosting *points at his avatar*
Anyways, the pic is awesome, i specially love that you used the blue ink like that, i didnt realize black ink can get kinda bored till now :P

Doooooode! :o That's seriously wicked! If I tried drawing on sleep dep.... wait, I have. All my drawings when I'm sleep depreived make perfect sense until I look at them the next day when I see nothing but random scribbles with an occassional smiley face or stick-figure hand. I also tend to draw things in the background and then label them (ie: draw a framed picture of a boat hanging on the wall for no reason and then draw an arrow with the label "boat" attached to it). In short: My stuff never looks NEAR that cool. In fact, I think I may hate you just a little bit. :D
