This was suggested to me by Cooksux... and it sounds like a good idea. If we want to go aghead with it, I guess we can decide later who will be the folks in charge of thinking up contests and how it will be judged.

Subject: I got an idea for the Fan Works Discussion
I don't know if this was brought up or anything, but I think it'd be great is TheTechnodrome had a monthly drawing challenge. There are several forums that I know that do somthing like this. i.e. www.theallspark.com has a monthly challenge, and this month's challenge is to draw a battle between two Transformers with the same name. So there's an idea thrown out on the table. It'll hopefully inspire, encourage people to participate. So let me know if you want to run with the idea at least for this month?

We just need some of the mods to volunteer to help him run the contests.CookSux...??? Wasn't that guy banned? :-?Nope, he hasn't even gotten any warnings.

I think it's a cool idea. I'd volunteer to help, but I'm going through finals right now. :( I'm sure one of the other mods would want to help out.

Sure, that's fine with me, Nturtle. You'll also need to contact CookSux about it.

Awesome guys. One thing about the idea tho, is that I don't think that there really needs to be a judge or anything. It's just something that people can do, you know? So rather it being not a contest per se, but more like... a facilitated group activity people can participate in to keep things rolling?

Haha, only reason it shouldn't be a contest is because who actually wants to go out and give out prizes? We should encourage everyone to participate, because then we'll get a variation regarding skill levels.
