Wow those ratings are awful. Just plain awful. There's no bright side to that at all. Ouch! I had a feeling that Nano wouldn't do very hot ratings wise. Man, I hope the introduction of the Shredder tomorrow helps boost the ratings. This is the best damn cartoon on in a long time and it would be a shame to see it disappear so quickly. What were the ratings for "Meet Casey Jones". The last ratings Toonzone posted was for 2/22 and this is for 3/8. MCJ was on 3/1.

I really hope Mirage decides to move it to a diffrent net work... like to Kids WB. Look at all the things that have come out of there? Pokemon, Yugioh, Jackie Chan. I know most all of you don't like Pokemon or yugioh but look at how much merch. they sell though, and how well the ratings are.

WB was the first place Mirage tried to sell the show to. They weren't interested. I can't believe that Jackie Chan is doing better than TMNT. That doesn't make sense to me. Static Shock's success doesn't either for that matter.

I blame the Fox Box for the low ratings. The rest of the lineup just plain stinks. As a result, kids don't want to check out anything on the channel. Even though TMNT is a great show. C'mon ratings improvement for week 6!

If the ratings continue to plumett like this, there will NOT be a second season. I have hope though, it's a good franchise and it has to spark some interest eventually.

Yes they are and so are the comics, and message boards everywhere are raving abou the show which leads me to an interesting conclusion....the FANBOYS are watching!!!

These ratings are for kids aged 6-11. What's the Fanboy ratings? The Fanboy ratings must be significantly higher than any of the other shows. There is hope here, if Fanboys (sorry to be so gender specific but fan"boy" is the term) can tell their younger siblings and what not.

I have such infinite hope for this series. I really believe that the kids will get into it. The ratings for the first two weeks mid "3"s seemed about right to me. I believe the ratings will return, especially judging by the really cool story arcs coming up.

lets face it Nano was not a good ep, that explanes a a good deal of the ratings drop, add that to being back to back with the JLA being on Static Shock and its not all that suprising that the ratings went south. If they want ratings they should put iut up aginst Cubix or Mucha Lucha if it ever gets put back on.

Sure, Nano may seem a little weak compared to the other ep. But we know TMNT will still be the flagship (or getting the highest rating overall) among ALL of the FoxBox shows.

Just enjoy the first season for now, don't worry about rather there will be a 2nd season or not. That's my philosophy anyway.

Haha, that's probably because it's the premiere! (or pilot episode) You know how kids are, shredhead...always into the whole computer games / pirates stuff (plus, the show promo advertises it as a live-action digimon type of deal...only with pirates), it's not too suprising the "Pirate Island" has better ratings. Again, I still think TMNT will win out in the long run.

I'm just going to think that these low ratings are going to make some sort of rebound this time, and we'll hopefully see ratings up above a 2.0 or higher.

If the series can maintain mid to upper 2s and remain the highest/one of the highest rated shows on the Fox Box then it's clear sailing for season 2. If the show can put up 3s like it did the first 2 weeks then that's a great sign.

If you go to the site that he got the ratings from, they said 8/3 or 3/8 meaning Feburary 8th, so that was only ratings for the first episode.

I think that every show on the FoxBox should be canned except for TMNT. I didn't want to say that, but every show on there except for TMNT is horrible. I'm glad they got rid of Ultraman Tiga, but then they put on Pirate Islands..geez..And next week we're getting a Back To The Future cartoon..Are they airing the old one, or is it a new one?

I'm just glad they decided to air the Back to the Future cartoon series, which incidently used to air right after the oriignal TMNT toon when they were on CBS. Maybe we'll get some of the BTTF fan base to help TMNT's ratings.

Man i love Pirate Islands, don't know why people don't like it. I love Pirates and having a pirate show is awesome. It would have been nice to have an actual pirate show instead of kids getting sucked into a game. But Whatever it's still a good show and i'll be watching each week.

I think the best move would be to the Cartoon Network. They have all the good shows now. They could put TMNT inbetween He-man and transformers armada. And then they could put the old tmnt show on after gijoe :D

Anyways, I wouldn't worry too much about the tmnt right now, the rerun episode is getting moved up a half hour, which is a huge plus, and fighting foodons is getting tossed back like 3 hours ;) YES!!!!!!!!!!! I really really really hate that fighting foodons show.

If ratings didn't matter, I wouldn't bring it up. Regardless of whether I think there will be a season 2 or not (I think there's a good chance), the lower the ratings, the lower the chances of seeing any TV show survive.

The Turtles make their way into the T.C.R.I. building only to find it practically deserted and comprised of false architecture. Eventully the Turtles find Splinter in the TCRI facility, but he's in no condition to be rescued - they also discover other life forms on the base, and they're not of this Earth!

It is very likely that in this season's last episode the TMNT will be sucked into the world of Doctor Honeycutt, just like in Mirage Vol.1 #4. And having just one season, which ends with a cliffhanger would really SUCK!!! :cry:

I had a favorite show the main guy doing it told me they were bringing it back and then suddenly the show was cancelled and gone. Sometimes Bad & Stupid Things Happen. That's Life.
