View Full Version : Are you younger or older than TMNT?
TMNT is 25 years old (a little over now I'd imagine). Are you younger or older and if so, by how many years.
I'm 7 years older than TMNT myself.

Younger, but only by a few years.
After all, I watched the original TMNT cartoon back in the 80's and 90's when I was a kid, so I have to be pretty old now.

Oh my god, I've thought about this so much. I got into the video games, arcade games, and toys but I only saw the Euro episodes and most of Red Sky get aired, and saw the movies on TV. I totally dug the sh*t when it was about to die, I can only imagine how crazy the whole thing was at the boom of popularity.

I am around 6 1/2 years older than the TMNT franchise.
If the Turtles were born in 1970, I am 7 years younger than them, though.
In fact, I am younger than the OT/Archie Turtles if they were 15 when the OT started.

You're not kidding. Not only across the age range, but from both genders and different cultural and racial backgrounds.

wow everyone is so old ;)
2 or 3 years younger, Which we were probably the last generation that got to see the original TMNT fad at its peak.
I was also a part of the last generation that got to enjoy the Pokemon fad while still a kid.
Can't complain, IMO I was born in the perfect year, just in time for the TMNT fad and made it for the Pokemon fad.

I remember the pokemon Fad that drove all of the teachers crazy at my school. They even banned the cards at one point due to people playing it during class. I'm glad that's over. But seriously I wish I could have appreciated their awesome-ness at their peak.

Well I figure they were born around 1968/1969. Leonardo is supposed to be a year older than the others. As of May 1984 aproximately 13 years had passed since their mutation. Making them roughly 14/15 years of age.

This is why TMNT is alive and MOTU almost dead, the all ages fan universe, keeping it in TV and comics, even with bad cartoon or series make it possible to reborn once and once again.
If one series goes wrong, another one will come better. But never give up.
All fans know it... but Mattel don´t.
Long live Transformers and TMNT, hope MOTU can awake from the grave yard that Matty is.
