Ok, I'm trying to find an artist who's willing to work with me for a web comic I want to make. It's about a guy, a girl, and his computer, who runs hell and tries to take over the world. The guy is a massive TMNT fan, as well as a general geek. The girl is basicly the same, though not to quite the same extremes as the guy. So yes, the TMNT will have a major influence and will probably receive a storyline or two dedicated to them, er, that is if Laird wouldn't sue... :tanime: Anyway, anyone who would be interested, please feel free to post. By the way, if you hadn't guessed, this is going to be a funny comic... :D

That actaully sounds neat. Unfortunately, I have my hands full with other webcomic projects.

And if you simply mention the TMNT it should be fine. If you wanna be safe put TMNT are copyright Mirage Studios on every comic they appear in. If it's a non-profit project, it's shouldn't be a problem. No one's gotten busted for fan fiction yet!

Yeah... Too bad you're the only one who has expressed any form of intrest in this... :sweatdro: Anyone else? Please? Come on, I know there's artists just WANTING to do a comic... I'm experienced in this sort of thing... Please? Anyone? It's cold outside and there are wolves after me...

Meh...as much as i'd like to help i'm still kinda unexperienced and i only do anthro art anyways.
And if i ever get better at drawing i already promised to do a bucky o'hare webcomic with pwdesai so my hands would be full...well not literally, but yknow :p
But i second cooksux's second...in fact i wanna ask you, why not just do it yourself?
If you want your webcomic done right then do it yourself, that way it'll probably turn out as you wanted it to be...unless you don't care how it turns out that is :dead: either way good luck, sounds like a good idea.

I wouldn't mind seeing a sample script tho... although I'm not the bomb diggity, the more things I get my hands on the better I get.

Also i agree with cooksux practices makes perfect :P i just dont think im so experienced as to work on a webcomic yet that's all.

Well, a.) having no talent for drawing, and b.) my scanner being messed up, I'm sort of up a creek when it comes to making it myself. Also, my art style is too screwed up for the kinda comic I have planned. I.E. "Ummm... Is this male or female? Gyah... If I could actually draw breasts this would be SOOOO much easier... Oh well, back to the drawing board... Oh yeah, I set it on fire... Nevermind..." and as for a sample script, well, to do scripts I REALLY need charecter designs. Yeah, it sounds stupid, but you need the physical shape of a chara to get teh right mental shape. But if you want a writing sample, go check out my fan fic. It's the X-Men crossover thread. Bear in mind that most of the mistakes were made because I had four hours sleep in two weeks, and most have been corrected.

Character designs don't fall out of the sky :P I say you put some descriptions down, people will take a crack at it, and then do something from there.

You have a good idea. Ok, here's some basic descritions...

The guy is about 18 or 19 with short brown hair. He's kinda tall, around 6'2", but not lanky. A bit geeky. He wears oversized t shirts. He sometimes wears glasses, but usually only when he drives. He has scars on his stomach, chest, and back from being mauled by a rotweiler/pitbull mix when he was little, and they never quite healed for some unknown reason. "But I got my shoe back dammit!!"

The girl is about 17 or 18 with long golden brown hair down to her mid-back. She wears glasses. She's around 5'7". She wears baggyish t-shirts, about a size bigger than what she normally would, not two sizes like the male. She's a tomboy of sorts, and dresses masculine, but feminine at the same time.

The computer is a tower with cords coming out of the back. Somehow it has developed control over the cords and has begun using them as appendages. If it weren't for processor problems, and his blood bond to the male, he would have taken over the world by now, or at least France.
