OK, first don't get mad and rude if this post has been brought up, but I couldn't find it.
My question is......are complete seasons of the OT and for that matter all the toons out on DVD? I remember a few years ago you could find vol. 1 Season 3 disc 21 and so on and so forth (yes, that's just an example).
Also, if there are more then one company that released them.....which sets are the best?
Thanks in advance!

The early part of original toon is only available in the multiple volumes that were released. The only part of the OT that has been rereleased is season 7, which started out as four separate discs, but recently got repackaged as a set.
The entire 4Kids series, with a few exceptions, was released with individual DVDs. Seasons 1 & 2 are the only parts that have been rereleased in half season sets.
Original 'Toon
Only the third season so far hasn't been released in a set. Instead, it's spread over Volume 3 to 6. Also, Season 8 is the latest available ATM. Just two more seasons to go! So far, all have been released under Lionsgate or their child companies.
4Kids 'Toon
Get the Season 1&2 Parts 1&2 for full-length episodes. On multi-part eps, the intros were removed from Part Two and beyond on the initial 'volume' releases. The only reason to track down the individual volumes is if you want to collect all the extras. Those can be found on Volume 1-8 & 14. For Season 3&4, you have no alternative. get the individual volumes: "Michelangelo's Christmas Rescue" if you want Season Three's Christmas Special (based on Michaelangelo #1), 3.1 to 3.7 (often referred to as Volume 15 to 21), the 2-Disc "Season 4" compilation, the "Ninja Tribunal" release (Season Five) and two half-season sets of Fast Forward. Currently, there is no release for 'Back to the Sewer' or 'Turtles Forever' even planned. However, all these DVDs were produced by Funimation and have been discontinued. It's now Nickelodeon's decision to rerelease any of them, and they don't do a great job of seeing to it that their older cartoons get released on DVD. As it is, you can only find Doug at Amazon and nowhere else. So, I'd snatch 'em all up before they're gone indefinitely if I were you.

Lionsgate better get out the last two seasons. Hopefully Nick doesn't harass them.
