Ok people have probably noticed this before but I was listening to Turtle Power on youtube earlier today and while I love the song, it just irks me so bad that while he describes everything from the movie in such correct detail he screws up so bad when he calls Raphael the leader of the group! Everyone knows Leo's the leader so how'd they screw that up so bad?? They worked with the people working on the movie when making that song as shown by the fact that the original turtles costumes were in the music video, so I really wonder how that slipped by.

It's a mighty blemish on such an awesome song. Even with some cheesy lyric choices ("They can't dust us off like some old coffee table"), it's still amazing. But the Raph = leader line always makes me cringe.

I remember reading somewhere, and if I could remember where I'd post a link, that the line was in the song because, in the film, Raphael was the most independent Turtle. I don't know what that has to do with being a leader, but there ya go.

It's possible their lack of knowledge of the comics, they must have seen an image of Leo with the red mask (like so many posters out there at the time) and assumed it was Raph and thus the leader.
