It's been about a month or 2 when Dan said Nick would take over the web site. Has there been any problems?

They would have to have something to replace it with. Even if it's just redirecting the domain to a dummy page at Nick.com, they'd still need to create that. And if they don't yet have it figured out what the next step is for the TMNT, that's not going to be on their list of priorities.
Honestly, it could be a very long while until we see/hear anything out of Nick.

Actually, they already have control of the domain name. If you look up the whois info for ninjaturtles.com, you'll see that the contacts have been changed to those of MarkMonitor, which is the registrar and brand protection company that Viacom uses (I assume they are in the process of transferring the domain from NetSol). They may just keep pointing the domain to the old site until they have something to replace it with as Roseangelo mentioned.
Speaking of domain names, I just noticed that Viacom has taken over tmnt.com, which used to lead to WB's TMNT movie site. They now point it to ninjaturtles.com and have their own contacts listed on the whois.

They've got bigger fish to fry. They probably give two sh*ts about www.ninjaturtles.com right now.

Personally I'm not expecting any changes to the site until we get a teaser poster for the new movie, which will probably be 2011 at earliest.

I don't know about that, but it does make sense that they wouldn't be worried about marketing until they actually have a product to market. Or a product coming out in the foreseeable future.

The transfer that I mentioned above was completed last week, so Viacom is now the sole owner of the ninjaturtles.com domain name. As we guessed, they're still pointing it to the old server for now, so nothing has changed as far as content goes.
