Hi Guys,

I have a problem: Confirmations Email stopped to arrive. Why?
If i have selected Notify me when a reply is posted and in my profie and over all my topic that i had sent.

Our host has been performing maintenance on the mail server this week, so that might be what was causing the problem. If you still don't receive email for the next few days, let me know and I'll look into the problem.

The mail server has been working lately, so I'm not sure what's wrong. Are you sure that "Notify me when a reply is posted" is checked for every thread you want to receive email from?

I selected the option: notify always when a reply is posted but email doesn't arrive.

It's probably a phpBB error.

However, Krang, if you say you're mail server was doing some maintenance and it happened around the same time the error started occuring, it's possible they upgraded the mail server and it doesn't support phpBB now or vice versa.

I know I got a somewhat similar error before on my phpBB board (Where it started filling my inbox full of every bounced e-mail notification) When problems like that occur I usually just shove them at my SysAdmin and whine. A whole lot.

I know phpbb.com has a support forum for the program..maybe that'd help ^^

Sorry everyone, but I'm still not sure what's wrong (it could be a phpBB error like Caliosidhe said or it could be a problem with our host). I'm not getting bounced emails in any of my accounts, so I'll try asking at the phpBB support board soon. Until I figure this out, please let me know if any of you start receiving email from the board again.

Thank you Krang, i'm not actually posting on the forum because i don't receive the email and i don't know if user reply at my post... i don't have forgotten your site. This is my favourite TMNT fan site. I can't forgotten it!

That's not possible for me because I was getting them and than one day it just stopped. I didn't change my E-mail at all.......

Unfortunately, I still have no idea why this is happening either. I tried posting a test thread with notification on and replied to myself a few times, but I didn't get any email, either. I'll try a few more tests and let everyone know if I can figure out what's wrong.

the notification emails still aren't arriving like they should be, but yesterday I did get 1 email for the topic "Wango Tango" in the Intro forum. Is anyone else getting notification emails? or is it still down?

Is there anyone who is getting notification emails? If so, let me know what email provider you're using. I'm still trying to figure out whether it's a problem with the forum software or our host, but it's hard to do that when I'm not getting the emails either.

I'm getting them again as well, but just like cqb, I only get reply notices for certain topics.

Today i received two confirmations email. Perhaps phpbb starts to work correctly again
