View Full Version : TMNT crossovers that are awesome (in your head)

Me and a friend were randomly talking about crossovers that are impossible or at least highly unlikely but would be so killer if they ever did happen. Even if they made sense to no one else it didn't matter. They cool in our minds!

A pretty obvious one is Turtles/ Battle Toads

Then there was...

Turtles/Jurassic Park but obviously this has been done more or less.

Turtles/Spiderman

Turtles/Gargoyles (Disney)

Turtles/Star Trek - an alternative to Fast Forward

And possibly the weirdest one was Turtles/The California Raisins.

So has anyone else had a whacky crossover imaginings?

What about crossover: TMNT/T-Rex cartoons...after all, they always seems to me a copy of TMNT-....
and of course my favourite TMNT/Uncanny x-men...

Lol this will end up being a really short topic. So I guess we should bother explaining why we think these turtles Crossovers are so cool (((In our MINDS!)))

I'll be back a little later with my explanation.

EDIT: Yeah you could probably cross the Turtles with a lot of cartoons of the 80's that used the same formula. Such as Street Sharks or Biker Mice

Battletoads : basically came from the fact that I always thought of the toads as being rip offs but at the same time being cool in their own right. Kind of like how fans of Mario 64 think Banjo Kazooie was a rip off but still a really fun game. Then it also kinda played off the idea of the Punk Frogs...wait I wonder if the Punk Frogs were supposed to be the Battle Toads in some way.

Jurassic Park: Well they seem to love dinosaurs. They end up in the dino age or like..actually turn into them so it just seemed to make sense.

Spiderman : Well they both live in NewYork and like to jump around a lot and are heroes. (Not so much the turtles but you get the idea) and both are very agile. If Spiderman and the Turtles lived in the same universe their meeting would be inevitable since Peter Parker would most likely try to discover them for the paper or something. Or maybe he'd just accidentally run into them as Spiderman. Something tells me this crossover already exists and I just forgot it or didn't see it.

Gargoyles: I think this would be pretty kick ass for a crossover. The Gargoyles are just awesome on their own and unlike heroes like Spiderman, are also feared by society and can't integrate with humans. They have one human friend, the cop Eliza Maza. So already they are a lot like the turtles. Zanatos is a pretty elaborate villain and might pair up nicely with Shredder. And since the Gargoyles turn to stone in the day time. I keep coming up with scenarios of the Turtles having to defend them during the day from people who want to smash them up.

Star Trek: Like I said would basically be the Alternative to Fast Forward. But it would mostly focus on Donatello then the others I think. He'd jump at the chance to go space exploring and not have to hide out in the cargo bay.

I actually just thought up this one last night, since I was rewatching the latter show.

TMNT (80s toon)/Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM) - Both are darker than your average 80s toon but still pretty hokey and goofy. I'd love to see Sonic take on the classic Shredder, and see the Turtles have to deal with Robuttnik. ;)

I started writing a TMNT/Rescue Rangers crossover similar to the RR episode "Flash The Wonder Dog" and TMNT's "Michaelangelo Meets Bugman" but due to my poor understanding of TMNT at the time it didn't get very far. :(

Summary: Dale is obsessed with the violent (for Disney standards) TMNT cartoon and the others chastise him for it but quickly believe him when Chip recognizes a strange vehicle pop out of the ground similar to one seen in Dale's cartoon...

One I DID finish was a short Pinky and the Brain/TMNT crossover where Pinky and the Brain plot to use mechanical mice Brain ordered to invade the White House and frighten everyone away, after which Brain will assume command of one of the most powerful leaders of the world. Shredder learns of the shipment and, with Bebop and Rocksteady. successfully steals them before the TMNT can stop them. The heroes and mice give chase but return to the sewers empty handed. Meanwhile, Shredder has programmed the mice to capture Splinter and the TMNT which works without a hitch. Splinter is left to be sliced and diced. P+TB can't bear to see a fellow rat killed... will they save Splinter or carry out Brain's plan for world domination?

I'd like to see the turtles crossover with toxic crusaders. Fitting as hell if you ask me. It totally could've happened too. Both were playmates/fred wolf.

I always thought that TMNT/X-Men would be pretty cool to see. I can't remember the exact details of my idea, but I know it involded Sentinels capturing mutants and Raph getting tired of hiding and wanting to be part of the X-Men's cause.

The first TMNT episode with the Punk Frogs aired in 1988, so the Battletoads probably came later.

A Buffy crossover would be interesting. I haven't looked around to see if it's been done before. I imagine a slayer might mistake them all for demons or something.

And Hellboy and Spiderman definitely make sense in my mind's eye.

I might try a Buffy cross over if I ever get the time and inclination to do so. I don't feel equipped to write about Spiderman or Hellboy.

There were some Full House episodes where the TMNT were mentioned. DJ had to babysit this little boy while the grownups played poker. The little boy wanted to play a game with DJ. I think the little boy wanted to be the turtles and pretended DJ was Krang, the evil warlord from Dimension X. There was also a slumber party Stepanie was invited to with all the kids and their mothers. Stephanie went with Joey, who wore ninja turtle pajamas.

Leonardo- Water, he can be calm and wise.
Rapheal- Obviously Fire, his rage shows it.

I've wondered before how a TMNT/Willy Wonka crossover would happen. I'd imagine that while they are going through the factory:

-Michelangelo was the gluttonous one in the cartoon, so he'd probably be the one to fall in the river of chocolate.

-April O'Neil decides that the gum Wonka invented will be a great story, so she decides to grab it. April ends up ballooning into a giant blueberry and gets rolled away by the oompa loompas.

-Raphael is the one to fall into the garbage after a temper tantrum.

-Donatello is the one that gets sucked into the TV or whatever, due to his curiosity.

-Leonardo would end up being the good one that wins, and Splinter would be like Grandpa Joe.

If there ever is a crossover between TMNT 2k3 and Avatar, they should talk about the five elements the turtles and Splinter learned about in Return to New York Part 2 as they fought the mystic ninjas. They use the exact same elements as Avatar, except there's wind and metal instead of air. There is metalbending sometimes on Avatar but I've never heard of windbending.

I think Mikey would be good at air, he's always 'coptoring on those things in one game or another. Don seems the stable type, he'd be a good Earth-bender.

The Spiderman crossover holds the most potential in my minds eye.
