Rutger's TMNT autograph collection updates!

[Raph]

Hi dudes and dudettes,

Well as promised after some votes and opinion I've started my own collection thread here, on the updates of my autograph aquisitions. And Yes I have a new one as of today.

Jason Griffith (whom you all know as Miyamoto Usagi in the 2K3 cartoon) has also voiced Mirage Leonardo in 'Turtles Forever' (credited as Adam Caroleson).

So naturally I sent him a Mirage Leo pic. And here it is in all its glory :D

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/Jason%20Griffith%20b.jpg

Another great pic !!! Congratulations!!!...Please dont forget post in this thread the others autographs !!! I miss the nice others too!!!

Should I post all the previous ones too then??
You can also go to my website to view them all, so should I really??

[Powder]

It's not necessary to. That'd take away the fun of your great site! Maybe post new ones and/or personal favorites!

[Raph]

Yeah Powder, totally agree with you on that!! Like I said, from now on I'll post all the new addition. And maybe add some favorites with an attached story on how I got it.

It's not necessary to. That'd take away the fun of your great site! Maybe post new ones and/or personal favorites!

[Raph]

Little newsflash:
Upcoming additions to my still growing TMNT autograph site:

- Jan Rabson just got back from his trip to Asia, next week he will send me
back a signed Kurma the Turtleoid photo.

- Sam Regal received my photos from his additional characters and will do an
interview with me next week.

- In the next coming weeks Gregory Abbey is going to try and score some
sigs for me during a gathering of VA's about the shutdown of 4Kids.

- Got into contact with Shinsir Inocalla (main stunts for Venus, and movie III
Mikey)

- Got into contact with Kenn Troum (Raphael, suit in Secret of the Ooze)

Thats it, as always I'll keep you updated on all news and new additions!

[Raph]

Today I received my 25th anniversary edition of TMNT Vol. 1 #1 re-print.
It came with this great bookplate signed by Steve Murphy, Kevin Eastman, Dan Berger and Peter Laird.

Here it is! But I guess most of you received this one as well:

[koenne]

Leuk om nog iemand te leren kennen die ook geînterseerd is in ninja turtles die nederlands spreekt :p . Leuke handtekening verzameling !
Cowabunga !

[Raph]

Hi koenne, thanks for the compliment. Did you check out my entire site, or just the few updates on this page?
I've sent you a Pm in Dutch by the way!

[Raph]

A new autograph came to me today!!

It's from Jan Rabson. He voiced Kurma the Turtleoid in the classic cartoon episodes. Cool character and his favorite as Jan told me!

Here it is:

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/Jan%20Rabson.jpg

[Buffy]

Cool! What a cute picture. :)

[Raph]

Thanks Jen,

I actually was expecting a few more replies from other members. Don't want to force them, because thats just lame and not spontanious, but when I posted each new autograph in the General Section I would get more responses.
No negativity, just an observation :trazz:

I'll keep posting them here of course. It's nice see have it all together!
Cheers to that!

[Raph]

Update news:

- Got in contact with James Murray who did the voice of Splinter in Turtles III

- Got into contact with Megan Hollingshead: Sydney and Dr. Abigail Finn in the 2K3 cartoon!

[Raph]

Hi all!
Two new autograph additions today!!
Kenn Scott (credited as Kenn Troum in TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze) signed my Raphael photo with some cool words!

Tom Wayland, the voice of Jammerhead in TMNT: Fast Forward, signed my Jammerhead photo!

"To Rutger - You rule, sir."

Never been a truer statement. Well, there probably has been, but you know what I mean!

Am I right in thinking that you print off these pictures and send them away to get signed? I'm sure I read that before. Ever got back anything unexpected in the post? Just curious.

Also, how do you display all these? Up on the wall? In folders?

You collection is something else. Amazing.

Hi discordiatookie and thanks!. Yeah I indeed make screencaps, or find original photos and have them printed at a shop. Then after personal contact or on the fly I send the photo to the actors agency or home address. Or occasionally I meet one in real life. In that case I bring the printed photo with me!

If I send something on the fly, it's always unexpected to get it back, but I also sometimes receive more then I asked for. Like an extra signed photo or even presents. (check my site for those).
About displaying. My website is the true display. I have them in folders, and some are framed.

[Buffy]

Nice Raph autograph!

[Raph]

News flash!!

Finally after 4 years I've been able to get in contact with Ernie Reyes Jr. Really happy about it. Photos are already on their way to him

Talked with David Wise the writer of the classic cartoon episodes. Nice guy and I sent him pics for an autograph as well!

Since it's been quiet for a little while I'd like to start with posting some golden oldies once in a while, like personal favorites, or additions with a story.

Michelan Sisti, a guy I thought was unreachable back in the day. Exactly 3 years ago I received these autographs from him. He was really excited hearing from me. We still keep eachother informed on the adventure called life. A great guy and still in the bussiness. Go check Cats&Dogs 2 soon!

[Raph]

Finally after 5 weeks something new!! and not just 1 but 2 new autographs!!

Ok so its not exactly Kevin Clash, but I did score my first movie Splinter.
James Murray voiced Splinter on Turtles III.

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/James%20Murray.jpg

And this one is awesome! Ho-Sung Pak was Raphael's fght double on Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze. He sent me his own photo signed and inscribed!! And what a great picture huh?

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/Ho-Sung%20Pak.jpg

Very happy with these two. Now on the the next. Cowabunga!!!

[Buffy]

Wow, cool! I've never seen that Raph picture.

[Raph]

Ok guys, just freaked out!! This is so cool. I sent Ernie Reyes Jr. a letter and some photos for an autograph. He left me a message on YouTube. You gotta watch this :D:D

Hopefully he´ll find some time for the interview!

[Buffy]

Pretty sweet! I especially like the first photo.

[Ninjinister]

Pretty sweet! I especially like the first photo.

Yeah, he looks so young there, even though there wasn't a lot of time between the two movies (about 1 year).

[***First of Two Latin Kings***]

Yeah, he looks so young there, even though there wasn't a lot of time between the two movies (about 1 year).

It's probably just the boyish haircut. He's also standing next to someone much taller and he's dressed like a turtle. He looks impish.

It always bothered me that they didn't make action figures of him or Perry. :tcry:

[Raph]

Newsflash and update:

almost 3 years ago I had a great TMNT day in Antwerp, Belgium. The report of that day has been on my website ever since. I had a TV episode from a Gameshow in which this day was covered. Thanks to Master Splinter here on the forums who cut out the TMNT report part, I was able to add this to the webpage.
So if you are interested in seeying it, it's here:
http://www.tmntautographs.com/eventtmntday.html

Its mostly in Dutch, but you can see me after about 3:15 minutes!
________

Furthermore:

The signed photos from David Wise, Megan Hollingshead and Shishir Inocalla are on their way

And I've been able to get in contact with Michael Turney (Danny Pennington from the first movie).

[Raph]

Yaayy, new additions!!

After lying in her Prius for almost 2 weeks, simply because she planned to send them to the post office, my signed pictures from Megan Hollingshead finally arrived today :)

Here they are:
Dr. Abigail Finn, from 'Monster Hunter' and Sydney from 'Notes from the Underground'

[Ninjinister]

Awesome stuff!

[Raph]

David Wise signed my photos and they returned here today! David was the main writer for the classic '80 and 90's cartoon.
Funny thing; This package of signed photos also got delayed. They we're right in the middle of a household argument who's turn it was to deliver the packages to the post office that week.

Here they are!!

[Ninjinister]

Yayyyy! Bueno!

[Raph]

Nice haul!

Ever though about switching those bandanna colors around?

Yeah pretty weird huh. These were the only 2 backgrounds that were used for the shows titles and they exactly switched the 2 bandana colors! I noticed that right away! I could have switched them as I was making these photos but I wanted to leave it original!

[Master Splinter]

I didn't even notice!!!

LOL

-ms

[Powder]

Awsome! Really really creative idea using those backgrounds! David is a great guy too.

[Raph]

And something new for today!!
Darcy Vorhees sent me a storyboard page and an exposure sheet from TMNT!

Here is a storyboard page from Turtles Forever drawn by Darcy Vorhees.
The logo says 'Back to the Sewer', that's because initially 'Turtles' Forever was going to be a 2-part episode in the BttS season (that why it says Part 1 at the top) It was going to be episode 167 and 168. Later it was decided to make a stand-alone movie!

http://www.tmntautographs.com/letters/Darcy%20Vorhees%20a.jpg

And this is an Exposure sheet showing the various actions to communicate better with the Japanese animators, who don't always understand certain
drawn actions and explanations in the storyboard pictures from US people. This one is an action from episode 159: "The Incredible Shrinking Serling".

http://www.tmntautographs.com/letters/Darcy%20Vorhees%20b.jpg

[Master Splinter]

Impressive stuff yet again! Keep them coming Raph!

-ms

[Buffy]

Very cool!

[Samhain]

Great pickups as always!

[Raph]

Totally bodicious update! Kenn Scott (credited as Kenn Troum in TMNT) signed me a picture a few weeks ago, but the ink was dry and the autograph didn't show that well. So I could send a new picture, no sweat!

Check what he sent back to me!!!

[Powder]

Very cool I like the first & last best. Were you at the 25th anniversery galabunga or any of the stops?

[Raph]

No I wasn't. I live in Holland. :(

[Raph]

Well It's been a little quiet last week. But I guess I can only get so much at a time :D.
I did stumble across some new interesting contacts and some mayor names, now lets just hope I'll get anything back from them. Hopefully next week I'll have some new treasures to share here!

To keep in the line of "It's kinda quiet, so let me show another personal favorite" Here is the very first TMNT photo I got signed, back in January 2006 (Wow that's ages ago )

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/Cam%20Clarke%20e.jpg

Back then I wasn't making crisp clean retouched DVD screencaps, like I always do, so I used a trading card and enhanced that as much as I could from such a small picture. But it turned out ok, and I was really excited to get it back with Cam Clarke his autograph. After that the collecting fever struck me big time ...and we all know what it lead to.. a full fledge TMNT autograph invasion :tlol: :tlol: :tlol:

[Luzmagica]

Allways a pleasure for my eyes, visit this thread, Rutger !!! Nice adds!!! Congrats!!!

[Raph]

W00t! New additions.

Been talking with Ross May for a while now. Really great guy and just a big a TMNT nerd as we all are :D

Ross wrote 2 Tales comics, Nr. 19 and 22. I got them both signed and inscribed from him, as well as a Raphael sketch. Bare in mind that Ross is a writer, not an artist, but I love the drawing!

http://www.tmntautographs.com/comics/Ross%20May%20a.jpg

http://www.tmntautographs.com/comics/Ross%20May%20b.jpg

So Cute..

[Powder]

Lol his sketch is funny. Great stuff as always! (I feel like I say that alot, oh well. I can only use so many words to describe such a great collection!)

[Raph]

It's Cool Dennis! I always love to see the comments. And there is so much more you can use:

Great additions, Awesome sigs, Wow cool autographs, Great stuff, etc.. :trazz:

[discordiatookie]

LOL!!! Thanks for those words! ;) :D :) ....I will use it frecuently....
I like those additions...I´m just a bit nervous to see the sign over a comic-cover!...I supouse that you have doubles of those comics ?

[Raph]

Yes Luz, I have doubles! I indeed want a full collection of clean mint comics. So any comic I get signed is a double one!

[Raph]

Today I received this awesome commission piece from none other then Michael Dooney. I (of course) asked for a Raphael, and don't you think it looks amazing?

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/Michael%20Dooney%20a.jpg

He also included this print, which he signed for me!

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/Michael%20Dooney%20b.jpg

[turtlelife]

Dude your collection is awe inspiring. I don't even collect autographs and now you got me wanting to get all the voice actors. :tlol: And that Dooney sketch is just beastly. I wouldn't want to come across that Raph in an alley, or a pond (which he seems to be in?).

Again such an amazing collection, congratulations, you are surely one of the ultimate fans.

[Raph]

Thanks turtlelife,

Yeah I'm very proud of my collection. I'm assuming you saw the entire website? Been working on it for 4 and a half years now, and met and befriended many people ' cause of that!

And I'm still not done :D, keep an eye out, more coming soon!

[Luzmagica]

Wonderful additions!!!:teek::tgrin: Those Raphael prints take away the breath!!!! :tgrin: Congrats!!! :tgrin:

[Raph]

Wow, I find it quite strange that only 2 people responded on my Kevin Clash aquisitions. Did you guys even saw on the previous page that I have the autographs of Movie Splinter I and II and Elmo?

[Raph]

And today another package in the mailbox!
My latest and pretty awesome piece of art from Alex Deligiannis!! He Rocks!

[discordiatookie]

That is absolutely awesome (Alex D. sketch). The note especially, which reminds me a bit of Mark Martin's TMNTs.

As for the Kevin Clashes, I was watching Labyrinth earlier this week and spotted his name in the credits. I recognised it, was sure it were TMNT related and done a quick search 'pon the net. Wow, it's Splinter! And Elmo! Kinda felt like the time I found out Shredder was Uncle Phil. Congratulations on thon autographs!

Thanks CPSG, and welcome to the board! Did you by any chance check out my website with my full collection?

[Raph]

Somebody please give me mouth to mouth. I freaked out this afternoon as I opened my mailbox.
I was still expecting 2 or 3 autographs, so I opened this envelop quite casually untill I saw the autographs of Elias Koteas a.k.a Casey Jones from the original movies!! I succeeded after seven failed tries! So fricking happy!

Here they are!!

[Raph]

Ain't it awesome, I've been doing this collecting for 4 and a half years now and I managed to score 4 autographs in my latest TMNT movies top-5 within a year!!

But I can't retire yet :D just gotta keep going 'till 2012! Then I can hunt for new names!
And there are still plenty of people to find.

LOL!!!:lol::lol::lol: Thats a positive point of view!!!! :tlol::tlol::tlol: Go on!!!!

[Raph]

Sure I will Luz, you are one of my biggest fans!
While it's not going as fast as it used to go (the more people I find the slower it goes), I'm still expecting people.

And although I'm not entirely sure I will succeed with them, these are names I'm still expecting hopefully:

Martin P. Robinson (Leo's puppeteer in movie 1)
Larry Lam (Stunt Leo in all Live action reincarnations)
Shishir Inocalla (Stunt Mikey in movie 3 and head stunt Venus in NM)
Michael Turney (Danny Pennington in movie 1)
And Gregory Abbey aka Frank Frankson aka John Campbell is still so incredibly kind enough to hunt a bunch of the 4Kids VA's for me (he is so awesome)

'Till next update :tcool:

[Raph]

Hi all, well make some space 'cause I have a huge 4Kids update.

About 6 months ago I sent a bunch of photos to 4Kids to try and get some remaining character I found hard/impossible to get into contact with. Being close with Gregory Abbey (Raphael), he told me he would intercept those photos and help me out!

Then there was this news that 4Kids might shut down etc...but I mentioned that before. About 2 months ago, I heard from Gregory that 4Kids wasn't shutting down anymore, but also not much was going on. They were now recording a new Yu-Gi-Oh season called "5-D's" and some TMNT VA were in it. He would try and get as many of the photos signed. And he really tried hard which I find amazing!

Today I got back this fat envelope and below are the results of Gregorey' Quest!

FROM THE 2K3 SEASONS:

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/poster.jpg
Found this extra added poster photo in the envelope, signed by Wayne and Gregory

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/Greg%20Carey.jpg
Oh yeah, Gregory rocks, he went over to Greg Carey's house to have him sign my Hun photo!

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/David%20Zen%20Mansley%20a.jpg
David Zen Mansley signed my Agent Bishop photo :) happy, happy

AND FROM THE FAST FORWARD SEASON:

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/David%20Zen%20Mansley%20b.jpg
David Zen also signed my Darius Dun photo!

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/Wayne%20Grayson%20c.jpg

Wayne Grayson signed my Michelangelo and Dark Mikey pic with a nice quote.

Darren Dunstan, Splinter

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/Christopher%20C.%20Adams.jpg
And I finally have Christopher C. Adams, a.k.a. Cody Jones!

Thank you for your time....:tcool:

[Powder]

Awsome! You must be so excited :)

[Raph]

Indeed! Having Hun, Cody, Bishop and Darius Dun is a real treat!!

[Buffy]

Cool! I love all the remarks on the photographs: cloney goodness!

[TheCanadiandrome]

[Raph]

man those 2k3 autographs are awesome! seriously you've got a sweet collection of autographs.

has it been easy to get them all? how did you go about starting? how could i get some?

Thanks TMNT_25,

Yeah it has been quite a trip over the last 4 and a half years. Really excited about what Gregory did for me to score some few names I was still missing. And still more is coming, I found a few new OT voice actors recently :)

About your questions: Has it been easy?
Sometimes yes, sometimes Oh god not at all :), but I'm persistant and that really worked. For example it took me 8 tries to find Elias Koteas.

How did I go about starting?
Well I already was and still am collecting movie and celeb. autographs. At a certain moment I started with everything TMNT about 4 years ago. I started easy..Internet! What a bless :) well, IMDbPro was what started it all, then personal websites with contact info, and thats what got the ball rolling.

How could you get some?
Well like i said, start of with IMDB and look for the VA's personal websites. As for 4Kids actors, it would have been easier to ask that about 4 years ago. The very first time I just sent out a big bunch of photos to the 4Kids studios and waited. But nowadays, there's only 1 show recorded there, so almost everyone is gone...

[Luzmagica]

Cool adds!!! Its nice specially that Darren Dunstan, Splinter remark!!!! :tgrin::tgrin::tgrin: "Keep training Rutger!" With Splinter´s name and paw!!!! Awesome !!!! super cute!! :tcool::tcool::tcool: I love it!

[Raph]

Wow..:teek:..29 days since my last update! But I have something new. I'm kinda running out of classic cartoon VA's to find, but I was still able to tracks down a small few. One of them being Nicolas Omana.
He was the voice of Walt (the brother of Zack the fifth turtle) and Rasputin the Mad Frog (the one with the Bow). He was amazed that somebody wanted his autograph, so he literally jumped out of his chair to sign those pics and return them :)

Here they are:

My full report on how I got these signed photos from Martin P. Robinson is in the General section titled "Amazing story, a must read!"

Martin P. Robinson was Leonardo's puppeteer, and he is also Telly monster and snuffy from Sesame Street. I sent him a Leonardo photo, he added the others! Great guy btw!

[Powder]

So cool! Gotta love those additional photos too.

[Raph]

Oh Yeah, more signed photos!!!!

Finally got my signed photos back from Thom Pinto (he used Pony Express :P )
Thom was a voice actor for the classic 80's/90's cartoon. He's most known for voicing Dask the Nutrino but he also did both McDonald Crump and Captain Filch in the 1990 episode "Raphael Meets His Match"

Here they are!!

[TheCanadiandrome]

good autographs man

[Nelson]

Hey Raph, I don't think I've commented on your collection before. It's impressive, and really unique! I just saw all of it in your site. Loved to read all the remarcs they left you. Some of my favorites are:

"C3P- who?"
"Sure, the masks weren't the best in the last movie... and the script wasn't exactly gold... but at leat Mikey got a story arc!"
"You are the kind of fan every actor wishes to have" (or something to that effect)

A side effect of your collection is that everyone that sees it wants one of their own! You got me thinking how I would display it if I had it. I would frame them all!

Keep it up, man!

[bridgegrn]

Another great addition today! A.C. Farley made this awesome piece for me!!

http://members.ziggo.nl/rutgergret/A.C.%20Farley.jpg

That's awesome, I LOVE his turtle art.

[Raph]

Wow!!!! I just realized that I haven't been here in almost 5 months!!! YIKES!

Having a girlfriend really changes your life! It's really great, but I realize that I have less time for my drawing and TMNT hobbies! I still have to write my NYCC report and post all the TMNT autographs I scored in NYC!

I gotta make some time to get back into my fandom and uphold my autograph status :D...
So from this day on I can honestly say it: I'M BACK! Updates will come soon, fast and more regular.. Keep your eyes open! :tgrin:

[supermanbp]

"Oh look at me, I have a wonderful girlfriend..." Geez, just rub it in my face why don't you? :trazz: Just kidding! You certainly have an awesome collection, so many great pieces. I love the Raphael on the chimney by Andres Ponce. The three dimensional quality of the sais in his hands is great :tsmile:

Hahah, I hear you. It's just (and I mean this) that this is my first real girlfriend ever and I'm already 31...so yeah I'm a bit overwhelmed and over excited actually.
Thanks for your positive comment man, Raph will always be my favorite!!

[supermanbp]

I was totally joking about the girlfriend comment :-P I'm sincerely happy for you, congratulations! :tsmile:

Thanks TMNT_Canadian, I'm always kinda jealous that you guys have far better chances of meeting an TMNT person in real life.
But I'm proud of what I've acomplished, it's quite a sport to find those people.

I'm hoping to score a few more remaining names, before I can start hunting new Nickelodeon people :D

[Navin Johnson]

I just have to say it again, I have the upmost respect for your collection.
Not just because it is so cool, but the passion you obviosly put into it, getting
the best pictures, tracking down names and whereabouts, and then some how convincing them to actually send a responce. It's got to be mind-boggling the
time and effort that you've put into this.
Congrats and hoping to see more in the future.

Thank you so much, and you are right. I sometimes take a break for a few months (happened twice now) but when I'm working on this hobby I do put alot of effort into it. Spending time tracking people, making the photos, writing nice letters, and keeping track of what I sent, received and still waiting for! It's a great hobby, and I really get a kick when I have a new succes. The greatest thing is the contact with the actors!

Hey guys,

Been a while, but I am still expecting some nice autograph from a few people. Today I got a nice bunch, 6 autographs from Eric Stuart. I wanted him very much 'cause he voiced some pretty cool and well known characters!

He's also a musician, and has a cool band, check it out sometimes!!

For now, here are my new additions!

[Raph]

I said it before and I'll say it again: I'm going slow but steady lately. Except for a few lucky finds now and then I'm def. waiting for the 2012 movie and series to start-up my autograph hunt again but for now I have a special addition.
Via Michelan Sisti I got in contact with Sara Seidman Vance, she a good friend of him and I found out she did costume dressing and makeup for Turtles and Turtles II Secret of the Ooze.

After trying to find her I told her about my hobby and asked for a signed photo from her collection. She was happy to help and sent me this awesome
picture of her and Donny.

If you really wanna do it, go for it!

trouble is i've not got a decent enough printer to print out scanned lobbycards, official photos, screencaps etc. so what if i ask for a pic from Corey? would that work? i'd send a SASE

[Raph]

That might work.
But just to let you know, I don't print my own pictures. I let them be printed at photo shops etc. Proffesional quality

[Raph]

Slowly but steady I'm still receiving new autographs and these new additions took almost 2 years to get back.

Back then Jess Harnell was annouched for the London Film & Comic Con. He cancelled 2 days upfront, since I had my photos already printed, I decided to send them to his agency, and wow today they arrived!

Still a little while to go before I can get screenshots for the new Nick toon but untill then, I still manage to get some autographs :D

And I received another autograph, thats 2 in one week :D

This one is from Francis Moss, he was also a writer on the classic TMNT cartoon! I got this one back pretty fast, about 2 weeks!

[koenne]

Congrats man ! Love the passion and effort you put in your collection

Cowabunga !!!

[pannoni1]

I have that episode's script with his signature! (It's a photocopy, but I still find it cool.) There are still four copies of that left and even though it isn't "actually genuine", you still can get a good taste of what he did as well as what the voice actors were doing (I heard in a Peter Renaday interview that he highlighted/bulleted each of his characters on his script). What's unique is that the copy I received was a first draft, and some lines (such as Raphael's "thank you for flying Turtle Airlines", used in the previous episode, "Burne's Blues") were not present on the final script. Of course, since the voice actors don't use first drafts, the script as shown on that link is basically blank outside of Mr. Moss' signature. In addition to that episode, he still is offering three more of the episodes he wrote for the series (which I also have).

Keep it up with the collection!

Hey guys!!! Wow it's been to long, and I'm still trying so hard.
For a while now I've been trying to get in touch with some of the new people working on TMNT.
Last friday I received this awesome drawing from Franco Urru, he did the new Raphael one-shot from IDW, and he sent this all the way from Italy!!

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/Franco%20Urru.jpg

Hopefully I'm off to a good start for 2012!

[zkarlette]

That sketch is super Awesome Rutger !Good luck with all the others :).

[Raph]

And another update, that good start I hoped for payed off.
Valerio Schiti who did the awesome IDW's Donatello micro issue sent me this bad-ass Raphael sketch.

[Samhain]

Excellent hauling!

[mysterycolor]

very unique collection- really cool!

[Raph]

Thanks mysterycolor, and good news. Sean Schemmel is a guy who doesn't like to sign autographs over the mail, but I might have a chance at getting some autographs from him soon. Which would be awesome since he did some major characters!

It's been slow but I still find some people and when the Nickelodeon show is running I'll be hunting at full speed again!

[Raph]

Sent out my first Nickelodeon photos last week, and some last 4Kids pics. I hope to get something back soon :D! I'll just have to wait!
So for now let's do another "It's kinda quiet, so let me show another personal favorite from the past" post!

When I was well on my way with my collection, I got a PM from Zkarlette, who's a member here. She found out that the karate teacher of her kids was none other then Nick Palma, the stuntdouble for Michelangelo in Turtles II. I was never able to find any contact info, but she was more then happy to help me get an autograph from him! Pretty neat and still a great piece.

http://www.tmntautographs.com/autographs/Nick%20Palma.jpg

[Plasticplayhouse]

Very cool palma pic!

[TheCanadiandrome]

Nice pic I love it

[Raph]

Yess, finally new additions! I've been trying to get in contact with Sean Schemmel and when I managed he was nice but also said he'd rather not sign via mail. So I couldn't send my photos to him. But last week he was at the London Film and Comic Con so I was really happy. He signed 6 photos, cause he did so many big characters in the 4Kids series!

Here they are!

Hey guys, another update! Today I got my photos back signed from Rebecca Soler. She was Joi Reynard in the Ninja Tribunal episodes and '88 April O'Neil in Turtles Forever. Holy scoops!

Here's the stuff she sent me:

http://www.tmntautographs.com/letters/solernote.jpg
Little note she added!

[pannoni1]

Congrats Rutger! Speaking of yellow jumpsuit April, I'm hoping that the original voice of her, Renae Jacobs, will return back my autograph of a cel and action figure that supposedly arrived at her place a little over two weeks ago, and hope it doesn't take over a year like some other guy did! I get that anxious feeling every day now driving home from work, hoping to see her name on a package when it comes. I even decided to mail her the overseas April O'Neil medal and TMNT #11 featuring the original mirage April as well as one of the Archie April O'Neil issues for her to keep as gifts.

[Raph]

Cool to hear that you also sent something! With me the average time for getting an autograph back is a month. So don't loose your hopes yet ;)
But then again I live in Holland, so thats why it's taking a little longer :).
