The Turtles have gone through 3 decades, the 80's, 90's, and 2000's.
Each decade has brought more to the TMNT franchise. Which decade was your favorite?

No Multiple choice? I like all. So I will not vote in only one. :tthumbsd:

I had to go with 2000's. I was 11 when the NT started, so you can imagine how awesome that was for me. We've had some really awesome issues of Tales. But Turtles Forever is what pushed this past decade to be my favorite.

I almost want to vote the 2000s for Turtles Forever alone but...honestly, the main reason I got so excited for that was to see the 87 Turtles again. I loved the new show, and I was really happy to hear we'd get to see the commic Turtles too, but it was all about the classic show for me again. And since I was born in 89, I obviously didn't know the Turtles till the 90s, so I had the toon and the movies to go with. So I'm voting 90s.
Wasn't 90s when Next Mutation came out too? I don't see that on th - *looks down barrel of Peter Laird's shotgun* - ...N-never mind.

The 80's was my favourite decade as that was when I got into the Turtles and when it was invented.

I voted for the 90's because you forgot two things... Next Mutation & Coming Out Of Their Shells.
Are they the Mediterannean & Baltic Monopoly properties of TMNT?

I mean everything was great in the 90s :)
Like most of us here, i was born in the 80s and grew up loving the turtles.

I suppose the 1990's for me.
The turtles sure started the '90's decade on a high note, and following the Bat-Mania of 1989, I was all about the turtles for the next couple of years.

I chose the 80s because it is where it started for me and the turtles. anytime my family and i ordered a pizza, it reminded me of the ninja turtles.
Then when the first movie came out, i thanked the 80s for starting the turtles :D

Didn't the Turtlemania peak begun already in 1989, when the long season 3 airing.

I grew up with the old toon as a child, which is why I have so many nice memories from that time. I was so excited every time I got a new toy  So I have to say the nineties :)

80's where it all began.
And 90s could probably list TNM even if most people don't like it ;)

'90s. The fad was still going in the early years, it had by far the widest range of different Turtles fiction going on, Archie, Image, and the movies ran in their entirety, and the early '90s were also high points for the quality of the Fred Wolf cartoon and the Mirage comics.

Kind of ironic how at the beginning of the 90's TMNT was booming, yet by the end of the 90's they were all but dead.
When you stop to think about it, its amazing how things are only popular for a short time before they die down a bit.

90s because that is when they became really popular and when I really got into them. The Archie comic has a very 90s feel to it.

I like them all: 80' started it all, 90's when I really got into TMNT in the first place and 2000's what dragged me back to real fandom, after "not-so-active years". This is a hard decision... If I really have to say one, just one, I'll maybe go with... hmm... 2000s. I've been much more active fan in this decade :D And well, Turtles Forever kinda brings together all three decades of TMNT... TF is probably the main reason that makes this last decade to be my favorite :)

Most of my Turtles related memories are from the 90's, but I voted for the 80's, since my favourite Turtles stuff are still the Mirage Volume 1 comics.
Those comics had a massive influence on me as a kid, specially first issue (I read it in 1990-92 or so, but well, it came out in 1984).

I have to say 90's, even tho I like original comics very much. But Archie comics were the ones that got released over here, and I grew up with them and they're still the ones I like best.

It was not much Mirage at all in Europe. I didn't know about it before the Internet.

90's are winning, I'm not surprised. TMNT was all but dead by 1998 though.

Wow this is tough 80's was the birth and the Mirage comics was at there best at the time. I was a kid in the 90's and thats when I got all the toys and watched the show most the stuff that came out during that time was great. 2000 started out really awesome and 2k3 is great but towards the end there was alot of disappointment.:tcry:
Yup I think I'm going with the 90's.
