Am I the only one that notices that the Splinter fig doesn't have the sleeves like he does in the cartoon?

Yeah... like it matters? He prolly doesn't heve 'em baecause it would be difficult or something like that.

I have no clue why that is. I'm just guessing that the no sleeve thing is easier to put the shirt on? I don't know. Ignore me.

Well, they didn't have sleeves on the old Splinter figure either--and at least they've made an improvement on the robe itself, and got rid of the ragged-looking trim on the bottom. Also, the new Splinter seems to have the same accessories he used to have--albeit in multiple incarnations: He has the ninja bow, the sword cane (though they, like the other new weapons have gotten the nifty repaint treatment) from the original, and the ooze, and the quiver of arrows (also repainted) from the movie Splinter. Anyway, I got it as a gift from my girlfriend, and I like it a lot better than the old one. But I do kinda wish it had sleeves, too. :wink:

JAh, that reminds me of the old action figure line when they had Shredder with the cape and no shirt on, and I was like, what nonsense is this!?!?!? He didn't look like that in ANY of his incarnations, comics or cartoon. WTF???

and have you noticed he is the same size as the turltles,, maybe taller,, whats up with that,,,so i use my MOVIE STAR SPLINTER from TMNT II to display them all together,, looks a lot better

And also, why are Michaelangelo's nunchuckas put on his back, when in the cartoon they go on the sides like Raph? Oh well.
i agree that the lack of sleeves on the cloth robe made the figure look bad. they could have made a robe similar to the movie star splinter robe, that one was cloth and had sleeves and actually looked good. but the first 2 splinters cloth robes looked more like a dress.

Seriously man, what the f*ck is up with you bumping all these old threads? It's bad enough with year-old threads, but this is more than a decade old! It's not like you're even adding anything to the discussion, all you're doing is pushing more relevant discussions further down the page (and yes, I'm aware of the irony of me replying).

I'm just against stupidity in all its forms. And I wouldn't say I'm lashing out, I'm just blunt with what I say. If you don't like it, you can always put me on your ignore list.
By the way, if you're defining how well one succeeds at life based upon said individual's conduct in an internet forum, well, you might want to take a long look at your own life there...

It doesn't bother me... I've seen much worse since I started here in 2001. ;)
But seriously Slaysghosts... the mods Don't live on the boards here. I personally have a full time job and several personal obligations and responsibilities in the 'real world'. I don't have time to live on here like some people do. College kids and highschoolers can... I can't.
This forum is Huge, with hundreds of active members and hundreds of active threads. Things will be missed. It's not the end of the world...
And just because someone necroposts by mistake doesn't mean you have to waste two pages giving them crap about it. Just let it go. If nobody wants to join in, it'll sink back into the ether..
Oh, And by your logic, I should ban you because you dare to speak against The Mods. :D
