Who are your favorite tmnt fan-artists? [Archive]

Well, I don't know the names of all of my favorite artists, but Greenwillow's art is amazing. Of course, Kyabetsu is probably my favorite because she's drawn scenes from my fanfics :D and she comes up with all sorts of cool ideas and uses different drawing styles.

Well, my old favs include the Tom Kyz...at (something like that) artist that Krang hosts in the art section here. Then there's a fan who's not on this forum, who goes by Sango. She draws some of the most detailed TMNT movie style TMNT I have ever seen! I knew another German fan by the name of Javvi, who had illustrated scenes from a random number of fanfics. I also like what Amandatello, Kali, and Kya do too, of course.

The new artists that popped up... Coolsux, Bigthew, Caliosdhe, Brodie... *runs back out to pick up more names* ...wuffle, pepsi(something), kaejae, and aaaaaall the other budding new artists I failed to mention. ^^

Oh, geez, couldn't you have done an easy question? I don't have a favorite, I like everybody! Truely, I think every artist brings something important to the fandom.

But some of the ones that just blow me away are Amandatello, GreenWillow, Tom Kyzivat, ChibiKasai, CoolSux, Tinselcat, Kya, Sango, anybody who's given me gift art, uh, uh... I know I've forgotten a ton of people, and I'm sorry. I love you all!

Yeah thats a hard question i mean they are all good i mean you can't really say some ones art is bad cuz thats how they see it.

crap. she did the "biker raph" and don in his lexus w/ his little palm pilot and stuff. Her style is "real" and she draws her turtles w/ their eyes farther appart then most artists, but her work is incredible. somebody help me out here... WHAT"S HER NAME!?!?

Awww, I got mentioned again! Thanks, Brodie! You're the one that did the really stylized Don with the lose belt and elbow pads, right? I really liked that, I thought it was a really cool take on the design. 'Course I love the lose "bandage" type stuff normally anyway. ;)

wai this got so many replies! :D I thought this would die...and i dunno about the fan art awards, they're good but i was just wondering who were your faves.
Not to put anyone down :roll: EVERY tmnt fan art is good art of course ;) but yknow...
My favorite artists are bigthew (soo detailed :) ), jade green (ok, i dunno if she's actually a fan artist but her avatar rocks my world :D tho it reminds me from that guy whose eyes are of different color in wayne's world :lol: but its awesome), then tom kyzivat, then amy dumas...ya i think those are my favs :D
I also like how you draw the turtles brodie :thumbsup: they rock too.

hes one of my fave artists and he's cool too i chatted with him a couple of times :teek: sorry i forgot lol

I like Jared Martins stuff. I admit that not all of his technodrome stuff looks the best but i've seen some of his other drawings and the totally rock. haha thanks dude......and Duke.......that is very flattering. I LOVE the Maxx!!! If anyone appreciates animation at all they will love the Maxx. So I obsess, yes obsess, over him. ;) Its hard to believe anyone likes my style.....its pretty crappy.......but thanks.....I just dont tend to like drawing me cuddling with any ninja turtles or April for that matter......they arent real, and never will be....... ;) I just dont get some people I guess, my gf can do a TON more for me than a drawing :)

Oh and i gotta add joe madureira to the list...he did a tmnt "fanart" pic which is one of the best tmnt pics i've ever seen in my whole life ;) then again he's a professional comic book artist so he's got lots of experience.. :p

Madureira---That guy is brilliant. If you haven't had a chance, check out his work on X-Men, and a comic he did called Battle Chasers. True, he's not well on due dates, but it's worth the wait, most of his stuff you can get on back issue. I think his other comic is Steam Punk or something.

Yeah, that's probably the same pic you got as i got it from kazaa too heh, and i gotta say madureira is an excellent artist...he can do anything from anime-style art to realistic art, and everything's quite detailed, i really admire that guy. :D

Hmm...fav artists? The ones I can think of off the top of my head are Kyabetsu, Kali, HorseTechie, Greenwillow, and Sango. But, really, there's just *so* many great artists out there...to list them all would take me forever.
