(My 500th post ,yeah!)
Can anyone help finding the answer to this math sequence?
1,2,6,42,1806,_?_ . What should follow 1806?

1x1 +1 =2
2x2+2=6
6x6+6=42
42x42+42=1806
1806x1806+1806=....

Yes i follow. Dang now i see how easy it really is. I thought it was a complex exponential math. I took hours to figure it out.
1806x1806+1806=1962402
Thank you!
Can you help me with math too?
2+3=10
7+2=63
6+5=66
8+4=96
9+7=?

Why do Math books/teachers think this kind of stuff really benefits anybody? This is the kind of stuff that will simply frustrate students into hating math forever!
Anyhoo...
2+3=5, 5x2=10
7+2=9, 9x7=63
You can take it from there, bro!

6 + 5 = 11 11 x 6 = 66
8 + 4 = 12 12 x 8 = 96
9 + 7 = 16 16 x 9 = 144
Congratulations on reaching your 500th post!

You like sequences, so here is one you can keep doing forever.

1211
111221

It is like this actually i need to do the math to get the password to a email attachment to open it. I struggle at this type of math.

I would be one such student.
And as such, I can't help but wonder:
How did you go about figuring this out?
Was it something that just came to you? Or was there a process by which you came to the answer.
Heh, show your work!

Let´s wait for Oldman... if he can´t figure it out I will tell :) but is easy, you just have to think outside the box, it have more to do with Language than with Math

It's all about finding a pattern in a mathematical sequence.
2+3=10
7+2=63
6+5=66
8+4=96
9+7=?
It's easy to notice the real sum of first two numbers creates a result that the number on the right can be divided by. Like 63/9=7 - and 7 is the first number on the left. The same pattern repeats, 66/11=6, 96/12=8. And so on. So they are all like "a" times "(a+b)", thus you just need to calculate 9 x (9+7) to get the final result.
It's fun, although it's not really math, more like easy arithmetical puzzles you could find in IQ tests..
Math sequences are fairly useful when dealing with statistics and performing a large amount of tests to collect various data, but not entirely useful for the real world. It's more like math nerds showing off how big their penis is...which isn't that large to begin with.

Yeah, my brain just doesn't function in a way to work these things out aswell. I guess if I really tried, i'd probably be able to get some, however - I just can't be arsed with it. I find it pretty boring...

Am i on the right track if i say it is like roman numerals?

No... but you almost did it, count how many numbers are in the line but do it loud and hear what you say... you will get the answer, think in language way not just Math operations... is easy but we have to think outside the box, you will kill me when you discover :D
I can even say to you what is the next sequence, but you will not understand how I do it if you can´t understand the logic, next is:
13112221
....... next?

A little help?
There is one 1 = 11
There is two ones= 21
But wouldn't the next be 21 still... My brain couldn't do that one.
For 1211, there is one 1, one 2, and two 1 = 111221 etc.
Help with getting 21 to 1211?

1211 one 2 and one 1
one 1 one 2 two 1 - 111221
you are smart :)
1211 one 2 and one 1
one 1 one 2 two 1 - 111221

Oh... Thank you, you are pretty smart too, did you create that problem?

No, it is so old like Dinosaurs...
Now this is really a mathematical ordered sequence of numbers:
9 - 8 - 1 - 4 - 5 - 2 - 7 - 6 - 3
What is the rule to get this order?
Clue: why is there no zero if all Indian/Arab numbers are there?

0 i get it now,man that was actually so easy. Here the next three in the sequence.
312211
13112221
1113213211
31131211131221
Now for that other sequence
9-8-1... I guess it got something to to with (b mod a) + 1. But im trying to find value b and a.
