hee hee, thanks.
i've been reading Jim Mahfood comics... "GRRL SCOUTS" and "STUPID COMICS" ... he's got this GREAT angular style and does a LOT of BLACK space in his work... not a WHOLE lot of detail. very much a "grafiti style" ... i thought i'd try it. mind you mine's not NEARLY as clean-lined and FUNKY as his, but this is my first time w/ this style.

heh. but yeah, i've never been comfortable with dumping insane amounts of ink onto my sketches, b/c i LOVE detail. ... heh. this is an excercise in BREAKING ME OUT OF MY RUT. i will cure my fear of NEGATIVE SPACE with my SHARPIE!!

*flogs her inner artist w/ the sharpie.*
kya: ADAPT YOUR SKILZ!! CHANGE!! LEARN!! GET BETTER DAMMIT!!!
*inner artist is too busy getting high on sharpie fumes to pay any attention*

That's so cool :D
I used to have fluorescent color markers...they're smelly :sweatdro: but you can draw lots of interesting stuff with em :P
