So today march 28th marks my having been here for one full year & I've gotta say it feels good. I see alot of folks who come in and post a few times then dissapear & it almost makes me sad. To me this is the best website in existence. Aside from all of the games, cards, picture galleries & thensome at the mainpage, the technodrome has the greatest forum I know. At this site I've 'met' tons of really great people & established friendships that I'm sure will be kept for years to come. (Hopefully some of us will get to meet one day at a con or something.) Not only that but many of the great folks have traded, sold, & also directed me to means by which to enhance my collection, which to many is the greatest pride of being a fan. The most up-to-date news is posted here as fast as any turtle scout can find it, beautfiul collections are showcased, people can have their talents acknowledged in the fan works section or simply discuss the many aspects of the TMNT multiverse. The technodrome is like my (online) home away from home (and homepage no less). Its the first site I check when I hit up the internet & the last I double check before bed. I wish I had found the site sooner in my days, I've been a fan since I could walk & never had an outlet for it, at least as far as sharing stories/opinions & the like go. Krang & Shredder aswell as others I may have forgotten or been unaware of do an excellent job of running this site & I hope everyone appreciates it as much as I do. So I guess this is just a small way of saying thank you to the admins & everyone here with whom I've spoken with or now have a great relationship with; you guys are the best. Thanks for giving us turtle obssessed misfits a place to fit in.
Feel free to share any memories, stories, or sheer love that comes from having been a member at this forum. :tgrin:

Well I've been here since 2004 as my reg date says, (yes, you wouldn't believe I'm almost a senior member of this forum), but I started posting more regularly in 2009.
I've been here longer than most people, around 5 years in total. It was fun watching the reviews for the 2k3 series the most. A lot of you guys kinda missed the experience of what it was when the 2k3 series first started.
We were like, "They're making a new TMNT cartoon?" "4kids is making it, I hope they don't tone it down!" "Shredder is an Utrom?" "Fast Forward is replacing Season 5?!"
LOL, my fondest memories is watching the fandom react to the 2k3 series.

You've been here a whole year and have had over 1,000 posts!...damn! No, I mean it's been fun on these forums, and to all the people who ask about Ninja Turtles to me, I get to inform them of current news, share photos and videos, and progress for upcoming events. It's nice to have that connection. I'm happy that the forums aren't immature (even though some members are literally), and it's nice to see others different opinion on various topics. March 25th marks an anniversary for me as well being the day I fell in love with TMNT. Pretty much for that reason I thought I'd respond to this post. Congrats on 1 year for ya, Powder!

Congratulations, Powder! Thanks for the comments about the site and forums. Glad you like them, and thanks to you and everyone else for being a part of them!
Hey Powder, Totally agree on everything that you phrased so well there. It's also my first site I check in the morning and the last before I go to bed. I too met some friends and very good far away contacts.
In 3 months from now I'll be here for 8 years already, I guess that makes me ultra senior?
As a Dutch fan it's even harder for me to find an outlet here. So the technodrome is also a second sewe...errr home for me!
And I'm sure the forums will keep on flourishing in this 'dark' year without any new TMNT news. We'll stay strong.

Do we really need threads for every anniversary? Why not have a special anniversary thread where people can tell they have been here for 1, 5 or 10 years or whatever.

Congratulations dude!! Its always a pleasure read your posts!!!
When I read that the technodrome was celebrating its 10th anniversary I realized I had been a part of half of that and that boggled my mind that I had been part of this site for half the time the site has been around. When I first started lurking the board was in 2004 when the first season of the OT DVD came out, I saw it on Walmart and decided to check online to see what it really had inside. I didn't register until new for the second season came out though. But yeah the site felt like it had been around for a long time and now I've been around for just as long as it was when I first registered.
Not a regular poster but I do come in every time there is big news about TMNT or I'm in a big TMNT mood and want to discuss the turtles universe up to the last little detail before I get bored and move on to another franchise to ove ranalyze. But yeah 1000 posts in 5 years not bad, I think most of those are recent too.

Someone is a little jealous of not getting attention.

they do make a point though. Why not have a special anniversary thread where people can tell they have been here
Because he's Powder.
Even Krang approved of the thread. Heck, I don't even know who the hell he is and I like him. I don't think any other poster here could have pulled off an anniversary thread but he did.
